The selection is slim compared to other Aldi in the area. This particular time I was in this vicinity and needed to grab some flowers for the local nursing home. I was appalled at their flower selection but it gets worse. I had SLIM pickings but I grabbed a couple in hopes of putting some arrangements together. I figured I could use a FEW of the flowers 💐 and maybe they would give a discount. When I went to the cashier, she was visibly irritated when I asked for a discount. She then called the manager with an attitude, they snatched the flowers from me and said nope, cant discount these.. and THREW them in the trash 🗑 right in front of me! Can you believe? So youd rather throw them away then give a 5 percent discount and the rudeness of it all. I was appalled. Dont go here for a few reasons: Poor Selection compared to others in the area, Poor Customer Service, and rudeness. Go elsewhere, this Aldi is horrible. Never again. I simply drove to Meijer so my elderly friends could still have a few arrangements in hopes to cheer them up.

P.s: Cashiers need to be trained to haveAmazing value for money. Its not gigantic like other retailers because it doesnt needs to be. We love the fact we can get in, shop and get out within 10 minutes. Good range of groceries, food items and general merchandise.Just the right balance of products. One thing is for sure that there wont be a lot of impulse buying when here.

1st time going there. Interesting place with a variety of items. Most meat is vacuumed sealed and looks great.Its a weird shopping cart system and bring your own reusable bags.

Gotta love Aldi. Great prices, good selection, high quality items. Shelves are usually stocked very well, even during busy times. Employees are routinely cleaning and facing the aisles, aisles are free of obstructions, and the employees are always ready to assist. Regular shopper, Ill be back!

Clearly nicer than the ALDI in TR! Bigger and nicer selection of items. And holy cow one of the cashiers was super fast!!

Love shopping at Aldi. Always good prices on stuff. Only issue is the line to checkout. There is almost always only one cashier and the lines are absurd. However, with that being said, we always go back because we like the selection.

Love me some Aldi! Always find the prices to be great. Store is always clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Because you have to pay a quarter to use the carts (which you get back when you return), the parking lot is always cart free! Limited selection is only downfall, but overall very great!

It took me some time to become a fairly regular Aldi shopper, but now I definitely am. I particularly appreciate that they have the fastest checkout lanes in town, which is a real plus. My only complaint, a big one, is that several times I have bought something that I especially liked and wanted to purchase again, only to find that it had quickly disappeared from their shelves, never to reappear . This is extremely annoying and frustrating. Otherwise, its a great place.

Have to visit Aldis to get essentials for new apartment in a new town. Was nice to see familiar low prices. Loved seeing name brands too, like Tide, Korr, etc. Friendly staff and customers.

This location was clean, well lit, and has good prices. It is close by and the checkers are very nice. Also, they were patient with my mom while she pulled out her payment to pay for the groceries.

Like shopping here. I especially enjoyed the salads. Fig Newtons are pretty good too.

This store is so bright. Large selection. Love the house goods. Always something new. Been looking for a portable ice maker. Last place I would expect to find one. Whole pallet of them.

I shop at aldi and like the prices for milk and eggs. Back again at least 2 times a week. Great deals on most of the items they sell. They have a good selection of vegetables and fruits smaller selection of meats but at a descent price. They also have good prices on ice cream and ice cream bars. I think on the items they sell are cheaper than most grocery stores.they just dont have as many items to sell.

I love the store, the savings and quality of products BUT they need more than one Amigo for those of us who must use them.There is ONE per store and they truly NEED atleast TWO in busy stores.I might not have noticed before but when you cant LIFT, PUSH or PULL over 5 pounds, you quickly realize how important it is to have available.Please place a minimum of TWO in more populated areas. Thank you!

Wonderful store. It was super busy today. And they only had 2 checkouts open. So I waited about 20 minutes in the line.

