Fabulous place to buy an above ground pool! Robert is extremely knowledgeable and funny. It was a super easy and breezy experience. We highly recommend Recreational Warehouse and their great staff.

We were lucky to get our hot tub delivered the next day. Sales person was very informative. Only suggestion is to provide more info for a hot tub newbie. The instructions on the chemicals box and the instructions with the tub don’t 100% line up and it’s not clear whether to be concerned about water hardness and alkalinity at start up.

Great service and very knowledgeable sales person Rich was very informative and patient. He gave us great advise and were very happy that he was our sales person. We had been to other Rec stores and traveled out of our way to the Pt Charlotte store and glad that we wound up with him. Pool heater and salt gen are working great. Salesman Rich was very helpful and we decided to purchase an outdoor kitchen Bull for our lanai. Delivery was prompt within a few days which is a miracle these days for anything. The reason I gave only 4 stars was because it came damaged in the box so we had to get another one. Luckily they had one in stock and it came out the very next day. It is working good and looks great. Pricey but hopefully worth it.

We purchased an outdoor kitchen from Robert at Rec Warehouse in Port Charlotte. Robert was very helpful and showed us several designs and colors. He advised us of the delivery dates, and he followed through to see that our outdoor kitchen was delivered as promised. They delivered it and set it up for us as well. We are so happy with the service there and would highly recommend a visit to this store and ask for Robert.

The R/W sales Rep. Rick was outstanding. He went over the different grill and the different between the set ups of grills. They have about 6 to 8 units on the floor to look at. We sat down and went over the prices of each unit. I went to other grill stores and Im still wanting for them to get back to me. We went end of July and got the unit install on 9/10/2021 by 2 installer that were awesome. They show up on time and the two put the unit on my back porch with no problem. This was there 4th unit they install today. They had more line up for the rest of the day.

The employees that came for my install were knowledgeable, professional, and very polite. They did a great communicating when they would be here and were on time. II would highly recommend this company.

Misleading- Didn’t even make it to the store before we ran into issues. We called and spoke with a salesman and then the manager Paul. They advertise on their website that they service Manatee County. Nope. They will service certain warranty pools or spas but not deliver or service one they sell to someone living in Manatee County. Again, the website misleads. That’s all I’m saying along with this final comment from “Paul” - sure, You can buy one from us But will have to sign a statement that they won’t service or warranty the product and I’ll have to pick it up because they won’t deliver it here.” Dude, trust me, with your attitude, I’d have found someone else to service the product that you tell me “I’ll definitely need service on some day and it’ll cost me a lot.” No, no problem, because I’m not wasting my time driving to this place of business where my business is not wanted or apparently needed as “they’ve sold over 6000 spas”. I’m not going to be 6001.

The salesep Rich Lichter was awesome! He took his time explaining the different pools that they had at their showroom and walked us through the process since I have never had a pool..Excellent customer service I purchased the pool and other products for the pool that he recommended. I most definitely will recommend The Recreational Warehouse and refer them to Rich.

Called them on A Monday talked with Michael. I asked if it was possible to get a pool heater installed by the weekend. By that Thursday morning I had my new heater installed. We completed the transaction right on the phone, doesn’t get any easier than that. Thanks to Michael and Matt everything went so smooth. We went in to look for a hot tub. I had viewed many online but need to go to a place which had a lot of options in hot tubs. I found this at recreational warehouse with Mike our salesperson. They had a tremendous selection and Mike was very informative without any sales pressure. After we chose the tub we wanted we got delivery on it in 3 days. We are very pleased with their services and they are very good with follow-up questions we had.

We bought a 12 x 24 above ground pool amd we love it, but there’s more, the few problems that we have had were my own fault amd Matt and recreational warehouse helped me tremendously Without even charging me. We had 2 great experiences with salespersons Matt & Mike in Port Charlotte. The delivery guy was very rude & dropped our pallet of pool equipment from 4 ft. to the ground & then dumped it in our yard & left. We called Matt & he was awesome & is sending out another one tomorrow morning!

The hot tub came as ordered and the salesperson/manager was good. However, when the install crew showed up they said the spa could not be turned on its side as Michael said. Therefore they could not fit the spa in its intended space. We had to cut deck supports to get it in. The install crew said they would come back and finish the install job (cover, rails, etc) but despite multiple calls and promises have not followed up to finish the job. Not happy until they do this. UPDATE: Michael followed up on this immediately. Had a technician out the next day and addressed all of the issues. They were friendly and took care of business. Pleased now. Thank you.

Matt the manager, was great through the whole process he was understanding and willing to fix everything, but is not a one man operation. First delivery was short a whole box of material, when they came to drop it off they dropped it in the middle of the yard. The box of parts they brought to fill the order was for the wrong pool..... terrible service, the pool was short a couple of each piece. Warehouse to customer needs to be organized better

Ive been working with Matt and Mike for years with the purchase of our Caldera Spa and our Bull outdoor kitchen appliances. These guys are super knowledgable and very friendly and easy to work with. Today I spoke with Paul, a GM who Ive never spoken to before. We have an issue with the cover on our spa and between the store and their service arm, Spa Solutions, I get the most prompt and reliable service Ive ever received. Its definitely a great group of people there and I would absolutely recommend their products and service!

Rich helped us very knowledgeable. Store is huge they have an about e ground pool in the store filled with water as a display. We bought a 15 foot round. Thats all that would fit in our yard. Ask for the military discount if you have served $150 off the pool and later 15% off everything else. They have tons of space and outside kitchens too.

It’s so rare to be able to shop where you feel like you’re the number one priority for the sales people but you always do in port Charlotte. The team is outstanding and bends over backwards to meet all your needs. Even when the issue was my fault they jump in to help. If you’re considering a jacuzzi or grill this is the place to go! I’d even pay more, which I didn’t, just for the experience. You won’t be disappointed here!

Tried buying a pool heater and my brother paid with his credit card and everything was fine and then they said we couldn’t take the pool heater because we paid with a credit card and there’s a lot of fraud so i told him i’m a military member active duty showed him my id and told him we just buying for our parents house i told him to get all my information and everything i’m not going to commit any fraud and risk my career i guess since me and my brother are hispanic they said we were going to commit fraud i hope the damn place close

I have been dealing with Recreational Warehouse for 20yrs or so. So glad they opened a store in Port Charlotte. Needed a heat pump, they had it in stock, picked up that day. The Manager Mark was great. Will continue to shop there.
