This store is clean, well stocked and easy to navigate. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They have an excellent produce section, as well as very nice deli and bakery. A very good place for one stop grocery shopping.

Save Mart is a store Very high pricing BUT THE STORE, THE EMPLOYEES, THE PRODUCTS, THE CHOICES OF EVERYTHING ARE THAT AT ONE IN A MILLION AND THEY ARE THAT 1. GREAT PLACE TO SHOP, PROFESSIONAL COURTEOUS KNOWS THE PRODUCTS, WHERE THEYRE AT AND CHECKING OUT IS ALWAYS BEEN EASY AND QUICK. Great staff, great selection. Love the fresh produce and meat quality is awesome. Add in the bakery where Roger is whipping up all sorts of yummy treats and the fresh deli meet fresh cut to order and you get the best supermarket in the county. Porterville Save Mart is hands down my favorite place to buy groceries. So, if you havent already, head down and check em out. They might be your new favorite to!

They are wonderful, but they stopped carrying my Delight Caramel Macchiato Iced Coffee. Bring it back!!!

The store its self is great. The deli however not so much. Ive ordered several sandwiches over the month of June and each and everytime its made wrong or completely uneatable. Im done waisting my money for wrong orders or rock hard bread. Sorry savemart! Step it up!!

I do Instacart orders there and they always help me. The staff is always in a good mood. Never long lines because they open a register to get ppl out in a timely manner. I didnt really shop there before but now its where i go for great deals and fresh food.

As always nice and clean! I like how the bulk items are pre bagged. They had a sale on hamburger meat today for 2.99 a pound. And I picked up a beautiful red velvet cake

Save Mart in Porterville has the best local produce selection. They also have a large variety of Organic produce to. They seem to be well stocked on all the essentials and typically multiple cashiers are working to make your trip quick and easy. Unless its the holidays but during that time I guess its normal to wait no matter where you shop.

Found everything we needed and prices were ok. I would rather shop here than the local Walmart.

There wasnt a lot of staff interaction except for one person asking us if we were good or looking for something but they wouldnt take no for an answer. Other than that everything was as expected.

Very courteous and helpfull. However it may interest you to know your liquor stock is to close to your door. We say an anglo grab and go. Reported this but nothing could be done. Suggest a wall to go around or move stock where more traffic.

Savemart is always a great place to shop for groceries. Upon entering youll see hand sanitizing stations and wipes for your shopping carts to ensure your cleanliness. Their produce is top picked and always very fresh. The fresh meat selections are the best in town and always at a great price and that is why I always come back to Savemart.

Love this place. I have been shopping here for many, many years. In these troubling days there is always someone sanitizing the shopping carts now. The staff consistently ask if they can help find anything, and they carry a lot of items I dont find anywhere else. The produce, cheese selection, and meat dept are all great, as is their Fried chicken. (We rarely buy KFC anymore! Seriously.) Good job Savemart.

Really expensive, I had some difficulty finding a decent pack of family steak for a good price. Spent a lot of money but only got a little bit of food.

It has everything for a grocery. It also has a lot of holiday decorations.

We normally go there to get everything we need but today we couldnt find any frozen beef meatballs and they didnt have any chicken wings as well. I dont understand why the stores are having such a hard time with keeping everything in shock. I can understand at the start of it but its been almost two months and they are still having problems keeping stuff in the stores around here cause it aint just Save Mart its every store in this town.

This place is overpriced, especially the deli. Their macaroni and potato salads are not store made they use the stuff in the box from Reesers. They also do not set the temperatures correctly to the refrigerators. Its caused a lot of meats and dairy products to spoil. And guess what guys, you are buying them at full price. I would use a lot of caution shopping here. But this is Porterville. There isnt much to choose from here.

Love the selection every isle has to offer. Great variety, fresh produce and helpful associates. The deli is always packed with the freshest made food and ingredients. Love the soup station to. Makes for a perfect quick grab for lunch. The rotisserie chickens, oh my- so good!!!!

This grocery store remarkable in their multitude of choices in all departments! Meat is excellent, way better than the other markets in town as is the produce department. Bakery and Deli have yummy foods. The store is very clean. The employees friendly and very helpful. Their flower and plant section quite varied and of good quality. I could go on but you get the idea. Prices are good also with sale prices great buys.

