Helpful staff, especially the outgoing lady with the beautifully rendered shades of purple and lilac hair. I found everything thats needed for my monthly hair refresher. Colors, bleach and developer were in ample supply. Tho the applicator brush was out of stock, it was easily forgiven as the nice purple haired associate offered an applicator bottle with an attached comb to dispense bleach and hair color with less fuss & muss. How cool & well prepared to have offered an alternative!
The people that work here are always friendly and willing to help, the manager is a rockstar! Very helpful at helping to find what products I need.
The ladies there gave me advice to give myself one of the best at home color jobs Ive ever done on myself. It wasnt easy either, I had bleach and then use three different colors. If they hadnt helped me I think it wouldve gone very badly. Thank you!
They were super nice few months ago lady who helped us told us “oh yeah if you hate this product or ANY product you use doesn’t matter if it’s empty or what we return it within 60 days” and that’s your policy I’m assuming? Well I returned the shampoo and conditioner my gf didn’t like and barely used a pump of each and lady was super rude to me just didn’t even say a word wants to argue with me about a phone number associated with the account that’s on the receipt and then hands me the money and doesn’t say a WORD I’m like HAVE A GREAT DAY NOT A PEEP DONT BE SO RUDE YOU ARE WORKING CUSTOMER SERVICE KAREN 😘
Although they carry a lot of products, they didnt have the one item I came for. I will keep checking back.

Shelves are super(!) Empty - I asked when they would have a specific product back in stock she said she didnt know but that she thought it was ordered. Then showed me the backroom that was ceiling high with boxes and said that even if they did have it it was probably somewhere in that giant mess of probably over 100 boxes. Dont waste your time driving here like I did. Wont be back. Employee was super nice and helpful but Im assuming they need better management shelves shouldnt be that bare and boxes should be unpacked on delivery days. Not the best way to do a business.
I went in there knowing nothing about bleaching my hair, the employee there was so so helpful! I didnt catch her name but she was amazing. She walked me through everything I had to do and showed me what products she recommended. She even wrote instructions down for me on a sheet of paper to take home :^) She had long dark hair and eyeliner. Sally Beauty if you read this please give her a raise she saved my day

