My visit here was very disappointing.Unfortunately when I arrived during listed open hours, it was closed. In speaking to the landlord who said that open hours are sporadic and that there are health issues at play. Regardless, the store looked unkempt and though it hasnt been open for a while from what I could see. The canvases that are meant to be hanging in the window are falling down and looks like they are piled up inside and/or on the floor. The website and Google listing make it look incredibly appealing which is misleading as I am now unsure if the few photos shown are the actual interior. A lot of threads are kept in large plastic bins in the office next door. The review from 4 years ago saying the place looks abandoned is accurate.I would suggest instead of having open hours listed, it be changed to by appointment to accomodate the needs of the owner and to prevent visitors such as myself from being disappointed in the future.

Tried to go there yesterday. It looks completely abandoned with stuff on the floor visible from the front door.

This is a shame. I ordered Oriental Linen thread on April 18, 2020. Received e-mail stating it was shipped April 21, 2020. By May 22, 2020, I have yet to receive it. I inquired about this order and was informed the tracking information said it was delivered on April 27, 2020. It was never delivered to my mailbox. The response I received from this company was they would not replace or refund. Thats not how retailers are supposed to treat customers. Ill now have to find this tread elsewhere. Needless to say, I wont be placing any more orders with The Needle Art Closet.HaHaHa, the owner is trying to portray herself as a honest, upfront retailer. Far from it. All over a measly $9.75 order. Now to worry, Ms. Karen, as a 30+ yr needlepointer I have a large group to pass this information to. Along with the Better Business Bureau and/or State Attorney of Oregon.

I was able to order online. Karen was very thoughtful and easy to work with. I hope to order from again soon.
