I had the most delightful experience with Dan the owner of this awesome icecream haven. They are stationed in Portchester, NY but they do catering for events, parties you name it. They have a small, but delicious selection of icecream did I forget to say its homemade too? Im in love with their coffee w/ caramel turtles. If your even down in Portchester give em a visit!

Great ice with lots of options. The staff was really nice and the location was clean with lots of room to sit. Location is wonderful too. By the mall, train and movie theater.

Bona Bona served ice cream at my wedding reception, and they did a top notch job. Our guests raved about the flavors (I personally loved the Valrhona Chocolate and Ultimate Cookies and Cream) and of course the signature meringue topping.Bona Bona also was really easy to communicate with ahead of the wedding, provided very simple pricing options, and delivered everything perfectly on time and with excellent quality. Highly recommend using them for any event!

Unique place, ice cream with toasted marshmallow on top. We had the Nutella smores, presentation was delightful! The graham cracker was mushy throughout but otherwise the ice cream was tasty. The marshmallow fluff was delish, especially torched for the roasted marshmallow flavor. Lots of seating in and outside, servers were knowledgeable especially important for those of us with allergies.

This ice cream shop has both gluten free and vegan options on the menu. The vegan ice cream flavors are so creamy and amazing, I thought my husband made a mistake and ordered the regular ice cream for me the first time we went. The meringue on top tastes so good. They also carry the gluten free/vegan option for the meringue.

Bona bona boasts a premium frosty experience for the whole family. They offer gluten free and vegan choices that are high quality. Their mixture is overly airy like some places which translates to a more intense flavor similar to gelato. I came out to try the italian rainbow cookie since that is one of the most unique flavors I have ever heard of. It was fantastic and tasted fresh and authentic throughout. The burnt marshmallow creme on top bona bona style is a nice touch and makes for Instagram worthy pics. My only knock was that my scoop my have been a tad too sweet... A lil mascarpone swirl would set it off perfectly but I digress. Worth another go sou d! Go see for yourself!

Definitely an amazing ice cream! You can taste how fresh they are! They don’t have a whole looot of flavors but the ones there are delicious! Milkshakes are next level and the best ones around lower Westchester for sure!The place is really nice, and the party room made me wanna have a party there!On top of that the staff was so friendly!

This place is pretty cool. We decided to check it out on a Saturday afternoon. The staff was very friendly and the decor is nice. The menu is what youd expect from an ice cream shop with some very nice additions.

I came here not too long ago the workers are so unprofessional i came in there and all the workers were just flirting with eachother taking forever and being just rude i was telling a girl my order so many times and still got my order wrong i was waiting for a brownie for almost an HOURRR ! totally forgot about my brownie one of them literally asked me what am i waiting for and forgot all about my order !! so not good for a first time

The ice cream was slightly above average but the desserts and the homemade marshmallow creme were great. Id highly recommend the cookie dough waffle sundae. Also, as you can tell from the pictures, the presentation is perfect. This is an after thought for me because Id rather have good tasting food than good looking food but these desserts were both.

The meringue is amazing and such well made ice cream. Store is designed with bright fun colors and they have a sprinkle Room for parties which makes me wish I were the kid in his I would love to have sprinkles raining all over me . I picked up a pint of the holy can only for home which is bona style which has the meringue on it as well and Im excited to try that flavor also.

The ice cream is so flavorful. Definitely can taste the difference from the normal ice cream places. The mint chip was actually made with real mint leaves. It was amazing. Definitely worth trying.

The ice cream I got at WTC Smorgasburg was AWESOME!! I really appreciate that they have a vegan option, and only hope that they expand those options even further

The place is nice, the employees are great. Ice cream is way too, too sweet. On top of that you get the marshmallow on top. We eat maybe 25% of our ice cream. Not even the kids wanted to finished their ice cream and my kids love ice cream.

