Course is in great shape; especially considering the lack of rainfall over the past months. Greens are well- irrigated and rolling true. Overall a great experience and a good round. Staff was most personable and friendly. Glad they are offering teetimes for less than foursomes.
I use the walking trail. Lots of shade, I had a hell of a time figuring out how to access the trail on the driving range side. Followed nother walker to the trail. Big enough to let walkers space out
The driving range is always closed due to ‘technical difficulties’ or closes early despite the website times, even when you call to confirm them still close whenever they feel like it
Nice course, well maintained and challenging. Too many hills to climb when carts are not allowed.
EVERYTHING has gone down hill. First off no consistent range hours, they either close early with no reasoning/completely random or they kick you out of the area your at randomly for “private practice” not worth the time or money to come here. Putting holes have been removed and replaced with skinny rods that don’t even stand up. Range is not well taken care of, hell the whole lots isn’t. Definitely a lot of other golf ranges worth your time and money.
I got in touch with mother nature, very beautiful and relaxing place
Greens were great! Overall a great experience. Thanks Glendoveer.
Excellent golf course very peaceful tranquil wooded area to play golf or walk on the trail around the golf course in a park setting.
The Westside was in great shape! I have always liked Glebdoveer, west and Eastsides!!
Awesome course very fun and you can choose from the east or west course east is a bit more challenging
My mom and I used to come here all the time to walk the track around the golf course. Its a really pretty spot. I have not golfed here because I do not know how but I always see people out and about golfing and enjoying themselves. I thoroughly enjoy the brewery Von Ebert that is now located at Glendoveer. Their food and drinks are REALLY tasty, and they still have those delicious steak bites! Yum! I highly recommend this spot to others.
70 degrees hardly any wind, near perfect manicured golf course. I was on practice chip and putt area( east side) very good it rolled really nice Id say an 8 on the meter, so im sure the course was fast too. Great weather, beautiful course, who could ask for more?
Great place, course is decent, old school smaller greens quirky holes. Solid amenities.
Went to the driving range, the set up is easy to navigate and theres always plenty of space. The putting greens where nice too. Great course to play
No place to get a dog or quick sandwich at the turn. Had to bring our own food. Nothing like a dog at the turn!
Actually, liked the course and staff. The fact that I had to
It has a great 2 mile free walking trail. It is dirt trail so prepare for your shoes to get super dusty though. Indoor tennis memberships have an initiation fee and monthly fee. The initiation fee is ridiculous because it makes it not worth it maybe I just want to come for one month and then cancel my membership and come back next year but it in not possible because of the expensive initiation fee. That initiation fee makes the tennis membership not worth it.
Decent range and fielding to play on while enjoying a morning or evening with friends or family in the various things to enjoy at the facility. Well staffed and politely managed also to accommodate visits and attendance.
The barkdust trail around the golf course is sweet. I run it 3 days a week.
Glendoveer is so much more than a golf course, and place to play tennis. For locals like myself it is a little piece of nature nestled amidst the neighborhoods of a bustling city. For the truly dedicated athletes its a great place to run, excetera. As for people like myself, it is a beautiful place to go for a walk with my family on a sunny day.
Great course. Twilight golf hours are great during summer.
This golf course is so underrated as a Portland course. Lush and beautiful and easy to play in all sorts of weather. Afterwards retire to Von Ebert and drink away the afternoon as you cheers your fellow golfers.
They dont post when driving range is closed... this has happened to me twice
My 83 yr old Dad practicing . He hit 20-25 balls. Not too bad for an old man.
Played west course good shape greens In great shape
The brew fest on the driving range was fantastic
Great beer selection, amazing food, diligent staff. I will go back
Dont even bother trying to play here on a weekday night... they had this place so jampacked with groups, it took over 3 hours to play 9.
Awesome place in the city! Has everything and good rates
Driving range hours say its open till 9pm. Nothing states you cant get golf balls at the driving range after 630pm.Calling to verify hrs would have been nice if they would answer the phone!
Love playing this course everyone is nice
Beautiful course, cant wait to go again
This place barely qualifies as a golf course. If you are into terrible conditions and 6 hour rounds then sign right up! Nobody cares cause the tee sheet is full. Sucks.
My preferred course! Staff is friendly and very helpful. Being a disabled person and needing help at times, they are attentive to my needs...often anticipating details that make my rounds that much more enjoyable. Greens and fairways are kept in good condition, never had a need to complain.
Great golf and tennis facility that has 2 golf courses with unique layouts. This facility consistently improves every year. The pro shop offers a wide variety of products from many brands. Von Ebert is a great addition to this facility for food and drinks and is a place of go even if I weren’t golfing.
Great course! Great staff. Following all the new norm rules. They let me borrow a six iron from their lost and found and had no hiccups about providing all three of us rain checks at the turn because it was kind of cold, but really windy! Ive golfed there dozens of times and look forward to dozens more...😀
This is still by far the best course in Portland. Hoping to be a lifelong member.
Its a drive from my home to Glendoveer but the 2 mile walking trail is fabulous. Feels safe to even walk it alone. Path is nice & wide. Plenty of parking, too!
Love playing golf here real nice course and I won
I golf there once a week & enjoy the course.Today was so muddy that I couldnt get a cart & it was like 18 holes..weonly played 9.
