Some of the live seafood was not alive, or looking unwell; which was surprising, because everything else in the meat and seafood department looked excellent, as did the produce.This store has a fantastic selection to browse, and many options for whatever you happen to be looking for.I would have given 5 stars if not for the (not so) live seafood.

Great place to stock up on essentials and there is an awesome selection of seafood!! The produce section could be a little fresher... there were some old items, some even rotting. Overall, you cant beat the selection!! Plus, there are food kitchens/restaurants where you can get Ramen and plate lunches.The bathroom (womens one) was clean and tidy. It could use a little remodeling, but the main thing it was clean.H-Mart is a must stop if youre in the area!!

Sooooo much variety. I love this place. I stocked up on spices and noodles etc. Things I cant get in my town. Tried some wonderful drinks I am now hooked on. Dang it, though, because now I have to wait until I visit Portland again. Great store.

They have some groceries that American grocery store doesnt carry. Today (9/12/21), I spent about $150 -28 items. My grocery did not fit in my canvas bag, so I bagged (yes, they expect you to bag your groceries) them in their brown paper bag. As I reached for the second bag, the cashier, Cristian (per receipt, Im unsure if this is her name since she did not have her name tag, and she and her manager refused to provide her name, no one wears their name tag in that store.) became angry. She interrupted me by putting her hand over the pile of the brown bags and rudely shouted at me, something about I must pay with badly broken English in Spanish Accent. I was speechless. I told her she could ask politely. I also told her that charging me for one bag was unacceptable since I bagged all my groceries. Then, another Hispanic clerk ganged up on me and attempted to harass me. I asked for the supervisor. The supervisor stuck up for her subordinate and chose to refund me instead of compromising with a simple apology- she had to go through with all 28 items. The supervisor then called me a loser when I refused to take her order and put the cart back. I asked her name, but she rudely refused- according to my returned receipt, it showed, Hye Shin. I asked for the managers name and number; she just gave me H-Mart general business card without anybodys name.From now on, whenever I have cravings for those groceries that I wasnt able to get today, I will block it with todays horrible experience and what I witnessed within Tigard H-Mart a month ago; leaking ceiling and their kitchen employees re-use disposable gloves- by leaving them on the bathroom counter, and put them back again without washing their hands. This place is terrible.

You can get Chinese, japanese and lots of Korean goodies. Tons of options in the fresh food section. Only down side is that some items are missing a price tag. No price to be found

This place is so great. Visited today for the first time at 530pm and it was pretty quiet not too many customers which made it really nice to look around. SO MUCH TO LOOK AT. If you love asian food or looking for a new place to go this is it. Ive been to 82nd Fubon in Portland and thats okay. I also travel to Uwajimaya in Beavorton and let me tell you H MART is larger than that. Definitely worth the visit. The bakery is so wonderful. The people are nice. We also got the satay chicken to go from the restaurant thats inside. It was 10 dollars but that sauce was to die for.

An amazing variety of rice cookers, fresh produce, fish, dried seafood, spices, and including a large frozen section with regional specialties like natto. Also store made Korean favorites and several small restaurants set up inside the store space. Clean, well lit, and well stocked store.

A large Korean market that gives Koreans a bad name. A vast variety of Asian products and ingredients. However, prices have not been updated for months. Watch the prices when you ring them up. I was charged 50% more for a product than the shelf price. $5 -> $8 Ridiculous! Customer service will refuse to honor their shelf prices. Horrible!

The biggest problem is that they dont display the prices on each items. They have only one price check machine somewhere in the store but its very too hard to take every items to check on that machine. I know there are a lot of problems in economy right now so prices are getting higher but they raised double prices on a lot of items. I compared with other Korean stores and its so obvious that they raised prices too much. Its ripped off. Makes me feel dont want to buy there anymore.

Great place for your korean goods. Always lively and has everything you would expect. Also has a good section for kitchen stuff. Always come after work on sundays to grab some food on the drive back home.

Went t H Mart today to look for Filipino items. The rest of SE Asia seems to be well represented but didn’t find much from the Philippines. Could find dried dish, canned spicy tuna, and other items.The store is very well organized and had a lot of other food items that we recognized. Ended up getting 2 bug bags of groceries to take home

Don’t shop at this location. They are rude, disgusting and disrespectful to customers. Save your money and go somewhere else that’s has better services and treat customers better. Every single customer service ladies here sucks and they need to be fired and replaced.

They have sales sometimes which is why I go here, a dollar section would be nice but unfortunately they dont have one 😕

Excellent selection of Asian grocery goods, above-average produce, and affordable prices. Uwajimaya is still the tops in the meat department, but H-mart isnt far behind. If I lived close by Id be there much more frequently.

H-Mart routinely has all the items we are looking for. The house made kimchi and other side dishes are pretty hard to beat. The Ramen isle is a bit chaotic, but it kind of forces you to find some new choices.

Good variety of vegetables that you wouldnt find at Safeway or Walmart. Different kinds of bananas/ plantains. Feel like you are in an Asian city. Meat and seafood section can use an upgrade

This place is so cool! Do not go in here hungry! Lol I went with a friend whos a chef and she was able to describe how to cook some of the fruits and veggies, and also explained a lot of the sauces and seasonings. Im so glad she went with me. We spent 2+ hours just looking around and I brought home so many things for my kids to try. It was an incredible experience. Highly recommend going and buying some new things youve never tried before! Definitely an adventure!