Love the store and the no plastic bag thing. Grab a box and hull the stuff home in the box. The box is a great cat toy for the next week.One thing, the only thing, that I dont like is the way they throw the groceries in the cart at the check out. Often tossing fruit and bruising bananas, rough handling of my chips. I want chips not bits.Picture of the cat who gets the box.

I love the products of Aldi but today I had the worst experience. I asked two people near the fruit and vegetables to wear the mask and they refused. I reported to the manager and this guy did not approach them. After 10 min he was talking to another manager who was about to leave the shop and she said that they might have medical reasons for now wearing masks. In total 15 minutes passed without knowing the reasons why two people were next to fruit and vegetables without mask. I left the shop and called the local law enforcement number to report this. Its not a safe place to shop! We can all have different opinions and i understand that. But we should respect each other and if like me you got weak family members to protect you want to read this before shopping here again.

Aldi, one of best places to find good values, especially on organic.

Aldi. Its a store! Youll feel compelled to call it Aldis but it is just Aldi. The food is cheap and they have a lot of fancy diet friendly items. Their pantry section is the best. I havent had much luck with their produce as it seems to be fresh and green in-store then as soon as it enters your door its a rotten husk. I mean, it doesnt last long. I am also not a fan of their meat but my cousin buys it and has no problem so listen to her if you want cheaper meats. Oh, those cashiers are MACHINES too. Not literally.

One of my favorite things at Aldis is the German and other European products. Love me some stollen loaves and unusual pastas. Also the amazing cheeses!

Aldis has figured out how to make excellent value an every-day items. Super fast checkout, then bag your own - which I prefer over poorly bagged groceries. Plus the cost savings is passed on to the customer. The Aldi special finds have saved me money on gardening, kitchen, holiday, etc items! I have not found better value on dairy products anywhere!

This is a huge Aldi. It was super busy. The cashiers where working so hard. They got us all of out there with great service. Thank you!

This store does not enforce mask wearing. Witnessed 3 separate people not wearing and 1 when asked in line by other customers talked them in a circle while the person working the register did nothing. Where is theanagement in this store? This is how altercations happen.

They have good prices on most items. Good quality produce and groceries, but mostly store brands. Make sure to bring your own bags as they do not furnish free bags. You also have to bring a quarter for the carts which you get back when returned.

Best grocery store around. They have just enough variety. Sometimes they run out of something or they carry something for a month and it is gone. But the staples that most people need are stocked. Remember to bring a quarter to use the shopping cart and bring your own bags/boxes to bring your groceries home. Or pick up empty boxes as you shop and use those.

Will never shop there again....your store is out for the old mighty dollar and NOT the safety of your customers. We are in a pandemic and not one employee will tell those without mask to leave!!! I said something to a employee and was told they dont say anything because they dont want to lose a customer!!! You lost me and probably alot more as I read comments on the sight mask/no mask sight!!

Lots of good prices, but you have to keep an eye open for higher prices than other stores. Saved money going there for sure. Clean store, BUT make sure you take your bags because you have to pay for them, they dont keep boxes around.

Very happy with a store that has fresh affordable produce and labels that allows me to know where my food is grown! They are also seasonal in selection of a variety of food that is something original we look forward to returning to select. The store is very clean and well arranged. Five stars for saving money and good service!

Love the portage location!! However I really dont like that they took the clearance section away. I would go just for the clearance section and then end up spending even more money on other stuff I saw. Now I only go when I have to.

This store is great! Just started shopping here a couple of weeks ago on a recommendation from a friend, and now I kick myself for never going there before. Ive been very pleased with everything Ive gotten here and the amount you save over going to meijer is SUBSTANTIAL! Our family loves the take and bake pizzas, and I like their prices. The produce department always looks so nice. We only wish that the Philly Cheese Steak pizza was always available for the take and bakes. The guys love it

My wife and I love this place. We go to ALDI every week for our groceries. They have great prices, product, and customer service!! Just wish they could expand the store as it gets tight with the growing customer base. Keep up the awesome work ALDI!!
