Love the stores but employees always seems to make drama for me. For now on I’ll just look and go. Don’t be a Karen be a Star :))
Super prices on really nice stuff. If you appreciate REAL wood furniture and dont mind buying used. This is your place. They have lots of other things too that goodwill doesnt have.
I love supporting them. Prices seemed too high and the quality of furniture was very low. They need to move out the junk. There are tons of good furniture donations out there. The store smells from some of the furniture.
Nice place to browse around, a lot of furniture not a lot of thrifty things
Very nice people work and volunteer there. Its near my house so I have to be careful cuz I need to be bringing things and not buying things to make room LOL. Its tail end of memorial week they are currently running a 20% off special. If nothing else stop by, and leave a little donation Habitat does great work, i personally know 4 families who have benefited greatly. Today climate its even more important to Be a Blessing. You might even be the recipient of a blessing as I was with a great staff, AND double blessing, ran into an old friend.
If youre looking for furniture, this is the place to go. Remember this is for Habitat for Humanity. All proceeds benefit people in need. That being said, if you need to furnish your pad, visit this place. They have all the furniture that you need. This isnt Ashley Furniture. These are donated items. Ask them for a deal. The worst that can happen is theyll tell you no. But its worth the visit.
While this resale store displays a fine variety of gently used merchandise, it was also quite surprising to be visually and pleasantly assaulted today with an eclectic array of quality furniture. I found vintage sofas, cabinets, and antique desks (seemingly from a long defunct law firm). Almost sadly, I could not find a twist grip, ergonomically handled can opener. I could not find ANY can opener among their nearly dozen trays of ordinary utensils for dining. Instead there were an assortment of butcher knives which could be used, if well-skilled, to take down a grizzly bear. I will stop my dramatic prose now.How about: This is the nicest thrift store I have discovered in Florida!Yes, the last phrase is the most accurate among my meandering narrative.Perhaps photos would be helpful to you, but many reviewers have done an admirable job of showing theirs.A fact for which you should take note is that the merchandise is ever changing. Go there and surprise yourselves...unless you already have tickets to see Mickey Mouse at Disney. You just may find a two hundred dollar sofa, like new, which Havertys would charge you nine hundred dollars. To answer your unspoken question:No, I do not get any enumeration for this or any reviews on Google. Simply, I like to brag about discoveries which may help YOU and my friends and family. All right, send me virtual home baked cookies.
Very decent furniture. A tad expensive for used furniture, but the place is so clean and there are so many nice antique pieces- especially hutches!
I could have furnished an entire house from here. Excellent prices and terrific staff. Totally recommended.
Very attentive staff and a great variety of nice items to shop for!! I love the flash sales!!
Very nice salesman there. Very friendly and helpful.
Lots of furniture items. Very good condition. Hope they still have the items I love when we get our home. No where we can store them before the signing of our house. 😒
I used to love this store but over the past 2 years the prices have gotten ridiculous and the quality of the items dont warrant the charge!! Very very disappointed in habitat!!! For everything being free to you guys and for you to supposedly be here to help provide for people whom may be in need of help and those who have a limited income. I feel that Habitat needs to change this practice!
Bought a couch there. Nice store and very helpful employee s . Very clean. I recommend looking at the Port Charlotte location.
One of my favorite places.
Happy to donate to Habitat. Hope they can use everything they received.Staff very polite and helpful.
Well run charity. Good to see things reused and repurposed rather than thrown out.
This Habitat for Humanity location is a resale thrift store of donated items. They have a wide selection of reasonably-priced furniture, household items, books, CDs, along with clothing for men, women, and children. There is a turnover of items for sale, as new donations are received. Staff and customers are required to wear masks.
Great organization, great people, great place to find gently used furniture.
Best place to shop for used furniture!
Always has great stuff to buy.
Great place to find super bargains. We stop in every week. Good prices and friendly people. Thank you for the great service.
Always fun its like hunting
Cant beat 50% off and some great finds.
Beautiful pieces, but pretty expensive for secondhand...
Good cause, great bargains, and helpful staff. Put it on your weekly rounds if youre frugal or bargain shopping!
Nice selection of a variety of things. Good prices
Very disappointed in this store. For a company that exists for such a great cause, their furniture is way overpriced for the quality and customer service is lacking. I bought two twin metal frames and realized they didn’t fit my mattress. I understand that they have a no return policy, but these were metal frames which were still wrapped up from the store and I called within a few hours of purchasing them to ask if I can return them because they did not fit my bed and they refused. As a business owner myself, I understand that every rule must have flexibility built in for certain situations. I now own $80 worth of useless bed frames and I will never shop this store again.
Always great finds and great prices and friendly help. Such a good cause too.
Very clean, good furniture, variety...
We stopped at this habitat for the first time. What a nice surprise! It was very clean, neat and organized with an exceptionally nice assortment of items for sale. We will definitely make this a regular stop.
Very clean polite staff Wayne was the associate that assisted me.Nice assortment
Great prices & nice stuff.
Well-maintained store. Lots of nice furniture selection got a few books. The temperature was very hot. Had to get out of there cuz the temperature was so warm. May go back when winter comes
Always a pleasure to shop there! Ya never know what youll find. The ladys are very helpful and fun.
Did not find what I was looking for prices are getting up there for sure I guess we all need to make that Almighty dollar
High priced used home furnishings.
Given 4 stars, store and employees are nice. The 4 stars is because the furniture is not cleaned for bed bugs. The previous owner are responsible to clean before furniture is donated. No proof of cleaning is provided or required.
Clean well organized pretty good as thrift stores go
Great place to shop
Amazing
Has a nice selection of furniture. No clothes.
There were a lot of nice things. There were even a couple of things that I really liked & could have used, but theyre way too expensive for a thrift store! The things I wanted I can the same thing brand new! I wish I would have made it to the 50% off sale that they had last weekend! 😢 The two women that were working in the store were very nice & very polite! That goes a long way with me, so I will definitely stop in again sometime! ❤
No one working couldnt find any employees
I love going to this location. The prices are great and the people are always helpful. If you are looking for furniture, dont buy new.
Great quality items. Money spent goes to help people buy homes they could not otherwise purchase.
This is an amazing store with a wonderful purpose. From furniture to jewelry, they have it. Half the fun is in the hunt!
I was VERY impressed the store. The setup was easy to walk thru. I even found and bought a sewing chair that looks EXACTLY like the one my great grandmom had.
This is a must stop for thrift and antique shoppers. Great prices, good cause, and you never know when youll find your next treasure. Check in often for new items and deals.
Found what we were looking for, reasonably priced. Staff friendly!!
Very nice store. Clean, beautiful furniture and attentive staff.
Wow you can find alot there good prices
Great experence, freindly staff, large inventory
How sad that this store is SO over priced compared to other resale stores!! It is NOT new furniture and has been donated. Used to be a new furniture store (Island Furniture) but is now to help others. Was looking for a coffee table and saw one that I liked. Nothing spectacular but wasnt about to spend $120 ! Went to another area thrift store and love the one I bought for $54!!! Hope Habitat will rethink whom ever is pricing their donated things in their new Port Charlotte location!
Great place to get Furniture and accessories for you home or businee. And it hwlps out the community plus the Staff is super helpful and friendly.
This store has become my go to for finding good furniture and great prices. Thank you to all the staff.
Always something good to find. Great variety and very clean.
Very nice furnishings and goes for a good cause.
Found the perfect recliner. But the delivery charge was more than the chair so we had to go without
Nice gently used furniture and home goods at a fraction of retail price. The proceeds are used for beneficial needs.
Vlean, well organized. Prices were good.
Its okay but not as good as businesses Habitat for Humanity you need to go
Great Place Great Staff bought items there and at other Habitat Resale Stores

