If I could give it 0 stars I would. The cashier was on his phone when I entered, and barely set his phone down to ring me up. Everything except their most popular selling alcohols were dusty. And I mean everything. If I wasnt in the area as a transit commuter and wanting to get a bottle, I would not have gone there. Its in a well-populated shopping center so I thought it would look less run-down. It was not. Liquor was well priced though, only redeeming point.

Gave two stars because we come here regularly and it usually has good prices and selection. The staff do their job but arent overly friendly, and I appreciate the convince of their location. Usually when I buy more than one bottle, they offer a box to carry. Today they refused when I asked and insisted I buy a bag instead. I pulled it from my car to bring home and the bag had a giant hole. At least the more expensive bottle survived. Surprise, bottles are heavier than paper... 😡

Not to be confused for Uptown Spirits..which is an outstanding company. Uptown liquor gets 2 thumbs down. Dont shop here

Good selection; condescending, unfriendly help. Overheard two stock clerks today making fun of another customer who called in for help. The clerk at the register was cold, unfriendly, and not very knowledgeable. I bought gin and mezcal.

They have liquor and they will sell it to you at the regulated price. Parking is rough. Service is adequate.

Terrible serviceFALSE ADVERTISINGDO NOT SHOP HEREa bottle that was clearly marked down from $119 to $99 with a big pink sign saying this.The BOY behind the counter says thats $119.I said it says 99 dollars on your sign. He comes from behind the counter and ripps the tag off the shelf, tears it up and mumbles something about distributors and wrong prices. He then rudly asks you want it ? I said not for 119 when you are ADVERTISING it for 99.

I used to frequent this liquor store for years. Then they changed owners and staff. On my second visit after the changeover, the heavily tattooed clerk behind the counter (I have nothing against tattoos, this is just meant as a descriptor) was extremely rude.I wrote it off as maybe a bad day.On my next visit, the gentleman refused me service. After I inquired about the reason, he told me that I was visibly intoxicated. At 2 oclock in the afternoon!I gave the place one more try a few months later. Luck would have it that there was the same guy behind the counter. As soon as I entered, he looked at me and obviously recognized me. I waited patiently in line behind five customers and when it was my turn, he informed me that he would not sell me anything. I left without a comment.That happened about two years ago. I havent been back since, even though I had a good relationship with the former employees (Ruth!) and spent thousands of dollars there over at least a decade.I now make my purchases at 10th Avenue Liquors, even though its quite a bit out of my way. Still better than having to deal with a guy that looks like he just broke out of a Supermax prison!

Just moved to Portland from NY, prices are about the same, maybe a few dollars less. Pretty good whiskey/rye selection. Guy behind the counter was friendly.

This liquor store carries a great selection and on top of that is in a convenient location if you are grabbing a supplies from Phil’s Meat Market. While their beer selection could be wider, they make up for it with a big array of every basic spirit and often have samplings. Good people.

Great hole in the wall liquor store. They get in some choice whisky at different times. Like the Multnomah Whisky Library Woodinville Rye barrel pick. Definitely a great place to stop in and check out if you are in the area

Friendly staff, good selection of whiskey and scotch. Unfortunately the two bottles I asked about that I didnt find on the shelf were in stock but are sold to restaurants only. Ill stick with my regular liquor store.

Didnt buy any liquor, but hey,they has disornos pizza and it was very tasty. Only came here once but it was nice and clean and we were in and out within a jiffy. Very quiet neighborhood and I swear I only saw 1 other person on the street.

Of course the liquor is plentiful, however not as plentiful as the great personalities that run the place, they make me wanna get them all shots.

These folks tend to carry a lot of the hard to find liquor in Portland so I very much appreciate them for that. The store is seemingly always stocking bottles as things are strewn about - this can make finding what you want a little difficult but still manageable.

I love this place. The staff is always really helpful and knowledgable. I havent experienced any sketchy customers, mostly locals. Its not fancy or ritzy, but its a good business. Also, theyre open 10-7pm Monday through Saturday.

Do not appreciate being asked if I have been drinking, when I havent. Credit card machine was Supposively not working?!! Went and withdrew some cash. I came back and I get asked if somethings Wrong with me?!! Not the best way to show me your appreciation for my business. I dont get the feeling (this certain person) wants my business. I just moved to the area. I guess this person doesnt care for me? But why? I dont even want to go there! Location is nearby though. I live on NW GLISAN.

The staff was very nice and friendly. Unfortunately, the prices are absurd. I just moved to Portland from Massachusetts, so it may just be Oregon prices (which is weird because there is tax on liquor is MA). But still, I could not believe how bad the prices were. Bacardi was $30 for a handle. I do not even remember the last time I paid $20 a handle because back home you can get it for $17. I also did not see the vodka brands I usually drink which were Vesica and Russian Standard Platinum. Although they did have Kraken which I love. Terribly priced though. I usually get it for $22 a handle. Here it was $20 for a fifth. I really hope that the rest of Oregon does not have prices this high.

Knowledgeable staff and great, well laid-out selection

A worker, possibly the manager, (due to the way he behaves), (basic description is tattoos all over and is severely poor attitude) of tattoos and a severely poor attitude is a very mean degrading individual. He makes 8inme feel like I am scum of the Earth he does the same thing to my boyfriend. We are peaceful good hygiene customers either buying cigarettes or liquor. For the past 2 years straight we are considering another liquor store for our patronage. An example of what this man does if you can even call him a man. Because of what he does and how he treats women. He never puts my change in my hand he always puts my change on the counter. So now I do the same putting my money on the counter but his reaction is just to stand there staring at my money on the counter for at least one whole minute 60 seconds total staring at it and then he grabs the money and does the transaction and then put the change on the table. Prior to this I would hand him my money and he would be careful not to touch me and the one time he did actually touch my hand he insisted on pumping hand sanitizer into his hand and rubbing it in like he had just touched something disgusting.As of July 2018 Im adding to my post that guy I mentioned previously the bald guy with all the tattoos that works there hes probably in his mid to late forties possibly early 50s. Well anyways he still works there and hes still such a rude degrading person. He will make you feel like trash before you leave the store. Ive seen 3 people steal alcohol from there and none of the employees even care at all its ridiculous they literally walk in grab it and walk out. I think that is a bit stupid due to the fact that prices will be raised for people like me who actually pay for their products full price. Im going to keep hoping and wishing that this guy ends up getting fired or transfers he should not work with the public at all ever again maybe his boss is scared of him and thats why he wont fire him very likely thats the case. Anyways the liquor store itself aside from the guy that is mean is clean quite small has just about everything you need and if they dont they will let you know where to go to get what you want. And usually theres only about three people at most in the line so its pretty fast in and out and if you have questions about anything someone there will be glad to help you. Maybe not that bald guy though dont ask him for help LOL. unless you want to feel like an idiot from what he says to you.

Good selection of standard stuff. Poor selection of brandy, armangnac and other eau de vie. The management is uninterested in petitioning the OLCC to correct this situation. So I go to Vancouver to Total Wine for good brandies. Too bad that customer opinions arent as important as profits.

Evil tattooed man with glasses at the counter discriminates any kind of disability..... talk to the new owner the man is still evil and horrible. If I could pull cameras he drops my change into my disabled hand from 4in above. Rude. He should be in the back not near any people. Horrible.
