The assertive yet helpful owner has been in the wedding dress industry since she was a child watching her successful mother’s store. You must make a stop here and hope you get lucky finding ‘the one’. She has a keen design eye for what you should try on to make it comfortable and easy. Make your appointment!

Pamela and Connie are amazing!This was the first (and only) bridal store I visited and I highly recommend it. I was immediately greeted by Pamela and her staff making me feel very welcomed and excited about the experience. They helped me browse the many beautiful and affordable dresses they had. I appreciated Pamela’s honest opinion which helped me narrow down my many options. I bought my dress that day (in Jan 2021) and canceled all of my other bridal store appointments because I felt very happy with my dress and it was very convenient that Connie could do my alterations in June, which gave me plenty of time to be ready for my Aug 2021 wedding. I tried my dress yesterday, a week before my wedding, and it didn’t close right. I was freaking out and called Pamela, she told me to come when I was available and I did today. Connie and her showed my mother and I how to close it properly and it fit right, just like it did when she did the initial alterations which only took her two weeks. Thank you!!

Let’s start off by saying everything happens for a reason! I had bought my original wedding dress from another shop in the area. Two weeks before my wedding day I had my final fitting. The seamstress did a horrible job fitting the dress to my body shape. She completely altered the style of my dress and it just didn’t look right on me. After google searching bridal shops in the area to find a dress in such a short timeframe, I found Pamela’s bridal shop and called her right away. I explained my situation to her & She scheduled an appointment for me the next day. She pulled out all the dresses for me and believe it or not she had the same exact wedding dress in stock and in my size!!! I couldn’t believe I came across the same wedding dress. It didn’t need much altering except for hemming which was done perfectly. Pamela even went out of her way to sell my original wedding dress for me in her shop. I can’t thank her enough for saving me from such a nightmare!

Walking into the store, I was immediately greeted by Pamela. She had such a warm, welcoming yet loving personality that made me feel very comfortable. She was able to listen and show me available styles for my wedding dress. Even though I didnt purchase any items she was able to search via styles for me from other stores. She called as promised with a response and I am so grateful for her. I did purchase accessories and so happy with the customer service and will inform all of my future bridal friends to shop with her!

This was my first experience in a bridal salon and Pamela made sure that it was personalized from start to finish. I really enjoyed being able to be in the salon with just my mom and I with Pamela showing us all the cool and unique dresses. She assured me that there were no appointments after me and said to take as much time as needed. I was a little anxious that I would be hurried in and out but that wasn’t the case at all.Pamela respected what I was asking for and also made sure that I tried on dresses that weren’t my usual style to make sure I wasn’t missing out on something that I may potentially like. She was open and honest when dresses were not flattering or just weren’t for me. She also made sure to be very transparent with pricing as I am definitely a bride on a budget. There was no pressure to buy the most expensive thing in the shop and I was able to try on at least 10 dresses while I was there.We fended up finding THE dress and I could not be happier or more impressed with Pamela and Say Yes for Less. I always assumed that finding a wedding dress would be so difficult because of what I’d seen on TV but this was the exact opposite experience. I was so calm and confident in my decision and Pamela made sure that I will be put in something absolutely unique to me on my wedding day.All of the anxiety I experienced prior to coming into the shop was eased by Pamela and it was a very personal and individualized experience. I would recommend Say Yes for Less for all of the future brides amongst my family and friends!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Pamela and Say Yes for Less. I began my wedding dress search by going to all of the shops in DC and the suburbs, but was having a very hard time finding something that I truly loved in my budget (~$4k). A neighbor told me about SYFL and thank goodness she did! My experience with Pamela was refreshing. She was very honest, down to earth, and not pushy or overly sweet like some stylists at other shops had been. She has a great eye for what will fit your body (and budget) and it is clear that she has a ton of experience in the industry. The shop is meticulously clean and organized with large dressing rooms. Pamela has a large selection of beautiful veils and bridal jewelry as well. All of the dresses look brand new and have been professionally cleaned. There certainly is not patio furniture inside as another reviewer mentioned—there are adorable wrought iron tables and chairs for plenty of seating if friends or family come along. Since she sees customers by appointment only, I was always given complete and undivided attention. While the concept is designer dresses at a fraction of the price, I never once felt as if I was in a discount shop. I ended up purchasing a Vera Wang gown that still sells for full price!I also completed my alterations with Pamela and Connie, which was another great experience. Connie is skilled, professional, and completed all of my alterations with one visit. I have been raving about SYFL to everyone I know getting married and I can’t wait to wear my dress next month!

