The easiest and most pleasant experience I have ever had purchasing a car. Erin was exceptional throughout the process. I traveled from Philly to purchase the car and that was so smooth due to Erin being able to iron everything out before I got there. Therefore once I arrived I had to pretty much sign & drive. Everyone I encountered here from Erin, to the Sales Manager Dan, to other employees, all were superb.There are at least 4 Lexus dealers within a 20 mile radius of my home. If I needed to purchase a car again, I would first check with Lexus of Berlin City all the way in Maine! That is how impressed I was with everything!

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership in may, I ordered a 2021 Lexus ES350 F Sports with red interior however, when the vehicle was delivered it was black interior and the sale agent told me that Lexus will deliver the red seats and exchange with the black interior, instead a month later the same agent told me that it couldn’t be done. Had I known I would’ve never purchased the vehicle with black interior. Same situation happened with my girlfriend.

Purchased a used vehicle here over the long weekend and had a very good experience. David Tearse was my sales person, and Daniel Kahn was the Sales Manager. Both were highly knowledgeable, professional, and respectful of my time. Some pre-work/negotiations were able to be handled up front (over email), then fine tuning of the deal was handled quickly and professionally on sight. Lexus dealerships are different, and are objectively better than most. They are definitely in touch with what the modern consumer wants, and they clearly put a lot of thought into the sales experience. The dealership was an hour away for me, but it was worth the trip.

We just picked up our 2020 Atomic Silver LexusRX 450h. With the over the top help of John Talamelli we got all the bells and whistles we wanted and even more. I would recommend John to anyone interested in a new car.
We were looking specificaly for an IS350 F and found that Berlin City Lexus had one on the lot. I called (spoke with John) and he verified it was still on the lot, available and he would set the key on his desk so that it was ready to go when I arrived. My wife and I drove down to test drive immediately after the phone call. We arrived and confirmed, with John, once again that the vehicle was available. After a 20 minute test drive we went in to sign paperwork and he proceeds to tell us that the car sold right after I called (2 hours prior). Next, he hands us paperwork on two other vehicles, neither of which were the same model of vehicle I specifically asked for.I am very disappointed in how this interaction materialized. If I was told before the test drive the vehicle was no longer available, I would have been disappointed but would have considered still buying a vehicle from Berlin City. Since it seemed more like a Bait-and-Switch tactic, we headed to IRA Lexus in Manchester NH and purchased the model we were looking for. They provided far better customer service and at no point misled the sale.It is extremely disappointing that Berlin City is the only Lexus dealership in Maine and that our experience was just brushed off with a smile.

I/my husband have purchased 4 vehicles from Berlin City over the past 10 years or so: a Toyota 4Runner, Lexus RX, Lexus sedan and a Honda Accord. All have been EXCELLENT vehicles and needed no maintenance outside of their regular scheduled maintenance and normal wear/tear stuff. Their sales people are reasonable, no pressure and very good and never treat you like just a number. We have always had all of our service done here too and that has been excellent as well. I recommend Berlin City to my friends and family, and will definitely be coming back when its time to upgrade again!!

If there was an option for 0 stars Id choose that. I must say that I absolutely LOVE our NX 200T F Sport! The car itself gets 5 stars! This dealership gets an F- for customer service. The purchase of the vehicle was fine but the service experience with them has been much less than satisfactory. In the three different times Ive dealt with them for service, every single time it has taken over a week for the service supervisor to return my calls just to schedule valet service pickup... a service they claim to offer. Services were listed completed on the form but upon inspection of the vehicle were not (complimentary wash and vac). They have been tardy by an hr or more on pickup of the vehicle each time with no apologies for being late and no warning they were running late. There is so much more but in general- the cars are great, service is terrible!
We have purchased 2 new RX350s from Tim Thomas. No hassle and excellent pricing. We have all our cars, including ones bought in Massachusetts, serviced by them. Always excellent service, free loaners and done on time and within estimate. Cannot say enough good things about them.

Made a service appointment 2 weeks in advance.When I didn’t receive reminder of appointment,I tried to call the service department the day before to confirm. After listening to the canned spielabout how easy they were trying to make the experience for their clients, I was transferred to the service department where I was connected to only voice mail. So I next tried sales which transferred me to scheduling. Rhonda in scheduling had no record of the appointment So 2 things:The service rep had failed to record the appointmentand, by calling, I had saved myself a needless tripto Berlin City the next morning.Rhonda offered to make a new appointment in 10 days. When I inquired about being squeezed In earlier, she said she would call service. Guess what, she received voicemail also.When I asked if she could call contact service later and call me back, she said she couldn’t but I could call service myself again. So much for making the experience @Berlin City easy for their customers.So I thanked Rhonda and called the LEX Connection.A real person immediately answered the phone and scheduled me in for the next morning. I had an outstanding experience @LEX Connection the next morning and even saved 40% on my repairs. I was impressed by the number of customers praising the shop on their way out.So auf wiedersehn, Berlin City.

