I found my wedding dress yesterday here yesterday! It is such a cute shop and it was an amazing experience. My stylist, Taylor, pulled a really great variety of dresses she thought I should try on and really listened to our feedback. She also made sure I felt like I tried on enough different styles and that I was confident in my top 2 choices (before ultimately picking the one!). It was a great experience and I would highly recommend.

From my first visit to my last alteration the experience was that out of a movie. My initial appointment was so joyful and I felt so comfortable with my stylist, Taylor. I was able to try on such a truly beautiful range of dresses. I fell in love with the most beautiful dress and my stylist paired it with an equally elegant veil I would of never thought of. Fast forward to my alterations with Vera, I have never felt in better hands. I felt so beautiful every time I left an appointment with her. Veras expertise and knowledge created a dress that was unimaginably breath-taking and for that I am so grateful for making me feel and look like the absolute most best and beautiful version of myself on my wedding day.

As a wedding planner in Maryland, this is my favorite shop to refer brides! Most times when a client is struggling to find what they want somewhere else, they end up finding it here. We also have had many brides find their dress in just 1 visit here! The consultants are very good at refining our brides personal style, and I love that they allow us to send them ideas in advance to help streamline the process as well. Highly recommended! Can not say enough good things about Love Couture. The boutique itself is beautiful. The gown selection is amazing-- by far the best I have seen in the area. Lalique was our stylist, and she was absolutely phenomenal at what she does. She listened to what I wanted and pulled the perfect dresses. She also was so helpful with suggesting ways the dresses could be customized to better fit what I wanted. You can tell she truly enjoys what she does and has such an eye for it. Sandy, the owner, was also there helping and was just as wonderful. They both made the experience so enjoyable and truly made you feel special. The appointment was also scheduled for 1.5 hours (which is already longer than most other appointments were scheduled for), but we were there for over 3 hours and never felt rushed or like they were trying to speed us along to get to the next appointment. If you are looking for wedding dresses in the area, this is the only place you should go!

The woman who helped us was so sweet (I forget her name). She was very helpful, pulled just the right gowns, and even sent my daughter a thank you note. We bought a gown here and it was a lovely experience.

This boutique completely exceeded my expectations! When I went in it was my third dress shopping experience and 2nd store looking in. I just so happened to be in town AND snag an appointment for an amazing trunk show they had. The selection of dresses are AMAZING throughout the store, there is a dress for every bride on every budget and the staff are phenomenal! I told them what I was looking for and they pulled dresses based on my likes and dislikes and helped me narrow my search done till I found the one. Paige was my consultant and she did such a great job along with all the other smiling faces and wonderful compliments from everyone else in the store. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SHOP HERE! Going to love couture bridal was one of the best decisions I made. Sarah was the person to help me, and she was awesome! The first time I went by myself and she made me feel confident in all I wore and helped me to take pictures and videos as well. She definitely went above and beyond to meet my needs. Love Couture Bridal beat my expectations. I am a street size 12 and dress shopping had me a bit concerned for the industry tends to cater to smaller sizes. I ended up making two appointments with Candi who made the process wonderful for my friends and family and made me feel confortable and confident. I would highly recommend this place to everyone for even if they don’t stock a dress; they are constantly having trunk shows which gives you more options. In my case, I ended up finding my dream dress in The Lazaro trunk show and even though I wasn’t able to try on the dress for it was a small sample size I felt confident in my choice after trying on other similar designs. But when you know you know. I can’t wait for my dress to arrive. To all the ladies out there ask for Candi. She is a sweetheart and just so helpful and encouraging. Also, for those first time brides don’t feel discourage to make a second appointment. I had no idea what silhouette or material I wanted but trying things on really helped. I went home empty handed after my first appointment but kept looking at pictures I’ve taken in different dresses. This helped me have a clear vision of what I wanted on my second appointment and also how I knew my dress would fit perfectly.