Just celebrated my daughters 5th birthday here last night. It is a cute venue which I hadnt stepped foot into until the day of the event. While we did have to wait a little bit to set up as they were cleaning from the previous event, we had enough time to get ready before all of our guests arrived. Miriam and her crew were available to answer all my questions and were on hand for the event. The kids began with their apron decorating as the crew took orders. Pizza was served next and was pretty good from the Colony Grill. Sundaes were next and the kids had a great time adding fun toppings but the icing on the cake was the sprinkle shower! The delight on the kids faces was amazing. Miriam was also gracious enough to cut the cake that we had brought and provided to go containers for all the guests. While this is not a cheap place for a birthday party it is certainly a memorable place. The ice cream is delicious, the venue is well decorated and the event staff was easy to work with - I did everything via email. The availability of a bar makes the event space even more unique for a childrens party so that parents can enjoy something as well.

They had three vegan flavors, coconut, chocolate, and peanut butter banana, and apparently rotate the flavors regularly. It was really tasty! Didnt get to try the vegan meringue since they were out, but its an option! Also, we watched a kids birthday that had a SPRINKLE SPRINKLER so what more can you need?

We had our daughters birthday party here. The ice cream was delicious. The kids loved the pizza from Colony, making the arts and crafts, and, of course, making their own ice cream sundaes, all by themselves. I would suggest following up on all details of the birthday party with the store. We never had a line-item bill or contract, and we were a little confused about what was going to happen and the pricing.

Yummy is all I have to say... they sometimes forget to smush the ice cream in the cone that mines completely fell off on the first lick... but luckily I have cat like reflexes...

Excellent ice cream! My girlfriend and I were searching the Westchester area for an ice cream shoppe besides my local Häaggen-Dazs so we could try something new. I came across the name of this business and, after reading some other good reviews, decided to give it a try.Well... The ice cream was delicious! The flavors are somewhat unique yet still basic but the taste is well above average. So far, weve back here numerous times and always get something different, whether it be a new flavor or a new special dish, and were always left satisfied and leaving with some pints for takeout.Even though its about a 25 minute drive, were always up for the trip for some great ice cream. I would recommended it.

Love this place, and the staff is great. Its a nice addition to the area, and Im excited to try to avocado ice cream next time I get a chance to go. Sadly the last time my friend and I went, the place was closed for a private event. We drove 20 minutes only to learn that we wouldnt be able to get any ice cream. Hopefully they dont close for a lot of private events on weekends, but make sure you check before you go!

I am a big fan of Mint Chip ice cream, but Bona Bonas Backyard Mintchip is the worst mint chip ice cream Ive ever had. When I went back to the counter after a couple of bites and told them it tastes terrible, the kid behind the counter said, yeah, we usually have people taste it before ordering that. I ordered a different flavor and they actually charged me a second time, which surprised me. Thats poor customer service. Coupled with the fact that you cant tell what flavors they have because the few labels on the glass counter are illegible, I have to say this ice cream shop does not live up to its reputation.

We used this venue recently to celebrate my daughter’s 5th Birthday. The staff were attentive and accommodating. They were friendly and engaging. Bona bona staff helped bring my child’s party to life. My adult guest enjoyed the many selections at bar And the ice cream for sale was spectacular. The cost of the venue was well worth it. My new favorite place.

Overrated. The prices are expensive but the portions are cheap. I had the waffle cookie dough sundae and the waffle/cookie dough portion was so bad I couldn’t finish it. To top it off is a very small scoop of vanilla ice cream, all for $11.

Yummy. There are lots of unique flavors and options. Theyll top your ic with flamed meringue, if you want it. The place is extremely clean and bright. We saw staff meticulously cleaning the sprinkle room after a party. Parking in the nearby mall is plentiful and free.

Great Ice cream- love the merengue topping and the flavors. I highly recommend the Italian rainbow cookie and the salted caramel. They also have season flavors (like Cadbury egg) which are amazing.

This shop is fantastic. Its walking distance from the Capitol theatre, right next to the movie theater, and an easy trip from the train station. Plus, theyve got some of the best, most homemade-tasting ice cream Ive had. The toasted merengue, made to order, seals the deal.

Cant stop recommending this place to friends. Awesome ice cream and creative flavors. A bit pricey but worth the splurge; local and no artificial ingredients.

The ice cream was very good, especially the contrast with Italian Meringue, which almost works like marshmallow. The quality is great. However, I didnt know how the line and ordering worked, so I wound up getting skipped once, and almost a 2nd, b4 I opened my mouth and the persons body language scurried...which brings it down to a 4.

