My wife has been hit hard with the baby blues so i thought getting her something nice would cheer her up. So i ordered her flowers, chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate and chocolate covered pretzels; i ordered this a 4am. I got a call at 1400 telling me they cant deliver it and if it was ok if it could be delivered the next day. Being that i work in a high demand industry i get being busy, so u told them thats fine thinking that theyd take extra care of the order. I was completely wrong. The order was delivered at 1745 and was the completely wrong order; strawberries, cookies and chocolate covered graham cracker were delivered. My wife is allergic to graham crackers..... Like Ill die if i touch one... Epi pen and everything, she also cant do certain cookies for the same reason (it has something to do with processed food and the ingredients). So here i am thinking Ill come home to a happier wife and instead i come home too an angry, depressed, crying a river wife cause she thinks i dont care about her because Graham crackers will kill her and its that what i want. So thank you for ruining my evening and putting my wife in a more fragile state. This will be the last time I ever purchase anything from you.
I received an edible arrangement for the birth of my child, it arrived a day later than it was scheduled and when I opened the plastic wrap a swarm of fruit flies came out of it and I haven’t been able to eradicate them all from my house since. It’s really annoying. The whole purpose of the business is to sell fresh fruit but they couldn’t pull it off. The arrangement was well done and everything tasted great, besides the knowledge that I was likely ingesting fruit fly larvae.
Ive ordered many arrangements from this company from several locations across the country and NEVER had a terrible experience until now.I ordered a platter for my dads birthday that was supposed to include pumpkin cheesecakes and dipped fruit. I also paid for a foil ballon as well as cinnamon and sugar covered pecans. After receiving a photo from my parents I immediately called and of course the office was closed. The order was missing the balloon, nuts and the cheesecake was NOT pumpkin but it was PLAIN! The items were in clear to go food containers. Didnt look birthday gift worthy at all.I called again the following day and got through. I was told they discontinued the pumpkin cheesecake so they replaced it with the plain and didnt receive their shipment of nuts. She also said the plain cheesecake is better than the pumpkin? Hmmm last time I checked this wasnt for YOU. Also, they ran out of platters so they used the to go containers (which I totally understand) and then the driver apparently just forgot the ballon. Apparently they replaced the missing items with chocolate pops from their Valentines Day collection! Were in October and thats what was used to make up for the cheesecake and missing items?! My parents tasted them and they were disgusting and tasted old! The lady I talked to said they didnt have time to call customers regarding substitutions. Are you serious? We pay money for these specific items and dont deserve at least a phone call for authorization especially when its a gift?! A manager wasnt in, of course, so she said shed have one call me. Im still waiting on this call. When I call corporate Im forwarded to the local store. Im still steaming about this situation. Worst birthday gift to my dad ever.Ill update this review if/when I receive a call back. Compensation should have been made so lets hope they do the right thing. FYI- theyre not open until 7, they close at 5.**** Update! I contacted the corporate office and a formal case was opened allowing the local business to contact me within 48 hours to resolve the issue. I never heard back from the local store so corporate stepped in and refunded my money immediately. Thank you to corporate for being so prompt and doing the right thing! I’d recommend not doing business with the Glisan location and just locating a different store. ****
My original delivery date was changed and I was given a phone call regarding the issue for the delayed delivery. I was understanding as technical issues, especially with vehicles, occurs and is often out of our control.I was advised the delivery would occur the next business day. That day came and went without delivery and without an update provided by the store. Delivery is now 3 days late and I haven’t been able to contact anyone for an update. I called the store four times but the phone was never picked up.This isn’t my first time having Edible Arrangements drop the ball and mess up a delivery but it will be the last time as I will not be ordering anything from this company in the future.
Buyer Beware. Sort these reviews by newest and you will see a trend of disappointed customers. If you need someone reliable to make your day special I would look elsewhere. There is a guy named Chris who replies to the disappointed posts and tries to make it right. How about doing it right the first time.I ordered a delivery the previous day. It is now 445 PM and has yet to be delivered. I called at 1PM they said it would be delivered with in the next two hours. I am still waiting. I have called the store several times after 4 PM have only received voicemail. I left a voicemail. They shop closes at 5PM. The Website Tracking says it is still being arranged.Finally delivered at 730PM.Very Disappointed.
My mom ordered from this location and they said they wouldn’t be able to deliver on the day she requested (9/7). On 9/8, she called and left a voicemail to set up a new delivery time. There was no call back so she tried again on 9/9. I also called on 9/9 since I’m in the same time zone and all I got was the voicemail. I left a message and still no response. I then called a second time on 9/10 (now the 4th call between my mom and I) and left a voicemail. Still no response. It is now 9/13 and my mom has not received a refund nor have we gotten a call confirming a new pick up time. By far the worst Edible Arrangements we have ever purchased from.
Very poor attitude by the new owner. Left me on hold for over 10 mins after being told I was calling due to a big problem. Got on the phone with a definite attitude. They delivered my balloon bundle WITH NO BALLOONS, ruined my big surprise and all he could do was make excuses, not once did he apologize for his screw up. His solution to the poor service, to send just balloons (nothing extra) to the recipient or to refund the cost of the balloons! He didn’t have A CHOICE he had to refund what he didn’t give me, oh and he thought a good idea was for me to take it in store credit so I could see what a good experience I could have with them! Fat chance! You have several choices for Edible Arrangements in Portland don’t go to the one on Glisan. Owner needs to take some CS classes and learn how to run a business properly.
Ive been to this location twice for orders, and both times the customer service was outstanding. The employees who greeted me were very pleasant, and friendly. The chocolate covered strawberries were amazing!!! They were fresh, and they used high quality chocolate.
Great food arrangements, but the store is too small to be able to adequately serve people at holiday times. You need more stores.
On my birthday a beautiful arrangement arrived at my house. In addition to the fruit it had 2 boxes of baked goods and 3 balloons. Unfortunately the fruit didnt taste as good as it looked. The pineapple and strawberries were delicious. The honeydew was okay and we threw all of the cantaloupe and grapes away. I know the arrangement was expensive and I felt terrible that it went into the garbage but they were inedible .Upon reading this review I received a response from the owner. He wanted to do something to make up for the unsatisfactory fruit. I received a box of delicious chocolate covered strawberries. I wouldnt hesitate to use his business in the future!
Had some hiccups with the delivery itself but they handled my grumpiness surrounding the situation and made it right.
Horrible customer service .. they lost our order then became short with us .. like it’s our fault you are either under staff or have employees that don’t handle stress.. I called to place a second order and was told to place my order online .. I will not be back to this place again there are plenty of other options out there
I made a huge order a couple weeks ago with some friends and WOW... these guys bent over backwards to make everything just perfect. Im so very thankful to your staff for the exceptional service and amazing arrangements!
Unfortunately not good customer service. The lady who took my order was not helpful in giving me options basically that is all we have I didnt get a confirmation email when order was delivered I called them and turned out they wrote my email wrong.

The Edible Arrangements at 2710 NE Glisan St Portland, OR 97232 went above and beyond to make my girls day special. Even though their day had just started they put forth the extra effort to get the arrangement I ordered to her work at the correct time. She was so happy! It made her day and mine. I love it here! Nothing like it anywhere else! One bite of a swizzle berry or caramel banana truffle and youll be hooked. Oh, and the deliciously tasty flower arrangements are gorgeous too!
Ive bought arrangement from here twice and both times theyve been exceptional--delivery arrives at a convenient time and they look great.