Very fun Asian market to go to if youre bored. Its like stepping into a place like Japan when you walk in. The store even has some Asian radio channel that they play. Really feels foreign! Great selection of cool food Asian food as well. Fun place to go.

The products of the store are the reason I go. Customer Service was RUDE!!! I asked for help and was walked away from by 3 separate employees. At the register I used my EBT card and the cashier literally laughed at me and shook her head when I paid. Im not proud to have an EBT card. But to be laughed at and shake her head at me was belittling. There was a separate total for non EBT items which I am aware of. I asked what the total was (I left my reading glasses in the car) she laughed and said and I quote Yes, you have to pay, its not free because you have EBT. Its embarrassing to have and use an EBT card. If youre using one I suggest going to 99 Ranch Market or Uwajimaya. Im embarrassed to have to share that I have EBT but Im trying to save others from being humiliated. P.S. there was another customer behind me that heard everything.

This is my go-to place for Korean food shopping, and there is a wide selection of ingredients from other Asian countries. Even if you dont do much Asian cooking you will love the beautiful, high-quality fresh produce, seafood and meat.

Good place. Found lots of Korean food along with other international food. Some supplies change depending on when they run out or what they get. Its always nice finding things I ate in Korea and sometime more variety 😁

Honestly love this place. This is the place to go for korean food. Huge and clean. Go earlier in the day and you can get some freshly-made package food. Bibimbap, pig ear, kimchi dumplings, other fried food and rice dessert. Their bakery always smells like diabetes (in a good way)

I have been going to this store for many years and spent a lot of $$ their. I especially like their meats. It is hard for me to find such high quality. The prices are OK There is one thing that I dont like and that is their services. Look around and see if you can find a smile on any employees. Even the ones that used to be happy and were smiling are not. I have a feeling the owner is not treating them well. I will stop going to this store if this continues. I want them to be treated well and get what they deserved.

Love going here! Great meat sele tin. We loved the baby back ribs plus so many other things. Fun shopping there. Oh and we stocked up on our favorite rice blend too. I never say no to a road trip there.

This place is THE place for off-cuts and rarities. Beef hearts, whole rabbit, wagyu, sushi grade everything. Crazy good pricing too! Definitely recommend this spot!

Lovely market and everything is so fresh! All the breads and pastries taste like they just came from the oven, veggies are fresh and the seafood is wonderful. Great selection of little odds and ends and kitchenware as well.

Great Korean market! I buy many vegetables and other items here. Fantastic mushroom and pepper assortments. Several types of kimchee when I dont feel like making it at home.

Ive been going to this particular H mart for years, and it has never disappointed. This location is always very well stocked and I know I can come in and get a good deal on produce for almost any meal Im making for the week. I also started getting a lot of my house wares from here recently, and everythings been of great quality. The store is always very clean and I feel comfortable shopping here even during the pandemic. The employees are always very helpful and efficient in their work and I always know the checkout experience at the end of my visit will be a good one.

Love this place! My partner and I can spend hours in here just roaming the aisles and looking at all the fun different Asian ingredients. The store is always super clean and the staff is friendly when checking you out. Great selection of fruits and vegetables with lots of exotic ones to try. they also have a pretty extensive fresh seafood section. Dont forget your sweatshirt, if you spend an hour in here like me you might need it!

Still able to purchase most items I need but prices have gone up significantly. For example, a pack of short ribs that I used to buy for $21 is now about $45 per pack. I bought a bigger bottle of kimchee base for $9.99 when previously it was $7.99. Since the pandemic, prices at most stores have gone up so I dont believe its just this particular store.

Love this Korean grocery store. Its like being in Korea. They have a restaurants inside to eat Korean foods. Because of covid the restaurant. think they only do take out now. If you are looking for ingredients to make Korean foods this place has it. 85% of the foods are Korean but this place also has other Asian foods like Chinese and Japanese.

My wife loves shopping here. Its the equivalent of home depot for her. Im just along for the ride. They always have a great selection of food. It reminds her of growing up in Seoul.

The bakery is reallyyyyy good. My favorites are the Chocolate Cream Puff Bread(has a LOT of chocolate filling) and the Sausage Donut(honestly just absolutely delicious). They also have a variety of snacks and drinks. 10/10😌

One of the best asian markets in the area. Tons of fresh produce with lots and lots of choices. They have food products from all over Asia which is nice as it adds lots of choices to whatever you are looking for. They also have a lot of fresh seafood with a very large fish counter. They also carry like 40 - 50 kinds of rice. So you will probably find wherever you need at this market.

A nice Korean store with a lot of asian food ingrediants that I dont know much about them. They have a kitchen appliances section as well. They carry some awesome persian pastry you can find it in the open fridges where the rice sacks are. Would recommend this store to all.

I was really surprised when I went into H Mart a few weeks ago. I was looking specifically for Ramune soda drinks for my sons birthday party, but as no one seemed to carry them. H-Mart had a massive selection of pretty much any flavor I could want. Plus the price was very good. The store has a huge selection of house wares, foods, fresh/ live fish and it was nice and clean too. I will come here again!

Great store with fantastic resurants inside! However only downside is if you pay with cash at the store checkout they cant give u all your change back as they dont have coins.

They have all the white people go crazy for Asian treats. Like the sodas with the glass balls. Poki sticks in so many flavors. And the seafood so fresh its still moving in the packaging