I had a wonderful experience at Love Couture! First, the shop is beautiful and quaint. You feel like you are being treated to a special experience. Mary was so helpful and she felt like my personal cheerleader the whole time. She was so supportive and really took an interest in me and what I was looking for. Both were so warm and friendly and made us even more excited about the dress shopping experience.Love Couture has an amazing selection of dresses! I knew I wanted a Hayley Paige (though they also had so many other beautiful gowns) and they had so many for me to try on, including several I had seen online and was dying to try on in store. Sarah helped me decide which I wanted to try on and encouraged me to try different styles (which was very helpful since it was my first time shopping!). Even though we were there early on a Sunday afternoon, it didn’t feel overcrowded and we appreciated the privacy you don’t get at other stores.Sarah was an amazing consultant, so encouraging and felt like you were working with a good friend. From start to finish, my entire experience with Love Couture Bridal was a dream!This was my second bridal shop experience after a disastrous first try, and I was feeling apprehensive that it would be similarly disappointing. I initially went to the Presidents Day Sample Sale and worked with Candi to find a dress that I liked, but didnt love so I ended up passing on it. I went to three other appointments the following weekend and still wasnt wowed. I came back to Love Couture and worked with Candi once again. She listened to me and got me into the (unexpected) dress of my dreams! I had this idea of what I thought I wanted and was not getting it until she asked me to take a chance and trust her. My daughter had searched for the perfect wedding gown for her October wedding and when we walked into Love Couture Bridal and met with Candi we both knew this might just be the place she found “the dress”. Candi thoughtfully listened to my daughter’s desires in a dress and then she, along with us picked multiple gowns to try on. Candi’s eye was perfect and the 4th dress she picked was amazing! My daughters quite tall and Candi immediately knew she needed to order extra length if the gown was to fit like a glove. She also managed to produce a veil that looked like it was made for that dress. I can’t say enough about our wonderful experience at Love Couture Bridal. A fabulous shop with fabulous consultants! They have a large selection of designer gowns and I would recommend this shop for any bride looking for an amazing bridal experience in this area.I came here last month to purchase my wedding dress with my mother and maid of honor. We were greeted by a friendly team at the front desk, and were escorted to a private dressing area with a soft robe and space for my guests to feel comfortable.My consultant, Perri, closely listened to the types of dresses I wanted to try on and chose amazing gowns that fit my wedding vision. After trying on several gowns, she was able quickly identify the gown that I eventually said said yes to!I was unsure about whether to say yes at first because I made an I didnt want to pay a fee for cancelling my other appointments that day. After I told Perri this, the shop able to cover the fees for me. That was all I needed to feel 1000 times better to stop shopping and to say yes to the dress I love.Afterward, I took a photo with their I said Yes sign and we popped a bottle of champagne that I got to take home with me.I want to thank Perri and the rest of the staff for a fabulous shopping experience. The staff at Love Couture made my dress shopping experience so incredibly pleasant and stress-free. I had no idea what I was looking for in a gown, although I had a specific designer in mind. They were the second boutique I shopped at, and the consultant was amazing at helping me narrow down exactly what I was looking for by asking the right questions and putting me in a variety of gowns. My first visit to Love Couture was a little bit emotional, as my mother was unable to attend due to extreme weather in my hometown. Love Couture allowed me to FaceTime her in so she could see the front-runner - I know a lot of places won’t allow this. They even ensured that the gown I liked could stay in their boutique (it was a loaner from somewhere else) for an extra week so she could come see it in person. I ended up going with another gown altogether once I had my mom in-store; it was a trunk show special my consultant Sarah pulled for me that I would have never chosen for myself off the rack but was absolutely perfect in every way. I worked with their contracted seamstress for my alterations, which were done professionally and promptly, as well as in line with prices elsewhere. You owe it to yourself to put Love Couture Bridal on your list.

I cant speak highly enough of my experience this past weekend at Love Couture! Candy was a perfect consultant and the entire experience went so smoothly. As this was my first time trying dresses on, I wasnt expecting to commit to anything, but the prices were great for the quality of product and Candy knew exactly what to pull for me just by reading my body language while trying on dresses. The place is gorgeous on the inside, definitely a nice place to start at! Each dress is more gorgeous than the other. I didnt find this place until after I had gotten my dress, but was still looking for a veil. They were very helpful and worked with my mom and I to design the veil of my dreams. They referred us to a GREAT seamstress whos absolutely wonderful to work with and is very talented (as they said she would be!). The place is a bit pricey, but the experience is great.

