I live in town, and unfortunately my UPS packages cannot be delivered directly to my apartment, as the lobby door locks, and I appreciate that packages are not left out on the front steps. They mostly are left at the UPS store to pick up which is always fine. I dread when they are redirected to CVS because there are always delivery delays etc, but I make it work.I had the WORST experience the other day with a man who could not get their handheld device to register my package, which was there… with my name on it. Instead of explaining that the system was down or whatever other issue was probably out of his control, he got quite snarky and told me I couldn’t have my package. With any sort of kindness or explanation (“ah shoot, technology!”), I would have happily come back another day and thanked him for his efforts.I went back today, had a much more pleasant interaction, and got my package. I described the man I had trouble with and the employee identified him as the STORE MANAGER. It seemed the staff is equally as put off with his general demeanor as I was. It’s amazing what a little bit of kindness can accomplish. It is equally as amazing how one five minute interaction with an unpleasant man could make me never want to step foot into an establishment again. I’m not asking for 5 star service at a CVS, just some humanity. Clearly some kindness needs to be shown to the staff who has to deal with that man as well.
They shut their pharmacy for staffing and didn’t process my prescription before their untimely early closing after specifically transferring it here for emergency purposes. They are also closed here tomorrow so can’t pick it up then either and because they didn’t process it I can only get a 48 hour prescription here. Messing with people’s lives and no common courtesy when dealing with personal medications that are vital to ones health.Every other pharmacy is open but this one
Inept pharmacy. Willing to spend 20 minutes delaying my pickup of a prescription to figure out a way for someone to pick up another persons drugs . They couldnt even spell the other persons name or remember their birthday, but the pharmacist was still willing to willing to work with them. Shady
Dave at the pharmacy was extremely helpful to me today. I ended up going to the minute clinic at 51 Market St to get a prescription I needed and Dave made multiple phone calls for me and called me back immediately w the information I needed. I really appreciate his help today. Thank you so much Dave .
I came in to CVS two times today. The store is clean. The shields are stocked and the Customer service was amazing. I bought 2 items the first time. Cranberry/Grape juice and a pack of tums. I was greeted with a hardy hello, my items got scanned and I left. 30 minutes or so I came back. I was looking for a simple mobile reload card... this store as well as many others do not carry simple mobile. I procided to the counter, where a man greeted myself with a friendly ( How are you doing today, I replied (Great) pulled out 160$ and loaded 150$ on my prepaid money card at the cost of 5$ The trans action was smooth, within 10minutes I had my money on my card.
Usually good experience, heavy volume can make pharmacy counter surly at times, but not always. Bigger, Owner, issue may be seedy location and absolutely no parking (3 metered spots in front on street).
The lady who waited on me was very helpful and friendly helped me sign up for discounts they dont sell cigarettes though
One of the busiest pharmacies in town. Incredibly personable and smart. Complete trust in them. Highly recommend!
One of the pharmacists took extensive measures to make sure the medicine I was taking wouldnt upset one of my conditions (that states I cant have most food or drink). He was extremely patient and was extremely kind. Please give this man a raise or promotiom, he deserves it!
I filled out all the paper work and i still dont have a job here. i was attacked by tonya yesterday and no one has done anything to help me. why is this allowed to happen ?
While store is smaller, I they have good deals..
CVS is an adequate pharmacy yet the price for prescription medications is among the highest. I have therefore begun to move my prescription meds to another pharmacy. Also their wait time to talk to a pharmacist is among the longest.
Received quick help from both the cashier and manager in finding the product I desired. Great staff!
I have always had a great experience at CVS Pharmacy on Congress Street. The pharmaceutical technicians there are excellent. They are knowledgable and they are incredibly helpful if you dont have insurance. They will help you find the right product that you need to get well or stay well.
Nice people. One of the pharmacist s looks exactly like comedian Sarah Silverman!
Horrible customer service. Clerk did not want to give directions. Very rude.
Just signed up for rewards program
I dont think they sell cigarettes here anymore.
