Saw Monica yesterday at the Portage office she did an update on my hearing aids cleaned them and adjusted the volume they seem to be better time will tell. Always great service and never wait to long to be seen Monica rocks.

Arrived at 2:50 for a 3:00 appointment for my elderly mother. Didn’t get in until 3:40. My mother was very anxious and dissatisfied. On the flip side, Kristen did a wonderful job of handling the hearing aid adjustment. Mixed reaction to visit, but giving a 5 for Kristen. Hear Michigan needs to improve their process and commitment to the people they serve!

The tech was very thorough with the very first moment we arrived. She was attentive to my concerns, eager to remedy the concerns, and very knowledgeable in the cause and fix. I cannot be happier with the service of this place. Please consider this place for your hearing needs.

Too bad they aren’t as good at training their employees and staffing their offices with knowledgeable people as they are at advertising. I truly miss the personalized expertise of John Tecca in Portage. I have bought two hearing aides from this new company and they work but I find them more equipped to sell than service. In addition, they lack complete knowledge of the accessories that can be used with some of the hearing aides. I should not have to set here for three hours researching an accessory they’ve given me with no instructions and that I’m pretty sure will not work as promised with my hearing aides. Lyle is the only person I’ve interacted with that appears to know what he’s doing. Unfortunately he is in Portage very infrequently. The products they sell are top notch. They just don’t have staff members who can help with service and customer education of what they’ve bought.

What can I say about these wonderful people! The entire team is very professional and caring especially Dr Tecca. He is so humble and very knowledgeable, I dont know what I would have become without him; not only did he restore my hearing through a pair of an updated hearing aids but also he helped me find a way of paying them. He is super patient with my needs which are kind of different from other people with hearing issues, I will forever be indebted to him. It takes me two hours to drive to and from there but I would still do it if it took me 5 hours, thats how much I value their services.

Hearing Systems and Services was recommended to me by my doctor at U of M more than 20 years ago. Have always had prompt, compassionate help—and virtually no trouble ever with 4 different generations of hearing aids thanks to John Tecca and his friendly staff. Always send my friends to them!

LOVE my new hearing aids! I am a first timer and had a few issues the first couple of weeks, but thanks to Dr. Tecca and a tweak, am enjoying what the aids do for my hearing. Staff is very professional and friendly. I highly recommend this office!

Dr. Tecca (@ Hearing Services & Systems) was very patient in finding a suitable hearing aid for my curved ear canals. He answered all my questions, which I appreciated. Also he did not try to sell me a fancier, more expensive hearing aid than I need. I would highly recommend this audiologist.Dr. Tecca was let go shortly after I wrote this review. I do not recommend Hear Michigan.

The service that Dr. John Tecca and his staff provides is unparalleled! I literally travel from Florida to my hometown Kalamazoo to see them. They are that good! As a patient he listens to my questions and makes sure I am hearing as optimally as possible. He wont let you leave until you are happy!

BEWARE.Good reviews about John Tecca are correct. However this business has been sold and Dr. Tecca was let go. So check them out at your own risk.