Candi made the experience less stressful. She listened to how I felt about the dresses, gave me a chance to explore different styles of dresses, and helped me figure out what fit my body type. She was a delight!

I feel lucky to have worked with Francoise at Love Couture!! From the moment my mom and I walked into the salon we had a good feeling. Francoise listened to what I was looking for, what I liked and didnt like, and was calm and kind through the whole appointment, not pushy at all. She walked us through the entire salon to show us all of the beautiful dresses, and I had the luxury of choosing the gowns that I wanted to try, which many other salons didnt let me do. The gown I purchased is from a 2018 collection and none of the 5+ other salons I went to prior to this one had any dresses that new! I had a marathon wedding dress shopping weekend with my mom and sister and Love Couture Bridal was our first stop. Alex was wonderful- she listened to everything I had to say and the very first dress she brought out was EXACTLY what I was looking for. Such an amazing experience! I had been to 7 other dress stores before coming to Love Couture. I fell in love with a dress from another store for $9,000. Way out of my budget. I never thought I would find anything like it. When I went into love couture, Linda really listened to me when I explained what I was looking for. She found me an AMAZING gown that I loved even more than the $9000 gown. It was a great price too. She was awesome!!Make sure you set your appointment with Linda! She is the absolute best.

I wanted to write a review because I saw a negative review about my sales associate, Candi. I came in for the Pronovias trunk show b/c I researched dresses ahead of time and this was my favorite designer. For future brides out there - definitely narrow down your designers, it will really help when trying on dresses. My experience was very positive with Candi. She did not pressure me to pick anything and was super understanding when I was being indecisive. I am plus-size so of course nothing really fit and she went above and beyond to help me get the dresses draped and clipped to see what it would look like on. I didnt feel any pressure from her at all. She also was able to anticipate my taste when pulling different gowns AND pulled gowns I would never have dreamed would look good on me and were my favorites. The salon is small so if you go on the weekend, you should not bring more than two people with you. I was told weekday appointments were much less crowded and could accommodate I think it was up to 8 people. If you can, I would go during the week. I am planning to get my dress altered with them as well so once I am through that experience I will update my review with how that went as well.

Both my sister and I purchased our gowns here and had an amazing experience. We both had Francoise and she is patient and listens to what you want. My sister went here first and didnt have an exact idea of what she wanted but Francoise pulled multiple gowns that were perfect on her and it didnt take long for her to say yes to a gorgeous gown. A year later I came back for a trunk show of a designer I loved for a dress I had been looking at for over 6 months. Although I knew what I wanted, Francoise pulled other dresses similar and made my decision even harder. In the end I chose the dress I had been wanting but there were many other contenders that were equally gorgeous. They have a wide variety to chose from. Francoise was easy to work with and extremely kind. I recommend this shop and most importantly Francoise to anyone!

She was knowledgeable and fun but totallly not pushy. Yolanda did the alterations, she is the sweetest and really worked and worked at it until it fit perfectly! I got married this October and everyone loved my dress and told me how “me” it was. Definitely would recommend.

My sister went to this store 4 years ago and warned me that she had a bad experience. They were rude to our mom and the MOG then. Right off the bat, the worker told me and my group that we could look through some of the dresses, but then the receptionist proceeded to approach us a few minutes later to tell us we couldnt do that. The receptionist was a grouch/rude and really should not be working there. There were many things that went wrong during the appointment but overall this store just doesnt give you the positive vibes like all of the other stores that I visited did. They were annoyed at my mom when she asked for cups for the water...I liked a dress from there but my group and I left feeling frustrated at the workers overall so I wanted to give my business elsewhere.

I enjoyed working with Candi 100%. However, I was not able to show the guests with me each dress I tried on because I spent the majority of my time in a room by myself while Candi chose dresses for me. I would have preferred to have the ability to choose my own dresses, because I feel as though I may have missed some that I might have liked!

