Hannah and Stuart were both great. They didnt push anything on me that was outside my budget and made it as easy as possible to try out all options and had helpful advice for comparison.Price is on the expensive side... but its worth the quality of service!

Only my second experience at River City. Their professionalism and turnaround time was awesome. Given the current COVID concern, I was amazed they were able to install a new set of hydraulic brakes in just a couple of days. Tech was super friendly. COVID protections in place kept me out of the shop proper, but they have a groovy system for allowing you to continue to shop via their website with willing folks to run your selections outside to you. Will definitely be going back to this shop.

I bought my first bike this summer to help pass the time during the pandemic. I cant say enough about their customer service and willingness to help. Im not 💯 sure if someone tampered with my bike the night before but I called River City and they told me to bring it so they could look at it. They were friendly and patient but basic questions I had about the bike.They also helped my fiance when the e-bike he ordered from a random company wasnt working right. My fiance had to call around as most bike stores refused to even look at it if it wasnt theirs. River city fixed it and charged reasonable prices.I would highly recommend River City for all your bike needs. You really get the sense that they want to do everything to keep you on the road.

The clerk was friendly and gave a good deal, but I paid an expert to mount my tire with new tube onto my trike, only to have him do so incorrectly and scratch the paint on my $300 trike. How does an expert not know how to properly put the wheel retaining washer on with the tire?

Hayes and the team at RCB we’re super helpful throughout my shopping experience. They went above and beyond to make sure I had the right setup, and took extra care of me when it was ready to ride!

I went in three times in three days and the level of service was consistently great each time. The saleswoman who sold me the bike, the tech guy who helped me pick out fenders and a rack, and the blonde guy (Stu?) who was there when I picked up my bike were more like friends helping another friend than salespeople who just wanted the sale. Great products, and superior service. Highly recommended

This Belmont location is just around the corner from their main store. I came here for the great selection of steel gravel/road bikes (Surly, and others). The staff was super helpful and worked with me to explore options and make a final decision. The gear, accessory, and apparel inventory is pretty sparse, but that’s what the main RCB store is for.

This is a good spot for bikes, bike accessories, expert advice, and bike maintenance service.On this visit I bought a rear rack for my bike, and some clear cycling glasses. One of the people who works there talked me though rack options for my bike.All in all it was a helpful and constructive experience.

Ive gone to a lot of bike stores and River City Bike Outlet is definitely my favorite. The people that work there are really helpful, really nice, will explain things to you, tell you about great trails, give you honest reviews on their merchandise and other bike gear. And also they are really reasonably priced.

The staff at River City Bicycles is amazing! My bike was stuck near their outlet store after a negligent cyclist locked my brake cable to a rack with their bike, leaving me stranded. I asked for help at River City, and without waiting a beat a friendly staffer liberated my bike and installed a new brake cable for me! Not only did I get my bike back, but I got a free brake adjustment too!I bought my bicycle from the outlet over a year ago and already loved the free brake and gear adjustments included with the purchase. This favor further increased my regard for their service.

I found a bike that was a couple years old here Nd got it for about half of the current model - major difference? Less fancy paint.Great service from crew, particularly Jeff who just helped me gratis when I brought it in with squeaky breaks. He just took it right away and fixed it with a smile. Thanks guys!

Amazing crew here. I bought my bike here a year ago and have been so pleased. To top it off, I came in today because my chain broke off. They helped me to relize my chain hadnt just broke, parts had been stolen off my bike. They were so sympathetic and replaced my gear free of charge on labor and with discounted parts. These guys are amazing!

Bad experience, I walked in looking for a new trail bike when there were only a couple of other people shopping, and several staff guys were hanging around the front desk doing nothing. No greeting, no offer of assistance, nothing, not even when I was taking down bikes myself to get a better look at them. The only people they acknowledged and offered assistance were the 2 attractive women who came in the shop. Will not give them my business, they definitely didnt act interested in it.

Unbelievably awesome customer experience. In the search for a mountain bike, I spent nearly all day with associate Lisa at their main store on MLK, looking at, talking about, and trying out mountain bikes. I went to the Belmont location to try out one model there, and was helped by Brandon. I was treated far more like a friend than just a potential customer at both locations. I learned a lot about the bikes, but even more I learned this bike shop and its personnel will treat you exceptionally well.

My favorite bike store in SE Portland. Definitely check out their deals before going to the main store on MLK.

Awesome service! I bought my bike here a few months ago. Any time I have needed minor service they have gotten it done that day, no questions asked. The bikes are all marked down bellow MSRP. If you dont shop and wait for a bike shop to have a sale, go to River City Outlet.