Went for the first time and didn’t know what to expect. They had a good selection of tastes but did not have plain flavors like strawberry or chocolate (they did have vanilla though). The ice cream was a bit chewy and it was topped with marshmallow cream which was then torched, which was a nice touch. The place is nice decorated and has full or room. It does have different bar areas: one for ice cream, other for smoothies, etc. There is also a party room. Service was very friendly.

Have to post this bcs I know my friend won’t! Went to a bday party here and aside from great friends and fun company... it was a mess! Literally and not in the “sprinkle shower” of fun way! Floor was so slippery upon arrival of first guest that several kids fell and were hurt. There was no music or video screen as promised. Staff alerted, party continued with no music or video and was never turned on. Silence. Consistency is not key here, so if you have been to a party here before don’t expect it to be like your last. Last party was ice cream bowl with warm cookie or brownie, ice cream and loads of candy for creating own sundae. This party was ice cream in tall glass dish, no cookie or brownie. Not sure what has changed about the system, but like another commenter noted... make sure you speak to them about what is expected and get it in writing. Also noticed at both parties that staff is often absent while needed and not dedicated solely to the party you are paying for. If that is incorrect, it is how it appears. Maybe they needed a bigger margin on parties, but charge more and provide expected quality service and you will have happy (repeat) customers!

Every flavor is a winner

I dont know how is this ice cream at the actual shop, I ordered from Goldbelly. It did came frozen, so frozen . Every jar had its lid broken, completely broken through. Ice cream is so thick you can not eat it at all. I would not recommend it, you would not enjoy.

They have a variety of unique flavors like frosted animal cracker and Italian rainbow cookie. Any order can be bona-fied or topped with a toasted marshmallow. Theres a bar for the adults to enjoy while the kids get icecream and theres a party room. For any 90 Day Finance fans this store was featured in season 7.

Went to pick up cake and they never made it, the whole family was looking forward to it and it ruined the day. Not my first issue with Bona and their service. Won’t be going back here.

Great ice cream. The sundays are amazing and the seating area is big. They have a bar if you want a alcohol infused ice cream. Parking is kinda a pain.

The ice cream itself was very enjoyable, but my mom and I felt like the hot fudge was pretty much just warm chocolate syrup and the whipped cream wasnt very good. Other than that, we had a good experience.

First time here not much interaction from the staff on what to get or what to try. We got sundae to go. We were looking at all the cases and watching the employees making cones. All of a sudden the girl tells us we may want to sit its going to take a while ...a few minutes our order is being bagged up there were 4 containers to sundae size cups and two small cups. We get to the car and are suprised to see the brownie and her waffle in the big cup and one small scoup of ice cream in the small cup very very hard no whipped cream not much hot fudge or carmel ....ice cream yummy but a big disappointment. Sent a message to them through instagram no reply. We may try again but stay there instead of to go ....

VERY GOOD QUALITY ice cream, I could taste the freshness and quality of the ice cream on my first bite. When I took that bite I felt delicious flavors running through my mouth and then I felt the meringue which was more tha just the cherry on top. Staff is very friendly, place looks very clean and modern. My uncle loves their Ice Cream soo much he had to enter their first ever annual Ice Cream eating contest. He ended up winning, by eating 3.63 pounds of Ice cream. My sister was also their, she got 4th place by eating 2.35 pounds of ice cream (she was the only female there) In all this place is the best it has the best ice cream Ive ever had. The only thing flaw with this place is the price of the ice cream. If they put their price for the ice cream down even 1 dollar for the summer it would be PERFECTION.

Bad customer service. Waited 20 mins for a brownie Sunday because the workers were standing in the corner gossiping. My ice cream was all melted and my brownie wasnt warm anymore. Didnt even say sorry they forgot about our order and left it sitting there for 20 mins. OH and to top it off there was a HAIR in my brownie. So disgusting.

I found a piece of plastic in my ice cream that I could have choked on!! When I questioned the server what it was and tried to let him know about it, he was very rude and dismissive. A simple apology and statement saying he will ensure he does not serve this again would have been the correct reply.