I could not recommend Love Couture Bridal enough. They went above and beyond to make my experience as smooth and easy as possible. From the glass of champagne for me and my friends, to the hand written note I received a few weeks after purchasing my dress, they made everything spectacular. I bought a sample dress that was entirely too big for me. I was nervous about getting it sized down, but Love Couture Bridal gave me contact information for a seamstress in Manassas, Virginia named Anna Rodrigues. She was a miracle worker! My dress fits me like a glove and you would have no idea that the dress was originally about 6 sizes too big. Thank you all so much for your help. I have been telling and will continue to tell all my friends about Love Couture Bridal and Anna!

I feel like this is the Forever21 of bridal shops without being super cheap. Everything about the location, atmosphere, service, and dresses was average and slightly tacky.... in my opinion. There was nothing special

Do not do any business with them over the phone or via email!!! I recently had to purchase a bridesmaid dress. I had my measurements taken based on the chart they sent me and gave them my meausurements. They proceeded to tell me I needed a size 18 because I was between a size 16/18 and that I should go up to make sure it fit. I let Linda the woman know that I had reservation about this size as it was very large and Ive never worn a size 18 and I wear a size 8 in regular clothing. She said that their sizes dont correlate and its usual to up a size blah blah blah. I understood that but I still told her it was too big. She talked me into the 18 and I had to pay extra because it was an extra large size. I received the dress and its HUGE completely unwearable and I had to have it altered for $200. Not only altered but totally reconstructed into a new dresss because there is so much fabric. Not only did I pay $340 for my dress to begin with I now have to pay an extra $200 plus multiple dress fittings, my time and gas money to drive to and from appointments. The dress alone now costs $510 because the manager refunded $30 for the extra cost of the larger size. That was the best they could do. Almost insulting. They may be great in store but do not recommend them to anyone living outside of their city!Anna Meyers

I really did not enjoy my bridal appointment at this salon. My attendant was snotty and seemed to have an attitude to her. When I told her I wanted to keep the dress under $1500 she made a face like that price point was beneath her. After describing to her what I was looking for (fitted lace mermaid gown) she showed my party and I around the store. They had a very small selection of lace gowns and I was not impressed with any of them. I think I pulled one gown off the rack and that was a sample for sale. She then went and looked through her stock room and returned with another 5-6 dresses.She did not help me into any of the gowns and did a really poor job of clamping the gowns to my body. All of the samples were 2-4 sizes too big for me and she did not clip them tight enough for me to get a good feel of how the gown would look on me. When she put a gown on me and I would describe to her why I didnt like the gown, she got snotty. For one gown, I told her that I wished that the lace extended all the way down the gown (it cut off mid thigh) to which she replied well then it would look like every other lace gown. Hmm, well maybe thats what I want. No need to have an attitude. She had an attitude to my party as well. Its like she took our criticism of the gowns personally.In my appointment before this store, I had tried on 10 different beautiful gowns that were all very close to what I wanted and I did not see anything at this store that even came close to those gowns. This store looks nice, like what you think a bridal salon should look like but the service was poor. I felt like my attendant dismissed me as a customer as soon as she saw my price point. I spent all of 20 minutes in this store and would not recommend it to others.

WOW! Just WOW! My bridal party and family cant stop talking about Love Couture. This is the best bridal shop in the DC-area. We started our Black Friday dress hunt in Georgetown before heading to Love Couture. From the moment you walk in the door, there are several women excited to help you find your perfect gown! The decor of the studio is gorgeous. They offer champagne which always makes for a perfect shopping experience.I showed Sandy my Pinterest board and her team of ladies started collecting dresses around the store for my personal dressing room, which really is a spacious room with furniture (so nice). I received a one on one personal consultation which felt genuine.When I tried on THE dress, everyone oohed and aahed which is exactly what you want on your wedding day. If you want amazing service and an amazing quality gown that will make your guests swoon, then go to Love Couture.

They have the friendliest staff! The gown selection and customer service cannot be beat by any bridal salon in the area.

I dont normally write reviews but I had to say that this was the best experience and customer service I have ever had. I was by myself because I am in the Army and away from my family but Francoise did not judge me and made me feel completely comfortable. She pulled dresses that were amazing and gave me more information about the truck show they are having in October and booked me with the desinger. Long story short, I ended up not buying from Love Couture only because my mom could not make it and bought another dress for me (sometimes you cant help what the family wants), but Katie the store manager helped me find a seamstress in the area that made a rush order and I was able to wear the dress for my elopment AND reception/renewal in a year when the family can attend.