Prices seem a bit high for a Thrift Store.

Yes. Its a great store to roam around and find great buys. Personally the people working were very friendly

Great place always something for me to buy and help people at the same time.
Clean and nice displays
Disappointed in items and high prices. I know it is for a good cause, but prices seem a bit steep.
Rude cashier named arline? Bathrooms where gross, when I mentioned the condition of the bathrooms to Arline, she simply said.. its not her job and went back to her cell phone.
WE REALLY LIKE THIS PLACE. MADE PLENTY OF PURCHASES HERE.
Love shopping there. Love to helping an organization that gives back to the community, and those in need.
How can anyone find fault with them??They sell used furniture in good condition for fair prices to raise money to build housing for the homeless and financially challenged. There can never be enough businesses like them!
Good store, good prices, always neat and clean.
Theres always something interesting here. I hit this place up before any regular furniture store.
You never know what you might find. Got a fantastic entertainment center!
Best place to donate your furniture and homegoods
I almost moved in
Great people, helpful staff and Linda was a gem to work with thank you
Friendly people and a good cause.
Worst one I have been in so far. Smell horrible
Great Thrift Store
Great store for second hand furniture
Its worth stopping in. You never know what you might find for a good price.
Really nice furniture at inexpensive priced
Very nice and some good prices.
Spoke to the manager re the awful.prices of used goods at these stores Fred is supposed to be a area manager of these so called thrift stores. My ac unit has broken over ten months😆due yo catastrophic hurricane Irma damages.I im in a desperate situation finnancially with extreme heat & my central unit is broken with no help. Im a senior. I saw five year old ac was told to go to negotiate a price which I could afford. Fred was sarcastic unreasonable and demeaning to me. The AC he valuated at full new price and then discounted. (Way over priced for a five year old init );Luckily I told my pastor & the church bought it 4 me well see if it even works. Fred is delusional if he thinks hes dealing in fine goods at Macy prices but this orice gauging is very unfit is 4 a christian enterprise. Employees like Fred appear to out to pocket extra dollars s off the compassion. donations of kind others the pricing this store is more like a trip casino than a chuch oriented non profit store, shame on you fred! You were on speaker phone when you talked so sarcastic to me and my church heard you loud and clear! I do not recommend this store.
Good place get things cheap
Nice store not cluttered
Nice prices and good selection of furniture.
Im sorry to say this. But they are over priced.
Great place to shop friendly people
Fun to look. Clean.