This is where I pick up my son and sometimes jog. I dont golf. Kind of want to check out Von Eberts. I miss Ringside. 5 stars because it is well maintained unlike most things in this area.
Poor customer service. They never seem to be very honest about their pricing on golfing so we left!
I have not gone into the brewery or golfed here but it is a BEAUTIFUL place. I run on the trail that surrounds the golf course and it is just amazing. It is a decent little 2 mile run. If you are just looking for a nice, scenic little trail in the middle of the city: this is the place to be. Especially on a warm, sunny day.
Greens and fairways are in good shape.
27 holes of amazing golf
Greens are the best theyve been in 25 yrs!
I always like their double decker driving range actually.
I use the trail around the course its great unless it rains then it becomes a mud hole
I go there for VonEbert brewing, great beer and food. And if you golf, enough said.
There is a huge theft problem. The thieves live in an apartment complex across the street from the golf course. If they can’t leave with the vehicle they take what they can. Beware!!!!
Okay Golf Course! Not so fond of the driving range as you hit a wire crossing the driving range about every 5th Ball! Must be 10 wires crossing the driving range.
Its big!
Underrated golf course in Portland. The east course is very nice (4/5), west is okay (3/5), but having Von Ebert Brewing on site elevates the entire experience to a solid 4. Highly recommend if youre in the area.
Awesome. Both courses.
Good place to walk in nature in middle of the city
Great courses and well maintained. The west course is a little easier but challenging. The east course is very challenging.
Its time to add back all of the range hitting mats. I mean, youre still 6 feet apart from the next person. I had to wait a half hour for an open stall.
Beautiful course and great food in the clubhouse.
Fun local course. East is long and traditional. The West has several drivable par 4s and would be fun for all levels. Only ding on the place is I have had grumpy and rude service from at least one staff member every time I go.
Really enjoyable driving range, and not expensive at all...
Price high for course, need to put sand in bunkers! Or remove them!
West is a fun and forgiving course. Lots of opportunities to play great golf. Great pro shop and very friendly staff!
Well done guys n girls... Course well maintenance and I felt safe with my whole experience being there. They have done a really good job with following the rules of this pandemic.
Just beautiful course, 2 18 hole courses, indoor tennis courts, and sorry to say Ringside bar and grill is gone, but they have a new brewery pub there, but we didnt go in, with some out door seating. Driving range is every other one so you will be distant from others, their is also a upper level. We also did the trail, some sun, some shade, very very nice.
I love this course, especially the east side. Two levels at the driving range, well kept greens, and friendly staff.
Amazing course. Great driving range. Jogging track seems nice. Lots of parking. Overall great facility. Foods good too lol.
I would give it a 5 but it was my first time being there my experience was great, it was my first time playing golf and I cant wait to come back to try it again.
Being i and mine were born and raised in Oregon, we spent a lot of time playing in our naturally made playgrounds all over Oregon. Glendoveer has been my favorite. Not only can you walk around for fitness ... U can play golf, tennis and the driving range, there after you can hit the club for a cool/warm drink and a nice meal, Inside or out. Hope U enjoy it as much as i have. Kimber ~
Nice restaurant and bar. Food was good and had outdoor seating!
Well maintained golf course with challenging hills and giant trees make a perfect setting for a great day golfing. Double deck driving range for those looking for some practice time.
Nice course. Great for walks
Great course well maintain
Nice East and West course. Not too difficult and great views at points
Love walking here with my kids and my mom.
The course was great, but the single in front of us was very slow. At times took up to 13 practice swings. Do you have a ranger???
Scenic grounds with towering trees. A wood chip walking path stretching several miles. Tasty beverages at Von Eberts. Oh yeah and golf if youre into that.
Taking golf lessons with Carter. Hes perceptive and teaches you exactly what you need to learn.
Course was in great shape and they constantly have discounts and specials. Nice open fairways, perfect for someone just starting in the game.Would have a appreciated a drink/refreshment cart on the course. Only reason for 4/5 stars.
Glendoveer Golf Course is a true Portland favor with beautiful trees and an absolutely stunning Golf Course, in fact there are two full 18-hole courses. Always well kept.... theres a part of my weekly Health regimen I like you go up to Glendoveer and hit a bucket of balls on their two-tiered covered driving range which is totally awesome during the late afternoon when the sun is real warm its rather cool in the shade at the driving range. And this is not a makeshift lets throw some mats on the grass and hit some balls kind of driving range its a full-fledged fully stocked driving range or you can really let outs and Club. Its an absolute grade social moment for me as I take my son Kevin with me and we share some weekly thoughts and memories while we are smacking a bucket of balls. The other wonderful feature about Glendoveer is the track that covers the entire acreage of the facility on the outer Rim where you can walk I believe one point eight miles all the way around on soft sawdust trails...... and its absolutely free. There is a parking lot on the north east corner 4 walkers. Glendoveer also boasts a beautiful indoor tennis facility.I happily want to mention that the staff at Glendoveer is always very receptive and very helpful which is a huge Plus since customer service isnt almost non-existent at many golf courses. I love Glendoveer Golf Course and highly recommend it to anyone looking to get outside and enjoy the summer weather...