I had a great experience purchasing my dress, with the help of 2 very sweet ladies! However, I do not recommend this place for alterations. Not only was Pam rude to her employees but Pam wanted to charge us nearly the same price as the dress to complete my alterations. When I asked if there was a way to bring the price down, she because VERY aggressive towards me and my mother. When I told her she needed to calm down and give us a moment to process, she was very condescending. She told us that I wouldn’t find anyone who would do it for less... and she was WRONG! Mei’s Alterations in Gaithersburg did it for less than half of what Pam’s prices were, and she did a FANTASTIC job! Had I known about Mei’s boutique, I would have purchased my wedding dress there too. Pam was one of the rudest people I have ever crossed paths with, and I’ve worked in customer service, so that should tell you something.

The employee Mary was very nice during my visit. However, the lady Pam was very unkind to my family. She was very rude and condescending. Honestly, there’s patio furniture inside and the office lighting is not flattering. Pam tried to say a dress that was pinned to a mannequin and was yellowing at the top was “close to $5,000”. Honestly wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. REALLY glad it was my first stop of the day because I went to Couture Bridal right after and had an incredible experience. Thankfully I got a dress there instead.

Cant say enough positive things about my experience here. I went into wedding dress shopping with the mindset that I would not find anything at all - Im not a huge fan of bridal dresses, and I couldnt really put to words what it was I was looking for. Say Yes For Less had so many unique options to look through, and you got to look through everything they had on the floor, which was great. I probably tried on 15 or 16 in the store (picked by me, my mom, and my stylist), and while all of the dresses were beautiful, nothing felt right until I put on the last dress on my rack - one I had seen out of the corner of my eye that I didnt really think Id go for, but was interesting. The second I put it on I knew it was the one, and so did everyone else in the store! It was the perfect mix of being a wedding dress without bridal, and extremely unique (I doubt Ill ever find someone else wearing it) - and to top it off, was 75% off retail price! To be sure, that same day I went to a more standard bridal boutique to try more options, and nothing came close to the dress I found, or my experience at Say Yes For Less. While they had nice options, they were all very standard that Ive seen all over Instagram. I went back to Say Yes For Less the next day to get my dress, and havent looked back since! They also do alterations in-store, and they were perfect after one fitting. Pamela, the owner, made the process so unbelievably easy and fun - I cant thank her enough for helping me find my dress!!

Pamela is amazing. She really knows her stuff. If you like to be coddled and babied, you might find her too pushy or offensive, but I like her direct and straightforward approach. Ive been checking places and its been so hard to find stuff. They have really modern designs that are absolutely beautiful. She narrowed it down to a few dresses for me and they were all beautiful. Pamela knows how to be realistic and definitely very sharp and great at directing/guiding you in the right direction. Most sales persons always just say oh thats gorgeous/beautiful for everything you try on or try to appeal to your senses, but she tells you like it is so that you dont waste time and feel buyers remorse later. I loved working with her, and I think this place is somewhere everyone should give a shot before they try and go to some super fancy boutique that wants to charge an arm and a leg. Loved this place and highly recommend.

I found my dress at Say Yes For Less in such a time crunch! Pamela was so terrific in helping me choose what would look best on me. Because of COVID I was shopping alone, but she really felt like a mom with her care and expertise.Connie, who does in-house alterations, was incredible. In a matter of a couple weeks she made my dress fit beautifully and raised the neckline for a more modern fit! If you buy from SY4L, please please go with Connie for your alterations. My daughter bought her down at Love Couture in Potomac, but it was Pamela at Say Yes for Less who really helped us! She hemmed my mother of the bride gown. Two weeks before the wedding the zipper broke on my daughter’s gown! Pamela took it and replaced it immediately. We were also unhappy with the veil we impulsively purchased when we bought the gown, so we went to see Pamela and we found the perfect veil! Our only regret is that we did not buy that gown there. She has a marvelous selection of gowns and she lovingly keeps them in pristine condition. Brides to be-start here for your wedding gown search. Whereas others in the area can be rude/fake/pretentious, Say Yes was welcoming and kept it real. Great selection and discounts on brand names too. Would recommend!

