Today was my first time going to Hollywood Barber. Brandy was the stylist who cut my hair and I am so very pleased with her work. No mess, no fuss, no problem.These ladies are LEGIT! As in the company policy is We dont do shampoo and frills, we just give you a great haircut.This is kind of a great mix between old school barber and quick corporate haircut places. It is affordable and fast but you get to go to the same gals every time AND they actually know who you are!Even as a man when most haircuts in Portland cost between 30 and 60 dollars you can come here and walk out for under 30 including leaving a healthy tip which these ladies deserve. Cuz they are awesome.You should know they dont even have sinks, so theres no rinsing out the hair clippings. Theyll give you a nice blow dry and brush off but this is also why they are so fast and affordable. Its a pretty amazing business model in an industry that is moving more and more towards Heres your cigar and barrel aged whiskey with your cut.... also thatll be $80 dollars :) I can now afford to keep my hair short without breaking the bank. I come every 3 to 4 weeks. And for free theyll clean up your neck anytime between cuts and for a small fee can just trim up the sides.I count myself pretty fortunate that they are close enough to be my neighborhoodish barber. Close enough that I make a point to go to them every time. This IS my barber!Tip: They also do beards and eyebrows. Theyll basically do what they can to make you walk out looking dapper AF without a huge bill.
