This place is great but the wood prices are sky high. Everything is going up with the wood. But the staff is friendly and willing to help you find what youre looking for.

The staff was once again helpful but seemed to not like being asked for help.

It could use some help if youre in there but overall good place for better than home Depot which everybody knows the story on that one

I cant really speak on the employees because every time I go I always look online ahead of time to see what Im going to get and where its going to be at what aisle and bin number Ive never really had to ask any questions to any of the employees with anything that Ive gone for but during checkout theyre polite other than that Home Depot Great Value great inventory always stocked

The employees dont know much, it is obvious that its just a job. I feel like they havent worked with half the stuff they are selling. Word of advice, find an older employee.

Although they may not have the biggest selection of home improvement items, tools, and garden supplies they are far from lacking in any of these departments. To add to their more that sufficient inventory the staff here is always friendly and ready to help when needed.

I came here for keys and the machine shut off mid cut. The guy was very nice and helpful but the other lady he was asking for help was super disrespectful to him. I get not all employees get along with eachother but this made me wanna slap her.

Mostly knowledgeable staff. Sometimes you just have to find the products yourself. Could do better with restocking/organizing stock on shelves. Tall guy named Rick in the garden section was extremely helpful!

This place is a Mess. Cant find a price for an item any more. The sheets of ply board ECT. Never can understand which size is what nor what kind buying. As well prices gone OVER BOARD. NOT FUN NOR MONEY SAVER ANYMORE. SALES ARE NOT WHAT THEY DO MUCH OF AND CANT FIND HELP THAT CAN BE OF HELP VERY OFTEN. JUST OK

First, i went across the street to Lowes, looking fora chest freezer. I didnt get much help there and the guy seemed reluctant to leave his station. Then I went across the street to home depot, looking for a chest freezer i saw online.A woman name Luz Didnt know exactly where the freezer I was looking for was at, but she was diligent and went out searching for it for me. She came out with it, exactly what I had been looking at. Its the kind of customer service you hope for. Ty Luz.

Terrible, didnt have what I needed,they didnt even have a 5 gal. home depot bucket!!!

I ordered a 7.5 cu. ft. Mini Refrigerator in Whiteby RCA. When it arrived I unboxed it and it had the drawer cracked the hanging trays some where broken, the foot was broken as well... Called customer service and the lady ended up telling I could not just get those broken items replaced that I would have to get a whole new one.. I paid again.. received it the next day. It also had some small damage but I didnt want to return it as well. It took a few days to get the damaged one picked up. I called back to ask about the refund. This is what made it a horrible experience... They had me on hold forever calls were dropped... Just to be on hold for like an hour to be told that I would have to wait longer than the lady had originally told me for my refund. I have always shipped at home depot.. but this experience has ruined it for me. I will be taking my business purchases elsewhere.

So yesterday 9/7/2020 I arrived at the store before 7pm. I went to buy a new washer and dryer and was there a bit over an hour couldnt get a representative to come and help me. There was a couple already waiting for a representative when they finally got helped, or were in the middle of getting helped the represented had to leave and didnt come back. That couple told a different representative, After they were tired of waiting for the first one. that they would come back some other time when someone would be available to help them. Unlike them I will not be back to the Porterville store. let me tell you there was hardly any customers at the store at that time.

Bought a huge swamp cooler & the employees were eager to assist loading into the truck! Senior citizen. Thanks again guys.

Great selection of everything you could need for your home. Good and frequent sales and clearances. Staff knowledgeable and helpful with shopping and project needs. Wide aisles make shopping with big stuff in your cart easy. Bonus: Plenty of electric carts for folks who need them to shop.

We love our local Home Depot. We needed help with details about 2 fans we need for the updating of our home. The gentleman that helps us cleared up so many questions we had! We didnt get his name, but it was Sunday, Feb. 23 around 11ish and he was one of the most helpful associates we have ever worked with! Great job, Home Depot! We will definitely be back!

Yeah, no. Employees are like elves...if you see them? They disappear. The usual Plumbing department gentleman was assigned to Paint Department. After 45+ minutes they didnt have the item I needed- though according to his hand held device it was showing 4+ in stock. Mind you, I had a Plumber waiting at my home.Left Home Depot and went to Lowes- approximately 15 minutes later had what I came for and was on my way back home! Thank you to, Don in Plumbing!!Lowes for the Win. I will only patronize Lowes from here on out.

The do have the cleanest bathrooms I have frequented. They have become very automated so there are fewer cashiers to help you. I would rate their customer service as fair but you can find almost anything.

Layout can be confusing, staff doesnt understand home improvement. Asking for drywall tape should not be confusing.

They had what I was looking for which was to rent a spray paint gun. The price was reasonable and the machine was in great condition. I had no problem while using it and would use it again if I needed to. The person who helped me was friendly and answered all of my questions in detail. Would recommend it to anyone who is looking to buy or rent tools.

What needs to be said about Home Depot,? This place has everything you could possibly need and more! The only challenge is sometimes finding a knowledgeable employee. But if you do find one he seems to know everything! And very very helpful in helping you if what you need, I like the big Isles and the organization of products. The checked out is usually quick and a lot of times Ill go through the nursery register which seems to be a little quicker. If you need something or anyting in your life, go to Home Depot, you will find it

Out of some items I was looking for and difficulty finding associates to help.

Needed to pickup an online order, only one person workin with both returns and online orders. There was other person at the door doing nothing. Only after the person working in returns told her to move she did. Where was the manager, who knows.

They usually have what I need

This location is close to my home & the staff is friendly. however Ive been to several Home Depot stores, its frustrating that this location doesnt have the same merchandise other locations have. I have been to this store week after week finding the same items out of stock, the same shelves not organized with merchandise out of place. All of that being said I would still recommend this location.

Home Depot is Home Depot; great store and place to go when you need to get things fixed. Today was an exception when I went to get old school swamp cooler tubing and they didnt have it. They had newer spider tubing that i would have to rig up and convert which i didnt want to do haha. Plus, it took about 20 minutes to get someone to come over and help us even after I asked for help.

Someone, allegedly a female manager, just had a totally harmless woman living in her car arrested as a thief, although she was taking just some recycling from a trash barrel. The woman, had her car impounded and she cannot pay the fee. She has been trying to make ends meet by recycling. Her car was in the impound lot for several days due to the Nov 11 holiday, no one available to get it out for her. This is unfair of Home Depot and that should NOT be the policy. Ask them to be removed, yes, arrested...no!