I had such an amazing experience buying my wedding dress from here! I wasnt even planning on buying a dress the day I visited. The space is gorgeous and the changing room is very spacious. I loved that they let you pick your own dresses off the rack. I was paired with Kim and she was so sweet and professional. I also loved how involved the owner was in the process as well. As someone who didnt have an idea of what my dream wedding dress looked like, Say Yes For Less helped me find a dress that is definitely going to be a shower stopper.

I came to Say Yes for Less to try on wedding dresses for the very first time! Pamela was incredibly experienced and knowledgeable and helped guide me towards the right dress for me. The store was very compliant with COVID regulations so my entire group felt extremely comfortable. The store had a great selection within my limited price range and a great selection of veils as well. I’d recommend coming here to any bride!

To start off, I would like to say that I am NOT a shopper. However, after today, I know it is because Ive never found a place with an owner as wonderful as this. After searching at many different stores I honestly believed that I was never going to find my PERFECT wedding dress. After having an appointment canceled, I called Pamela hoping she could squeeze me in. Not only did she do that, but she was AMAZING. I have never felt more welcomed or comfortable in a store EVER. She listened to my opinion (which is apparently not relevant to most bridal shops) and let me, my two friends, and mom look through EVERY dress and pull out any I liked to try on. I ended up with two full racks. The dresses were all so beautiful that I couldnt even decide which style I liked. Walking in we saw a dress that was the most original dress Ive seen. I mean GORGEOUS. It was like nothing Ive ever seen (even over MANY pinterest sessions). I immediately fell in love. It was THE one. However, Pamela convinced me to try on every dress. Let me tell you, trying on dresses that did not live up to the first REALLY made me love it even more. She was so patient and kind and by the third dress really knew what I had in mind. Not only did she want me to be happy, but she also reminded me that my party wanted to see the nos as well. (Im pretty picky so I would know before zipped up if I liked it). Being in the dressing room you tend to forget that everyone wants to see the dresses too. She made the experience not only painless and wonderful for me, but for my entire party. My YESSSS dress made everyone cry. (Apparently that happens in real life too). I would highly recommend this bridal shop to EVERY bride. She had the appointment with JUST us, and I never felt embarrassed or like I was being judged. Over 500 dresses and literally every style you could dream of, and even more your dreams could not do justice to. I love love LOVE my dress. I couldnt even imagine now why I wanted to look anywhere else. Im getting MARRIED and Pamela finally made it actually feel REAL ❤️

I bought my dress back in January after visiting one other bridal shop. Say Yes for Less had great prices and selection of dresses in a variety of styles. The overall process was really enjoyable and personal due to the help of Pamela! I got to take the dress home that day and even got a little discount since I bought my veil the same day too.I also got my alterations done at Say Yes for Less, which was three appointments and they did a great job! I am giving four stars due to the pressure from the alterations person to pay cash rather than card. Alterations for a wedding dress can get pretty pricy and having to travel to the shop with that much money made me uncomfortable, but I was continuously told that I should bring cash. I wouldnt have minded if it was once or twice, but I was told an uncomfortable amount of times - even the girls I brought with me made a comment on how much it was pushed. But overall, they did a great job and I would recommend!

Pamela and her team made my wedding dress shopping experience amazing! The appointment lasted about 2 hours and we never felt rushed. After trying on several other dresses and getting a sense of my style, Pamela pulled an Alvina Valenta french lace fit n flare gown with a jeweled sweetheart neckline and sheer corset back. And I fell in love! My moms style is very different from mine, and she also loved it! The discounted price was a bonus! I also received a generous discount on my veil for purchasing it that day.Connie from Pamelas team did my alterations. I lost weight between buying the dress in July 2017 and our wedding in May 2018, and my dress fit perfectly on our wedding day!