I chose Love Couture Bridal because of the great reviews and ratings; I wanted a quality dress and experience. My Mom and I were thrilled with the saleswoman who sold me my dress and veil. It was a Sareh Nouri soft trumpet with scalloped lace. I would only purchase it if a noticeable seam around the waste could be removed, the eyelashes on the lace could be removed, and the lace on the veil would match that of the top and hem of the dress. The saleswoman called the dressmaker directly and pulled her manager over while my mom and I were standing there to give us assurance that these alterations could be made successfully. When it arrived, the dress not only still had the seam, but the lace was also completely tucked in on the top with no scalloping whatsoever now, and the hem lace had jagged edges where the eyelashes had been cut off. Furthermore, the dress was far too long, the lining was inches longer than the dress, and one side of the dress was longer than the other. It was incredibly disappointing to me after paying thousands of dollars for the dress and knowing I wouldn’t have time to order a different dress if everything couldn’t be fixed. The seamstress could not fix the seam as had been promised, so they sewed a line of fabric around the seam to try to hide it. I was told lace never looks good when the eyelashes are cut off – something the store neglected to tell me originally. They agreed to put scalloped lace with eyelashes back on the top and hem, but Love Couture wanted to charge me ~$400 for backordered lace. When I was appalled at this request considering how much I had already paid and what had been originally promised, I was told that it was my “choice to look at it with a glass half empty.” We discovered the week before my wedding the new lace didn’t match that of the veil, causing another fiasco. In the end, the lace on the veil/top of the dress didn’t match the lace on the hem, all the lace had eyelashes, and the seam hadn’t been removed.

Ruined my entire bridal experience.I got engaged in February 2016 and I was over-the-moon excited...but then in March my mom was diagnosed with very advanced ovarian cancer and everything changed.I was not really in the bridal mood when I arrived at the store, I was also slightly emotionally fragile because well, my mom wasnt there. She had planned on coming but when the day came she couldnt get out of bed. I told Candy, my consultant, I did NOT want to buy a dress that day, that I didnt feel comfortable buying a dress when my mom was not there-I was simply there to try on dresses and should I like one of Hayley Paige gowns I wound certainly come back to the store and purchase. She nodded and listened-but deep down she really just wanted to make the sale.I tried on a few dresses but one really struck me, the one I had been looking at for almost a year (pre-engagement ...we all do it). I loved it. Candy could tell there was some hesitation there but she persisted Facetime your mom...once your mom feels better she can come here to see you try it on during your first fitting....today is the only day you will get 10% off your dress, you dont want to miss that opportunity....doesnt your mom want you to choose a dress that you love....ON AND ON. After much persistence I purchased the dress-my mom paid for it via credit card OVER THE PHONE. It made me sick to my stomach.The next day I did not feel right at all about my decision and I called to cancel the order. I was on the phone with the front desk girl, explained my situation...my mom has cancer, I dont feel right about her not being there....etc. I get put on hold and Candy comes back on the phone-Im sorry Jessie but dresses are final sale once processed.About a week later I get a call from Candy stating they needed to special order my dress in a split size because my measurements are not of typical sizing. She told me they needed to order a 6 on top, a 4 in the waist and a 10 on the bottom. I said I thought you already ordered my dress...thats what you told me when I tried to call and cancel...She explained that processed and ordered were two different things. Im sorry-I didnt like my experience before but I thought perhaps I was being sensitive due to the circumstances but now I know she was just looking for a sale and has zero regard for my actual needs and feelings.Few months later-Ive decided I dont really love my dress, probably more due to the experience rather than the actual dress and maybe an overskirt for my dress would change the look for the ceremony. Since Love Couture is one of the only places that carries Hayley Paige gowns I called to ask if they carried the overskirts. I ONLY wanted to try them on there-never in a million years would I give them any more of mine or my mothers money. They put me on hold and Candy comes on-Jessie we do have the overskirts here in the store...I can also order a few for you to come try on. I have to tell you-Im not sure we will have the overskirts in the store for a long period of time so if you know which one you want you should come in soon...I told her I wasnt prepared to come in until October when my mom was through with chemo and she insisted that I should then PURCHASE THE SKIRT OVER THE PHONE AND THEN WHEN MY MOM WAS FEELING BETTER SHE COULD COME IN AND SEE ME TRY IT ON. wait, what?! I said Candy-I cannot purchase another thing from that bridal shop without my mom being there-I already told you that and Im unwilling to purchase something IVE NEVER TRIED ON.So now we are here-present day and I just picked up my Hayley Paige gown. Its too SMALL. I told Candy when I went in there to try it on that it was snug around the hips. She assured me the seamstress would be able to take it out a few inches. I do not believe a single word that comes out of that womans mouth. This is to be determined as I have an appointment with a seamstress/tailor next week. Something tells me its not going to be as easy fix as she stated.

