Rain or shine this place is special. We had the plum and apricot flavors and the care to texture, taste, and detail was obvious from the get go. The flavors take no prisoners, and as I type this Im going back for a cookie. Dont miss out!

Easily the best Ice Cream in Portsmouth. The perfect stop before a walk through Strawberry Banke or around the parks and waterside. The menu rotates often (about once a week) and you cant go wrong with any pick.

This ice cream is something special. I had the dairy free plum, and the balance of creaminess and tartness was out of this world! I’ve never had dairy free ice cream that tasted so good! The black raspberry and chocolate cookie caramel were also phenomenal. Beautifully served with a tiny, crispy cone on top, we loved every bite!

The first night I came, I tried the brown sugar nectarine 🍑 it was so creamy and flavorful. I promptly came back the next night. Honestly haven’t had better ice cream. The couple who runs it are very friendly, and they make everything with fresh ingredients. I can’t wait to come back!

Amazingly good! The strawberry ice cream ginger snap cookie sandwich combined perfectly, and just the ice cream itself was one of the best strawberry ones I’ve ever had.

Incredibly rich, balanced homemade ice cream. 100% best in Portsmouth.They don’t have a huge variety of flavors at one time, but all their flavors are incredible. I absolutely love their fruit flavors... the strawberry and plum are some of my all time favorites - perfectly tart and super fresh. Cookies sandwiches are to die for also - definitely give them a try!

Amazing ice cream done right. You can feel the love, skill and quality ingredients they usein every bit. Ice-cream which doesn’t make you thirsty (well balanced sweetnesses). The Plum and Almond brittle flavors were immensely tasty. Looking forward to be able to visit red rover creamery again 😋😊🙏🏻😋

Their ice cream is insane and perfect in the summer but they *really* shine in the fall. Apple huckleberry crisp, spiced pluot sherbet, apple cider cardamom ice cream... All incredible. Their Thanksgiving pre order desserts are HUGE and definitely the best thing we had on our table. Definitely a do not miss in Portsmouth!

Best ice cream In Portsmouth we have had so far! Just a handful of flavors, but all of them amazing. Given how rich their simple vanilla ice cream tastes, it must be the high quality ingredients. Friendly staff. Portions are just right and so is the pricing. Minimal use of plastic.

Ice cream was amazing. Best mint chip I’ve ever had! The mint they used to make their ice cream was growing in the store. Staff was super friendly, explaining how they made some of their flavors. I’ll make sure to come back whenever I’m in Portsmouth.

Had the nectarine snickerdoodle sandwich and a cup of the cream fraische with wild blueberries. Both were excellent. Service was exceptional; we felt like the owner (?) sincerely appreciated our patronage. 10/10 will be back!