I went in with my sister and nieces to just look at dresses not expecting to find anything but walked out after less than an hour with my dress! Hillary did an amazing job figuring out what I would like and I am so happy with my dress! Cant wait to come back for alterations!

Pamela knows what shes doing. She makes the experience easy by allowing you to look through the dresses based on size and price and also by picking out a few that she thinks might work for you. She gives her full attention since she books one person at a time. i found that she was also the most helpful in helping me try on the dresses. As someone who is very short, I appreciated that a lot. she helped me get in and out of the dresses quickly and noted how i could add or change things as we went along since shes also a seamstress. i was worried she would be pushy but i think she knew i needed help making choices.

I bought my dress here in December and it was an amazing experience. When I called ahead the owner was frank about how many samples she had in my size and within my budget, which I knew would be limited to begin with. Once in the store there were about 8 samples I was able to try on and no less than 3 women helping me. Again the owner was very respectful of my budget, an in fact stood up for me when a bridesmaid accidentally picked a dress way over budget and wouldnt let it even go into the dressing room unless I said I wanted to branch out of my budget. The set up of the actual dressing rooms is spacious and makes you feel incredibly special when they open up the double curtains to show your entourage. It was great to have a seamstress helping me try the dresses on because we could go into detail on what alterations were possible for each dress.

I came to the salon alone and was nervous about finding my dress. They could not have been more welcoming, helpful, and supportive. I felt at home here, truly. This salon is full of true professionals with a passion for what they do. I’ve recommended it to all of my friends! I said yes to the most amazing dress. First alterations were done in 2.5 weeks. They added additional support and I picked up the dress within 5 weeks of my first appointment.

We called there yesterday after the first place we went was so disappointing and the 2nd appointment we were suppose to have never showed. All but the bride was in from out of state and we didnt know what to do with nothing else open due to the pandemic. The owner told us to come right over and from the moment we meet her she was absolutely wonderful. She was professional, yet still warm. She made the whole experience incredible. I cried when I saw my daughter in the one . Before we got there my daughter was sure she would never find the perfect one, but she found it along with the perfect shop. We had such an amazing and wonderful experience at Say Yes for Less!! I went dress shopping with my mother, and it was our first stop on my dress search and it was the best experience I could ask for! The store was beautiful and very well organized. I had a phenomenal experience here. Say Yes for Less has an amazing selection of dresses, but what really makes the experience is Pamela and her team. I came here after trying three other bridal salons. Within an hour, we found exactly what I was looking for. I came back nine months later for alterations and that process was just as fun as finding the dress! Pamela really cares about making everything perfect for you, and will go out of her way to do so. Pamela, her mom, and their store are exactly what you want when looking for a dress. If you read their story on the website, youll see how you buy your dress off the rack. Some of the dresses I tried on had never even been worn in the store before, because stock seems to turn over pretty quickly. So what you see is what you get- its not like you can order a dress in another size. But she does have a very large selection! It was very easy to go by size range and price to only look at what would work for me.I ultimately ended up not getting my dress here, only because I found a dress I loved, but I preferred it in a different shade (titanium vs ivory is very different). Pamela was really supportive when I left my appointment unsure about a dress.I would highly recommend this shop! You are almost guaranteed to find your dress, no matter the style, size, or budget.

I cant say enough great things about Pamela and her business. She is the reason I was able to get the wedding dress of my dreams and she never even met me in person. When I found a dress I loved, but it was over my budget, I called around to see if other shops carried it. I had the best experience buying a dress and veil here and would absolutely recommend it! Pamela and her mother are incredible--very knowledgeable and kind. They have by far the largest selection of dresses of anywhere I went and theyre organized really well (by size and price). And Pamela seemed to know where every dress in the store was. I was very happy with my experience buying my dress, but what really took it to the next level was when I had a problem with my veil and had to go back to talk to them about it and they were very understanding. I was stressed about finding a dress I would love and that would be extraordinary but I absolutely did at this store and with Pamelas help.

