I stop by occasionally on my way to work in the mornings. The large iced latte lasts me all day, and the Lemon Loaf is an amazing breakfast. I always feel good knowing I can help support the farmers where the beans are sourced from. Hector also makes amazing Tamales as a bonus 😋 👌

Café Zamora is a Portland gem. Fantastic coffee available packaged or by the cup, Guatemalan tamales, and cool shop setup. The owner (Hector) is such a friendly guy who is always fun to talk to. They have a really great story and socially conscious business model. I recently bought some of their coffee as presents via their website and was amazed at how quickly and effectively it got delivered. Highly recommend checking them out at the shop or by buying their beans at Market of Choice or online!

What a gem of a place. I stumbled across this coffee shop randomly as I was in Southeast for a meeting. The owner was delightful. While I was there multiple regulars walked in and he knew their orders and greeted them with such kindness. I got a 12 ounce Americano and it was delicious. They also roast their own coffee beans. If you have a chance definitely check out this sweet little spot.

Absolutely LOVE this local coffee shop! You cant beat the hometown feel of this shop. The owner always remembers you and makes you feel so welcome. He really cares about offering high quality, fair trade, and eco friendly products at a great price. Plus the outdoor market (runs every other weekend) is a great way to find other businesses in the community.

This was a 360 coffee experience. The owner tells the whole story and mission behind this delicious curated coffee and while it needs no bousting, the taste amplifies as you learn the ethical ways in which the coffee was brought all the way to you from Guetemala. The pastries are to behold, very decadent and the backyard brings all these elements together to create an experience of utter enjoyment. Totally recommend this place! 👌

Pros:- Super nice owner- shop owner owns the farm where the beans are fromCons:- in a city full of third wave coffee, this is second wave coffee. Dark beans with oversteamed milk. I wanted to like it based on the story and personality involved, but its just not worth it.

I stopped by this morning as I was running errands. Smoothest coffee ever! Well worth another stop even if it is on the opposite side of the city.

I 100% recommend this neighborhood coffee shop! They deliver as well if you choose to skip going out during this time. I dont get coffee out as much as I used to because of job loss (COVID) but when I do I choose to walk to this destination and grab any of the items on the menu. Do not miss out on the tamales! YUMMY!

Amazing coffee

I love this place! Ive been living in Portland for 22 years and have been drinking coffee for 14. I finally stopped in today to get a coffee and it was fresh and the employees were very friendly. Defenantly would recommend to any coffee drinkers as insane as me! 😄

I have a long work commute travelling from the Eastside out to the Westside everyday and I have tried every convenient and inconveniently located coffee shop along the way trying to find something decent, what Cafe Zamora lacks in aesthetic appeal and food options it more than makes up for with its damn good coffee drinks. Their latte is simple, clean and perfect. So glad I stopped by as this is now my go to coffee shop.