The staff there is awesome. They always take good care of me. The butcher today even cut me a steak today. It was the best steak I ever had. Thank you for the great service

My FAVORITE STORE

It has a nice selection of foods and things. However, it had regular mangos for 5.99 each the organic ones were even more ! The very next morning at Smart & Final regular mangos were 1.25 each. And thats the way Ive found most of there prices on the things they did have in stock. Also some of the sesame sticks snacks you can by any amount youd like, ANYONE with a working nose could smell those things were very VERY rancid. I thought I would vomit on the floor right then. Their staff was extremely friendly and helpful enough so to counter the prices they charge if you need lots of help-they ARE worth it.

Always a great store to visit, the prices are slightly higher but the customer service and cleanliness is well worth a couple more cents. As well the bakery is always fully stocked with amazing selection of cakes and they always have beautiful flowers.

I got all our barbeque necessities for a wonderful meal! Portobello cap sliders on Kings Hawaiian rolls, Adeles roasted garlic and gruyere sausages with carmelized onion and Porto stems on top, original mac salad from the Deli and the topper...Gisler Farms yellow corn! Everything but the corn was from Save Mart and it was DELICIOUS!!!

This Savemart has the best bakery and deli section Ive seen. Store was clean and I like that they have a person outside wiping each cart down as its returned.

The biggest comment I can make, is that whoever is running this place as the manager is doing an excellent job with his employees I needed to interact with 5 different employees while I was there. And each time they exceeded my expectations and most likely their managers expectation the next three people I talk to I had to tell them what interesting and great time I had shopping at this Save Mart. If I lived in this city, I would only go shopping here!!! What a joy it is to go somewhere where you are giving them money and you are happy to do it.

We love shopping at our local Save Mart. The people who work here are super nice and very helpful. I worked for Save Mart in the 90s and loved it I wish I never quit.

They make really good cakes and have a wonderful delicatessen. The prices are sort of high priced there but their quality makes up for it. I shop there sometimes because of the huge beer selection there and they know how to pay their employees good. The better Market of Porterville

The bakery was top notch. They even held a birthday cake for us, until dinner because we were from out of town. Great customer service and friendly.

Went in to buy waters and used restroom. Completely disgusting. Toilette paper everywhere except on the rolls. Two empty ones. Toilette hadnt been flushed because toilette handle was broken. Sanitary seats protectors were shoved in dispenser, unable to remove without ripping them. Floor was so dirty that it actually looked muddy. Not sure if it was cleaned at all this day and it 6:45 at the time. The rest of the store always seems great

Best store in town. The store is well stocked and clean. Their is always some to help you when you need them.

If you value your life and the life of your family, do not go into this store. Day before Mothers Day, I needed food and cards. The store was crowded with over half of the patrons without masks. Few paid any attention to social distancing. Over half of the many staff were without masks. I watched as my unmasked grocery bag girl talked to an unmasked customer who stood less than one-foot from her. She then proceeded to bag my food with possibly covid-19 infected hands. The aisles in the store are two way and crowded. No escape from the people without masks or awareness that they might have the virus and be asymptomatic. I wondered if my groceries and gifts would infect my family instead of bring them joy. The social distancing marks on the floor by the registers were no help when customers cut through the crowd crossing the front of the store. There was no evidence of any staff in this store taking precautions or helping their customers to remain healthy. This was the last trip I will ever make to a SaveMart, ever again. Other stores in Porterville, like Food4Less, Walmart, and Smart and Final are much safer. They take precautions and have set up procedures. SaveMart is a death trap. The thousands of people going through the store on a weekend only need to have one person infected in the store to be exposed to infection. It doesnt matter if the staff had their temperature taken at the start of the shift. They could still have the virus in the early stages and have no symptoms but be giving the virus to customers. I hope that no one gets the virus from this filthy place but I fear that is a fools hope.

Great deli, best looking produce around, good seafood selection, good meat too. All around good place for groceries, flowers, and even a quick lunch. Almost forgot the beer and wine... not the cheapest grocery store in town but good sales and high quality make up for the small price difference imo.

When I was there today it was pretty busy but the checker that checked out my groceries was not very friendly. Im a friendly person but he wouldnt even talk to me when I asked how his day was going. Otherwise I would have given more stars.

A month and a half ago we ordered a cake for my sons birthday. The morning of our scheduled 10am pickup I receive a call at 8am that I miss from savemart. I call back 15 minutes later and it rings through 3 times that they refuse to answer. When I arrive at 10 the cake is not ready and Im advised that they cant make the their employee set up a month and a half ago. I can accept a mistake but then the bakery employee gives me an attitude over their screw up. While I sat and waited for a cake I didnt order the next customer came in and they screwed up her order as well. I will never be back and you should stay clear of savemart bakery.