I made an appointment at “Say Yes for Less” on the recommendation of a coworker. She knew that I didn’t want to spend a fortune on my dress and until that point I had not visited any designer bridal boutiques and had been unsuccessful in finding a dress I loved.My appointment was on a Sunday afternoon. The store was elegant and peaceful and for the majority of our time there my mom and I were the only customers in the store.Pamela is a true bridal expert and was absolutely wonderful to work with. I am incredibly indecisive and felt so overwhelmed at the start of the appointment but Pamela navigated this with such expertise- waiting for me to formulate my opinion but also taking the lead and suggesting gowns to try on. We narrowed it down to 3 gowns and from there a clear winner emerged- my mom even teared up!Pamela was able to work with my budget and I was able to find a luxurious designer gown that I can’t wait to wear on my wedding day. At the end of the appointment I looked at the clock- we had spent 2 hours there! With appointments at other places I was rushed out after an hour. I know that I hadn’t been at a decision making point after 60 minutes at Say Yes for Less so I was incredibly grateful to Pamela for not being rushed. I walked out with my dream dress that day and couldn’t be happier! I can’t wait to work with Pamela to get the dress fitted perfectly for the big day!

Found my wedding dress here for under $1,000! The process was so easy and stress-free. All the dresses are organized by price range so you wont fall in love with a dress outside of your budget! I had a hard time choosing but I love the one I took home. I cant wait til I get it altered here so I can see the true fit! I believer her name was Amanda? but she was great at getting me in and out of the dresses while giving feedback on how a dress would actually fit once altered to help envision it. The owner was amazing as well!I highly recommend anyone coming here who is on a budget. They have a great selection.

Pamela Vito is the fairy god mother of wedding dresses! This is by far the BEST place to purchase a wedding dress! I was blown away from the second I walked in! The dressing room was so spacious, there were so many dresses neatly on racks, and her attention to detail is incredible! It was everything I hoped dress shopping would be and more! She worked with my budget and made the entire experience so enjoyable! I wasnt planning to find my dress that day, but after she listened to what I was look for, she pulled a few for me to try and one was THE ONE! She knows her wedding dresses!! I dreaded the wedding dress shopping process and had no idea what kind of dress I wanted or what kind of dresses would flatter my body. Pam and her mom were so helpful-I tried on a variety of dresses that helped me figure out my bridal style. Within an hour of starting the whole process, I had found a fabulous dress that made me feel beautiful. And the dress was a great price to boot!

Loved this place it was my very first wedding dress shopping experience and I couldn’t have ask for a better one, very honest sweethearts. Although I didn’t leave with a dress they made me feel beautiful! Despite my “own” flaws I kept pointing out. They had a beautiful selection of gown for reasonable prices. I came here with a friend to help her look for wedding dress. While she ultimately did not get her dress from here we had a great experience. Hillary was wonderful and ultimately her advice helped my friend realize she had found her dress at another store. Sincerely recommend!

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I came here with a friend this afternoon and she found her wedding dress in less than thirty minutes. They have many sample sizes, especially for petite women. It was made just for her! She needs minimal alterations. Pam and her staff are amazing. Theyre very personable and they have years of experience finding dresses for your body type. I will totally be back when that time comes for me!

This was my first time trying on wedding dresses and it was so easy and fun at Say Yes for Less. I unfortunately didnt take anything home but they made it pressure free and stress free. The selection was great and the prices were amazing! Definitely a hidden gem in Potomac :)

They are absolutely amazing! I came in and told them I needed a dress for my wedding that was a month away and they said no problem! and helped me try on several gowns within my budget. They have a fantastic assortment of styles, I was looking for a boho look and they had so many! The entire experience was really fun, they were so kind and made me feel very comfortable. I fell in love with 3 gowns that they had picked out and the dress I said yes to didn’t need any adjustments made! I took it right home with me, perfect for my month away wedding time frame.I am soooo happy I found this place

This was the third bridal salon that I visited for a wedding gown and in less than an hour I found the perfect gown at a great price. The employees were attentive and very helpful. It was a great experience shopping here and I would highly recommend it!

My sister and I had an amazing experience. Their cuss toner service is fantastic. We found a beautiful dress which my sister didn’t think she would like but she still tried it on and she loved it .