First off, I wanted to say that dealing with John Talamelli was the best exerpiece Ive had while car shopping. I initially requested a call back from their website regarding a used is250. Things didnt quite work out with that vehicle and John was honest enough to tell me that their techs had some issues with the vehicle and they wouldnt feel right selling it. Instead I purchased a well cared for Mercedes C30 which Im totally in love with.At no point in the buying process did I feel pressure from John to purchase anything outside of the price range I initially had my mind set on. He worked hard on his end to make something work on a financing level for me. My trade in was severely underwater and he still managed to get me into a payment that is both fair and manageable.I have found my new dealership for all future car purchases. Lexus plus pricing was like nothing I have ever dealt with, no haggling and fair prices from the moment I stepped on the lot, this is the way to buy a vehicle.
My first experience with Berlin City was not a positive one. I was looking at a Tundra Friday 1/11/13. I had to go to MA to settle my mothers estate. I told the sales person that. Durning my time in MA I emailed the sales person twice and got no response. When i called about the truck I was told it was sold. No one called to tell me this.My experience today was totally different. Every one went out of their way to give me a good deal on the truck, as well as one on the extended warranty.

Absolutely terrible service department. Lynne and Amy never answer the phone. They couldn’t fix most problems with my car and they refuse to honor a Lexus factory warranty if the car was purchased at another dealer. They refuse to let you speak to a tech or take a ride to try diagnosing the problem. The worst customer service I have ever experienced after dealing with BMW’s, Acura’s, Infiniti’s, Toyota’s etc.

I was in a very tough spot. Id managed a Camden Hills VRBO for an out of state owner, in the past, and continued to be the Gal Friday getting his Lexus out of winter storage and having it at PIA for him. Both the original key and the spare went -missing as the Young-uns would say. Brian Fowler saved the day for me! In less than 48 hours he had the proper key at my door, even though on line sources said it would be impossible to get a key cut for a 1997 Lexus 300 SE! His personal response, manner and efficiency was awesome. I was frantic and panicked, and his smooth, patient and can-do demeanor instantly calmed me down. He was everything and more that you might want or need from a service representative. To me he was a calm cool collected CAN-DO Concierge!

My wife and I had the distinct pleasure of doing business with the amazing people of Berlin City Lexus. I had done a lot of research prior to going and spoke with John Talamelli over the phone. As soon as we arrived, he was genuine and sincere, asking if we’d like some food from their cookout, drinks, etc. Once we were comfortable and after chatting for a while about our professions, where we were from, and sports, he let us know that his main goal was for us to have a great experience and hopefully leave with the right car for us. He would reiterate how that didn’t mean an expensive vehicle, but one that we liked, one that was reliable, and one that fit our budget. I had brought a folder of ~10 potential Toyota vehicles. He went next door to confirm their availability, and discovered that most were Toyota certified, so he could unfortunately not help us. He didn’t try to push us into a non-certified vehicle just to make a sale, but rather went over and found an employee at Toyota whom he really trusted to take care of us, Tucker Murch. Tucker helped us find the perfect vehicle. After an unfortunate experience with a financial manager, we walked out confused, frustrated, and a little shocked. John came out to congratulate us since he saw our plates being taken off our trade-in. He could sense that something was wrong, and asked if we wanted to talk about it. He listened to what happened, and shook his head in awe. John asked if we had time and wanted to go over our paperwork together and he would explain anything and everything, and invited us inside. He was extremely sincere and continually apologized for our experience and really wanted to make sure we left with a firm understanding of what we had bought and signed. He explained it in a very clear way, that for most people, other than purchasing a house, purchasing a vehicle is the largest expense of one’s life and it needs to be a great experience.Once inside, he noticed the General Sales Manager, Dan Kahn was in his office, explained what was going on, and Dan dropped what he was doing and invited us in. Moral of the story, even though we were directly working with John, he went above and beyond and took time out of his busy day to make sure we left completely satisfied and understood every part of our purchase. Although it was not his fault, he continually apologized and acted as though it was, and sincerely wanted to help.That brings us to Dan Kahn. Dan invited us into his office and asked us to explain what had happened. We told him everything, and was visibly upset for us. He promised to go through everything with us, line by line, to be sure we knew exactly what was in our paperwork. He went through our folder, and immediately noticed a few mistakes. He excused himself a few times to walk back and forth between Lexus and Toyota to speak face to face with management on the other side and reprint new paperwork. Dan then did EXACTLY what he said he would do, and went line by line, answering every single question we had. At one point, he even was in contact with the institution in which we would finance through to be sure of the approved amounts and interest rates. He, just like John, repeatedly apologized for what had happened, and took everything extremely personal as if it happened to him. Dan took a lot of his personal time to sit down and change our entire experience. Because of the outstanding service we had just received and our new understanding of our purchase, my wife and I left the way we thought we would in the first place, extremely happy and proud of our new car.
John Talamelli was the best sales consultant!! We had planned to stop at the Lexus and then the Infiniti dealerships before making a decision. However, we never made it to the Infiniti dealership, and drove home our new Lexus! We cant be more pleased. John and the general sales manager, Dan Kahn made the purchase process stress free. And John was there to follow up with any questions we had. He is a true asset to Lexus.
