Got food to go and was super impressed by everything! Amazing maple bolo- veggie sausage was great, and mocha was great. Very friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere.

Coffee was decent, actually, more than decent. But the food selection is pretty limited—I dont see any pastries or even cookies—the sandwiches seem to me somewhat overpriced for what they are.I came on one of the colder days and lately they blocked the door with just a window for transaction, its not as warm and lively as I used to see. Also for what its worth…there are a few small tables outside.

Pork Belly burrito was worth the $13. The egg English muffin was not worth the $6. The turmeric tea was delicious.Friendly staff. Break even.

Now that I realize it’s a coffee shop by day and a cocktail bar by night, the interior makes more sense. It is very bright in the front half of the space with a DJ table, but terribly dark in the back, where there seems to be a VIP booth; jarring to see in the daytime. The seating arrangement, dim lighting, and dark teal paint lends itself to the intimate setting of the evening. Feels like your grandma’s basement with the crystalware, vinyl coverings, midnight blue velour drapes, and chained chandeliers. I can see why it has appeal, especially the music selection. And I would concur with previous reviews of the chai!

This place rules. Great coffee, great mocktails, awesome pastries. Cant wait to sit outside when it gets warmer!

It’s ok? Coffee is decent and staff are friendly enough but I’m sure it was better before covid. The staff just aren’t the friendliest and the shop itself isn’t welcoming. I’m sure they were better before covid.

This place is super cute and chill. Friends wanted a espresso martinis, which I do not drink, but they all seemed happy with. I had a whisky ginger, and it was great. We had a pretty big group and were able to snag the booth in the back. It was super comfy, well lit, and all the decor was really nice and cozy. The place is generally small, and there are a good handful of intimate little 2 top tables. Would be a good place for a date night.

The hot buttered yam was amazing, and the attached was super friendly. Will definitely be back.

Look. Im addicted to the coffee claw. The claw machine in the back. I never win. I dont even care. The vibes here are good. Lush velvety green curtains. Tasty cold brew. Quality selection of tap beers. Try the pork belly tacos or the vegan chicken sandwich.

The red head who took my order was incredibly rude. the sandwich i ordered took almost 15 minutes to make and was completely burnt. Would not recommend and will never go back

Fantastic little bar coffee shop hybrid. this is my go-to spot when I need to get some work done and I cant decide if I want to drink tequila or having espresso. The great thing about either or is the longer I sit there and work while either drinking tequila or espresso, if I get hungry the Buddha bowl is the absolute bomb. Queer owned.

Definitely a must! I had the wanton soup and the Salted Russian cocktail. Both were AMAZING! Simple menu and food options that pair well with your drink of choice whether youre there for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Remember: lighter fair pairs well with heavier drinks and vice versa. So my soup and salty russian paired perfectly.

The space looks really cute and like a chill spot to hang out but the cold brew I got for $5 was all ice (we were able to take maybe 3 drinks of it and the coffee was gone) and the person helping us wasnt friendly at all. The coffee is tasty but maybe get a drink other than a cold brew to-go.

Ordered through Grubhub. Overall it was subpar. The food was decent but not worth the price at all. I ordered a latte with an extra shot of espresso but it tasted like milk with just a hint of coffee.

The bar was not busy, and the bartender managed to completely forget to make my drink. At least ten minutes later I asked if it was ready. He replied “obviously not.” Made me the sweetest, worst Old Fashioned I’ve ever had. He handed it to me without so much as a “sorry about that”. Impressively bad service... i honestly contemplated asking for my tip back.

These guys are artists at whatever they do...coffee, chai, cocktails, food, etc.. Theres a drink with turmeric that is amazing. Thier chai is second to none. Theres a cold brew & mexican coke drink that is SO GOOD. The vegetarian breakfast sandwich is 2 thumbs up. I love supporting a rad small business as well! Thanks Either/OR!

Awesome place if you want a fancy coffee cocktail or a light meal. The Thai iced tea drink is also super tasty. You can definitely find cheaper but everything here is good quality

Delightful cocktail menu, and a very good pork belly bowl. Really reasonable prices, and when there’s not a party or event, it’s quiet, cool, and chill to hang out at during the day or evening. Well worth a visit, and probably my new go-to coffee spot now that Locale is closed.

Perfect spot for late night drinks and snacks. Im sure the coffee shop is awesome too, so Ill be sure to do that next!

I love everything about this place - the drinks (morning and night), the food, space, the staff. I cant think of a better place for daytime meetings and evening hangs.

A frozen slushie drink was $10. Seems a bit steep, especially since I couldnt taste any alcohol in it. The panda cup it came in was adorable though.

Second outpost of Either/Or is this large roomy cafe with extended hours. Excellent chai, coffee and yummy menu. Loved the Chinese sausage bowl for breakfast.

Their Chai tea is the best Ive had yet, and Im willing to try chai anywhere I go. Its like getting the medium spice level when ordering thai food. Its perfect. Sweetness is minimal and the robust flavors can shine with the spice. Chai perfection. Better than my homemade chai tinkerings.

Undrinkable coffee

It is a cafe often used by locals in Portland. When the weather was nice, there were tables and chairs outside, and many people stopped by for a dog walk. I ordered a latte, but the texture was fine and delicious. It seems that it also holds events and parties, and cocktails are also served at the bar next to the counter. You can enjoy the two types of atmosphere of the cafe and bar at the same time, and the entrance door is open to the ceiling.