Found my wedding 👗😍

So after reading a few reviews that were iffy and made the shop sound almost snooty I decided that I felt like baking and made pumpkin spice cookies for the ladies at Love Couture Bridal. Can I just say that idk if it was the cookies but everyone there was super nice. The boutique was clean and bright and honestly it was my favorite bridal shop ive been to. And Ive been to 5 others. There were a few or more rows of dresses on display in the boutique including their trunk show pieces and then the rest of their stock is in the back and they pull dresses for you that they think you may like. I told her my budget and she was very respectful and even tried to steer me away from gowns that were not within my budget. I picked a bunch of dresses from the racks and we decided to try those on before finding others. My girl was Lalique and she was so patient and kind. I like everything. Ive loved at least one dress at almost every boutique but had a hard time finding the one dress and she didnt seem annoyed or frustrated at all. If I didnt like a dress we tried on that was fine, on to the next. Until I found it. A beautiful Etsy-like Love Marley gown with a cathedral train. Wow. I had actually gone to this boutique to try on a totally different WTOO dress that they ended up not even carrying and Im so glad b/c I found an even better dress. I had also heard through reviews that this boutique raises the gown prices (which from my gown research is not true) If they do its only by a hundred dollars if that. Lalique offered me 10% off if i ordered in the next few days which takes care of the hundred dollars anyways and basically makes it a trunk show price. She made buying an expensive gown so much less stressful. She answered all my questions patiently about alterations and made me feel super comfortable and was very reassuring while not pushy at all. I really felt like she cared about what I wore on my wedding day and how it made me feel. Thank you so much Lalique! I cannot wait to get my gown in and go back and put it on! Amazing Service!! posted 12/27/2013 (updated 12/27/2013)Linda at Love Couture was amazing from the start. I had a vision in mind of exactly what I wanted and I wouldnt stop until I found it! Against my wedding planners advice I didnt start looking for dresses until about 7 weeks before wedding...I knew my choice would be limited but I just hate trying things on and I love to shop alone. I emailed Linda a list of dresses that I was looking for, and she responded quickly letting me know which dresses they had. We scheduled a time for me to come in and try everything on, I wasnt happy with anything that I thought I liked but Linda was understanding exactly what I wanted. She ended grabbing a gown that I had never seen before and urged me to try it on. It was love, sweet beautiful love. The dress made me feel amazing, and exactly the way I wanted to feel on my wedding day. I didnt want to take it off. I still had one more store to visit, and decided that I needed to try the other dress to see how it made me feel. If it didnt compare then I would know that the Ysa Makino was the one for me. I just couldnt decide....so I did the next best thing...I sent pictures of the dresses to my wedding planner Elle Ellinghaus. She has phenomenal taste, and she had been doing such a great job and always knew exactly what I truly wanted and making me feel confident in my choices! She picked my Ysa Makino gown!!! I let Linda know right away that I had to have the dress!! I decided to add a custom corset to the dress to get more of the fit of I wanted. Linda knew that it would work perfectly and she was right!! My alterations were performed on site, and the seamstress was amazing!Everything turned out perfectly and I couldnt be happier with my choice to use Love Couture Bridal!!!