I live in Vancouver and do NOT like the Sally’s close by.. she was so patient and positive and honest in helping me navigate the issue of finding an alternative to tips for my acrylic nails.I have always had a good experience at this store. I really like this store! I just visited this location for the first time and walked out certain that I will be returning. Ive worked the retail gig, so its without shame that i say i pick out the little things... and it never fails; those little things dictate whether or not I approve# of my personal experience at a store. This store had minimal staff but they remained friendly and engaging with customers. The floors were clean and the aisle shelves were stocked. So well! In the way of being full and faced, and being easily readable for those of us just browsing our way around. This may just be my favorite Sally location!! Cheers!
I literally drove by the other day and there was a sign on the door that said temporarily closed, I look online today to find a different one that is open and I clicked on this one just to see if it was the same one cause it says it’s open and it is, yet when I drove by it said temporarily closed, I just wanna know if it’s open or if it’s closed?!
Before I went to this store, I read the reviews. They are simply awful, but it was the closest one, so I went there anyway. What a huge mistake that was! The lone clerk was far too busy yakking it up with a couple of her buddies to even notice my existence. I picked up the product I went there to buy; I needed two of them, but there was only one on the shelf, so I walked up to the register to ask if they had more. This (fill in the blank) literally couldnt be bothered because she was too busy discussing how her buddy was going to braid her hair for her. I put the product back and walked out. Never again! If I could give it a lower rating, I would.
Is it a policy to have such rude, disrespectful people work there? I once rated this place 5 stars and boasted about how well I was treated.Until tonight. Where over the phone I was spoken to with a major attitude and disrespect.Made a purchase last night, was told to hold on to my receipt in case I didnt like it or there was a problem.I phone there this evening only to be told that I cant exchange it or return it.And that basically, Im a liar and its impossible is what I was told.Yet, back of my receipt says exchange or in store credit with original receipt within 60 days of purchase.So, I guess maybe the associate who helped me at great length last night is wrong. And the policy printed on the back of the receipt is wrong. But this snarky disrespectful woman on the phone is right?Awesome. So I will bring my purchase back tomorrow, I will get my money back for it all. Including the unopened items that I bought along with it. Then take my money and go elsewhere.Maybe you can teach your employees the actual protocol and decency along with respect and courtesy.Oh, and what the proper policy is.CLIPPER BLADES CANNOT BE RETURNED! Awful customer service! Very angry floor asscoiate. Who only helps on her own terms. I will assume the management does not care, that she treat customers poorly, as i have seen several reviews. The manager is rude and also does not offer great customer service herself ( It is the same manager there). I have contacted corporate. It will depend on how they handle the situation, to whether I return to Sallys at all or take my business elsewhere.
CUSTOMER service or LOSS PREVENTION??? suspicious employees, wasn’t welcomed nor did I feel welcomed, a returning CUSTOMER but this was the worst visit I’ve encountered. I thought it was my social anxiety /sketchy area NOPE definitely had to do with bringing my pink purse size backpack into the establishment not to steal but because I couldn’t trust the area to leave it in my car whole other story... they follow your every move, pick something up put it back they’re right there counting to make sure you did so. Pretty much breath down your neck and when not doing that they are on those cameras in the back room they stand at the end of the isles and spy like watch dogs lol I was so uncomfortable and confused as to why I’m a paying customer but felt like I had committed a crime. They even ignored other customers questions just to keep eyes peeled for theft. Everything is marked up they so far have not given me reward points I’ve been a PAYING customer for 4 years. Thought about leaving my bag at check out but no one even cared about the UNATTENDED register desk. Disappointed lost a paying customer
Terrible customer service from the older woman manager with short blonde hair named Marilyn. I went in with a list of items I needed to purchase. No one asked me if I needed help finding anything. I couldnt find one if the items I was looking for so I had to walk to the front where a young girl was there but didnt have any customers. She showed me where the item was and the the older blonde woman came out from the back and stayed in the hair color aisle I was in not asking if I needed any more assistance. Instead she continued to stand about 3 to 4 feet away at all times and pretend like she was straightening boxes on the shelves but she was clearly watching me like a hawk with everything I picked up to look at & read. I had to ask her about one product I needed but didnt have on my list it was the Olaplex dupe by Ion. I bought the box she showed me. I got a couple of more items and decided to check out. I wanted to shop for skincare & hair masks but I was tired of her acting like I was stealing. When I got home I realized that the Ion box I bought that she showed me was a Step 1 and needs to be followed by the Step 2 which she never told me about. Terrible sales woman & terrible rude customer service from this lady.
My experience here today was good. The racks are always in order, products stocked, and the store is clean. They had everything I needed, the blue haired employee (didnt catch her name) was very informative & helpful and I plan on using the products she helped me decide to get again :) she should be the manager, honestly. I must add that the woman with the blonde hair that treats EVERYONE like theyre stealing, and is absolutely clueless shouldnt be working there. DONT WORK CUSTOMER SERVICE IF YOU DONT LIKE CUSTOMERS, AND SERVICING THEM. SIMPLE.
This location has really awful customer service. Very unfriendly environment. You will not get the help you need, unless YOU approach the worker and very limited at that. I would recommended the Gresham location.They areSome what better. At least they approach you to help you out.

AWFUL. The girl at the front was so rude and unhelpful. I have never experienced such poor customer service. Do yourself a favor and go to the Clackamas location, so you leave feeling happy and not crappy!
I was in the store shopping for supplies. I found the customer serivice excellent; the store clean and well organized; and the location is easy to to access inn Eastport Plaza.
I hope that not all Sallys Beauty stores have awful customer service like they have here... I tried to return my item and the manager of the store (with short blonde hair and glasses) lied to me that I cant return it. She was very rude to me. After I talked with customer service by phone and they told her to give my money back on a card, she didnt even apologize that I spent 1 HOUR!!! at the store to figure that all out by myself.
In the past, I felt like Sally’s customer service was lacking. Yet, as of a few months ago the employees have been friendly and very knowledgeable!
Awefull experience, racist cashier old lady with short orange strawberry blonde, dry/curly hair, about 380-390 lbs, maybe 5ft 4in. She did not ask the other customer (Caucasian) if she needed help she only asked me... Hmmmmm I wonder why, just aweful experience I will not spend my well earned money at this store. People like her should not be in customer service, but yet again it looks like this is the best she can do, career wise.Based on other reviews I will go to the one in clackamas.
