I love save a lot. I find so many great deals on stuff I actually want and need. They are the cheapest place in town to buy food. And the food actually good quality- not ready to go bad after you get it home. Save a Lot has name brand & knock off products. The staff very friendly, ready to help, and great at what they do. I definitely recommend checking Save A Lot out. You wont be disappointed

Purchased chicken that was dated for July 16 but when I opened the meat is smelled so bad be careful when purchasing meat.the staff was great at refunding me so thats why I gave 3 stars

I discovered this Place several months ago and I love it! The store has friendly staff, and they have just about every item that you could need on a typical shopping trip.All of the items are on basic shelving and the store seems pretty simple too, however their low overhead reflects as their prices are incredibly low for good quality items.The place is very clean, and there is ample parking. Save a lot is handicap accessible.This Save-A-Lot location offers a wide ethnic variety of foods and beverages.I would recommend bringing shopping bags with you on this trip, and I would recommend Save-A-Lot.

Stopped in to get some luncheon meat and ended up buying a 5 pound can of ham which was on sale for 899 and the sandwiches were excellent

The meat is TOO EXPENSIVE!!! Example Hamburg 5.79 lb compared to Shaws at 2.99ln. Lack of products. Rotten fruit at times. Employees are nice but not alot of smiles

Its okay.... Its hard navigating through the store and where items should be.. And I wouldnt trust MOST of the meat their, and you have to bag everything yourself(thats if you buy bags from them or remember to bring your own) they do have boxes available to carry purchases, but I dont think everything is easy to carry that way.. And could ruin purchases. I do go occasionally for dry goods when Im in the area.

I like this store because the food is probably a bit more affordable and most importantly its closer to where I live, and closer than before due to the shortest walking distance. But as of today as I was about to pay for the items that I bought at the checkout counter, a couple of children and their parent crowded over me when I was trying to pay for the items I was purchasing (i.e. shaving cream, razors, bacon cheeseburgers, canned pasta, iced tea, etc., etc.) and that made me nervous. I cant concentrate on anything when people (regardless of age) cross my physical and personal boundaries---especially when I was trying to pay for my food out of my card, and children are being a nuisance as they are getting in my space. Ive asked them nicely to please give me some room so I can pay for my items in peace. They ignored my request and they annoyed me. I was frustrated with the children for getting in my boundaries, and I insisted the children and anyone else to take a few steps back while I pay for the items I was buying. Normally Id give this store five stars for the price of food on an as-needed basis, but due to todays incident, Id reduce it to three because of the children getting in my space, and I would appreciate it if people dont give me a hard time about it. This is not the first time I had to put up with the incident. It happened at first two years ago. Parents really need to set an example for children to get them to respect other peoples boundaries. And also I dont like it when children are running around in public places (and this store is no exception). Theyre running around not being aware that they would endanger everybody---including themselves.

You can save a nice chunk of change buying some items in bulk like canned goods. BRING BOXES or bags with you. Definitely worth a trip to check out how you can save. I go here once every couple months to buy by the case but only certain items.

I actually enjoy shopping there. I use to want to save a buck when I turned 18 and still do . I stopped shopping there to buy at Shaws I thought their food was fresher turns out I stopped a save a lot today to find I saved over $250.00 for what would have cost me close to $400.00 I only paid like $157.00 so Im super happy today and very pleased. I will be shopping back there again soon.

Save a lot is a great place to shop. They need to sell more pork, and be more american. And stop catering to the immigrants in this country.

I bought hamburger and porkchops. And I really didnt think that I needed to check for the expiration date,as I was in a big hurry. I got home and went to put these products in the freezer at 8pm, and looked at the labels that both said for that day. I think that is awful. The store was also a mess with only a few workers. I wont be going there again

Good prices, though, I dont trust their meat, unless its prepackaged, like bacon or frozen foods. Once in awhile you get stuck behind someone at checkout who has $200 in food with a $40 voucher or something.

I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of foods, such as almond milk, rice flour and a large selection of Hispanic and African foods.I was less happy that their prices have gone up. There were many things I could get for much less at Wal-Mart.

I guess its not too bad there but trust me I dont recommend buying any of their meat.

This particular one is filthy. And always one register open. Other locations are clean and quick to serve.

The store manager is extremely rude and unprofessional....poor ppl skills and is over the top rude to his employees...he ignored my friend that was shopping there for the first time... when my friend approached him to inquire if they carry an item..just blankly stared and walked away from her ...over the top rude ...managers are supposed to lead with example...have good customer service...and have good relations with his employees instead of barking out orders to them which is extremely unprofessional to do in front of the shoppers ...my friend is never foot in that store again and as someone that owns her own business herself is going to think twice also

I shop at Shop and Save because they have a lot of sales every week. Its always clean, there is a handicap ramp. I usually only go shopping in two stores and one is Save-A-Lot