My sister is getting married next year. There are a lot of great bridal shops in this are so she decided to do her dress shopping in the DC Metro/NOVA area. She made an appointment with Say Yes for Less MONTHS in advance and flew in from Nebraska to go wedding dress shopping. My others sisters also came from Alabama with my parents and another family member flew in from Georgia. All of this traveling so they could be part of this joyous and sentimental part of my sisters journey to her wedding day. When we arrived at the shop, it was nonexistent. Literally, not existent! No trace of the store at all. When my sister called to inquire and figure out if we were in the wrong location, she was told that the store had been shut down and a new store would be opening in Potomac in a week. She was told that she should have received an email stating that the store was closed but she did not. In fact, she received a reminder email on 27 April on her appointment the following day. She was offered a 10% discount if she chose a dress at the Potomac location when it opens next month. Obviously, that is not possible because there was a lot of planning put into making sure everyone was here for this occasion. This is horrible! Imagine the excitement and anticipation of looking forward to trying on dresses while surrounded by those who love you; traveling from across to country to try on dresses; meeting up with family from around to country, just to have your entire day ruined because of poor customer service and a store owner that has no regard for the sentiment that is associated with this process. DO NOT GO HERE!!! This area has loads of other wedding dress boutiques, pick somewhere else. We had a great experience at Global Bridal Gallery and my sister found her dress there.

I wish this shop had been around when I got married! I went over the weekend to help a friend with her gown shopping and we had a lovely experience. Pamela and Hannalore are extremely knowledgable, and the shop has a wonderful selection of gowns of all sizes at very reasonable prices. Although its a little hard to find, once you get inside its very spacious and inviting.

Pamela and her mother are efficient and helpful. Much classier and elegant designs than i have seen other places. They seem eager to work with brides to make the finances work as well.

Huge dress selection. We worked with the owner looking at dresses, she definitely knows her stuff. My only negative is that my friend had a pretty clear idea of what she wanted and our associate seemed a bit dismissive of it and was showing dresses that didnt fit my friends personality at all and seemed to not really listen to her requests.

Ive worked with Say Yes For Less on a few events and they never disappoint!

This was a very unpleasant experience. My consultant was frazzled, tactless, and downright rude. In the dressing room, she literally threw dresses at me and expected me to dress myself. We overheard the other consultants, who were also brusque. The entire environment was frantic and chaotic. It was particularly jarring considering we had just come from another bridal shop where the experience was delightful. To put it in perspective, my appointment started at noon, and we had walked out of the door by 12:10. To top it all off, the dress selection was not great, and the quality was “meh.” Save yourself the trip, and go somewhere else.

My mom and I had an appointment here but happened to show up very early to see if they could take us before our scheduled time. No one was there (Im guessing they dont take walk ins so theyre only there if theres an appointment scheduled) but I called the phone number and (the owner I assume?) was very accomodating and drove out to open it up and assist us.This shop has a a lot of beautiful dresses and I found my dream dress there. I am plus-sized, and admittedly the selection is smaller for me because of that, but the woman who helped me was excellent at eyeing my up and finding me the perfect dress - it was the first one she chose, in fact! Admittedly it was slightly above my budget, but not too much. She even threw in a hair piece for free! Highly recommend for brides out there looking!

Horrible customer service. Never asked my budget or to see the pictures of dresses what i had in mind. Only brought what she wanted and when I picked one she said this is more money asked your fiancé to pay. Never going back or recommending it to anyone

The perfect place to choose your wedding dress!I generally love everything, from the dress designs to the attention of Pamela and her helpers. Apart from coming here Say yess for less I was in other places, but this was the first one that I visited and after visiting others, I realized that no one else had the dress as I wanted it and that I had the same attention, so everything the above made me go back to say yess for less. From the first moment that I felt the passion for the place, I loved the attention of Pamela and her mother, one of the most important things was that they said everything was knowledge, such as the most appropriate design for my body, the color that best looked me and the details of each part of my dress, without leaving my tastes behind and all that made me stay with one of their fabulous dresses that is still there because they are fixing it for me for the big day ❤️. I honestly feel in love with this place and all its staff, they are VERY attentive, delicate and sweet.
