Absolutely amazing chocolates! Gave these delicious little beauties to my family members as Christmas gifts, and they were an instant hit! I dont eat much sweets, but I couldnt get enough of these chocolates. Very impressed with the intricate flavor combinations and the quality of ingredients. If you are ever visiting Portland Maine and you like or love chocolate, then this is the must stop place of the state! This is complete artwork for your mouth! Well, it appeals to the eyes as well. Its a very small place tucked away down a back street. It is off the beaten path but well worth the hunt! Exotic flavors abound. She is a French trained chocolatier and well worth the investment of a gastronomic adventure.

Beautiful little shop. Having just come back from France, this was as authentic of a French chocolate shop as it gets! Incredibly detailed little chocolates, fun and creative caramels, as well as very friendly service from the owner. She was quick to let us try some delicious samples. I bought the caramels sampler and a 4-pack of custom chocolates. I will be back!

One thing I like about French chocolate is the delicate flavors and these are it! The French jellies are tasty as well because you can taste the fruit without overpowering amounts of sugar and the texture is a nice balance between soft and jelly like.The service was outstanding from the welcoming atmosphere to the tasting.Note on the dragon, those are pre-order only.For pricing, it is less than other French chocolatiers I’ve been too though they are all on the high end. So I’d say it’s a good deal for luxury chocolate.

Beautiful chocolate truffles. The owner is super nice and offered us a few truffles to try before buying our favorites. Highly recommend if youre in the Portland area.

There is nothing more dazzling than opening the door at Chocolats Passion for the first time and using all your senses in an instant. The only possible competition for the most outstanding chocolates you will ever eat would be seeing and meeting the owner and watching her making them. A must stop for everyone any day, any season any year!

Absolutely lovely experience start to finish. Customer care and attention is incredible, you dont feel rushed and the selection is unique and interesting. My only regret is not knowing about their location sooner. Undoubtedly my top suggestion for chocolates in the Portland area.

So so delicious! I was visiting Portland and we ran across Chocolats Passion while walking to a friends house. What an amazing find...Their chocolates are gorgeously decorated, the pictures here dont do them justice. My personal favorite was the passion fruit - dark chocolate one. I also got some of their caramels and they were lovely, not too sweet.With the cold weather, dont miss out on their hot chocolate. Its rich and full of cocoa, I got a medium and it filled me right up.Finally, the service was amazing and the owner, a lovely French woman, made sure we got everything we needed. We reminisced about raspberry candies from our childhood (which they also carry) and I will definitely be back when Im next in town.

This is not only the best chocolate in Portland, its the best Ive ever had. I love frequenting this place when ever I have an excuse to (or not). I recommend all of it, but if youre a wicked dark chocolate fan, you must try the seasonal hot coco. Out of this world.

This place is amazing! I went in earlier today and was enthusiastically greeted by the owner and chocolatier and her pastry chef. They explained all of their amazing chocolates, gave me 2 different chocolates to taste as well as their amazing vegan hazelnut spread. SO much better than Nutella! They use the best ingredients and most everything is gluten free (there are also vegan options!) I felt like I was in a chocolate shop in France. The presentation is beautiful and they perfectly packaged up my treats. Its a great place to buy gifts-- I know I will be back a lot!
