Very clean. I was the only customer. Eye exam quick and efficient. Great selection of frames. A little pricey. Good visit to use my vision benefit before the end of the year.
This place operates like a used car dealership. The money youre spending is more important than if youre satisfied. Low customer service level.
I went into this store on 8/29/19 and I believe her name is Denise was there. I asked if there was a way that I could receive a trial pair of contacts that I already had a script for. I was told by Denise that she was the only person working there on that day and that she couldnt leave to go to the back. I then asked if I could come back in on 8/30/19 and she told me that she was going to be by herself again! I thought this was odd and I left there feeling like she really didnt want to help me. I returned on 8/31/19 and spoke with Brian and I waited as Dr. Delaney had a patient already in the back that he was seeing. After waiting about 15 minutes, Brian explained to Dr. Delaney what I had been waiting for. Another 7 minutes goes by and Dr. Delaney comes out of the back to say to Brian that he wouldnt be writing anything different. Brian then asks if he would provide a sample and Dr. Delaney says in a very condescending tone, tough, she can take it up with management! What I found most disturbing about this is that Dr. Delaney never came and said anything to me directly but he talked about me like I wasnt even there. To add insult to injury, he spoke like this while Brian was with a current patient and there were 4 others waiting.I really felt humiliated and embarrassed that he would speak that way about me in that tone. I have interacted with him back in December 2018 and his demeanor was the same. I really think it was because I am black because he isnt this way with other customers who are white. The only awesome thing about that place is Dr. Dayna Luckey who was much nicer. I will never return to this establishment again and I shouldve stuck with my first thought of going to Vision Works!!
I came into the store yesterday to get my lenss prescription checked in order to purchase prescription goggles (I do not know the ophthalmologist I had last seen as it had been quite a few years). There was one employee and no customers in the store. She said she does not read lenses, so I asked her when someone would be available who could. She told me tomorrow after 4pm.I came back after 4pm as she told me, and there were two employees in the store who were chatting with each other, again no customers, however, both employees didnt recognize I was there until I walked to the back of the store and stopped only a couple feet from the counter one of them was sitting at. I asked again if they would be able to read the prescription of my lenses. The one employee said that she can read lenses, but they dont have a doctor to do eye exams there. I tried to clarify I was not looking for an eye exam, I wanted to know what the prescription of my glasses were. She said she wouldnt be able to tell me what the prescription was, as she would be liable from any issues if she was wrong. I asked if she can do readings there, and she said Yes. I said So if I give you my glasses and you do a reading, what can you tell me? She said Nothing. She told me I should go see a doctor in order to get the prescription checked. After I left the store I called another Pearle Vision store (Wyomissing), and I asked if they could do a reading for my glasses. They said Yes. I asked if they could tell me what the prescription of the glasses were after the reading, and I was told Yes, and the person I was speaking to was pleasant enough to give me the store hours and said she would be available until the end of the day.My visit with this store was very disappointing, and I dont know how much clearer I could have been when I was simply asking them to read the prescription of my glasses. I was not requesting a new prescription, so the whole issue about liability was ridiculous. The employees at the store seemed confused with every question I gave them, as if it was unusual for someone to ask for a service in their store. With customer service like I experienced I couldnt recommend this store to anyone.
Went in for a glasses adjustment and Kyle was terrific. Immediately very friendly, attentive and put us at ease. Top notch customer service, completely satisfied and my glasses fit great once again. Thank you!
I could not even fathom a place less helpful. I had recently called to ask about the status of my glasses, and I hung the phone up learning absolutely nothing about the status of my glasses. It was as if they had never gone through this process before. I even asked for an educated guess on when they thought my glasses would be done, just for an idea of when I would have to pick them up, and they gave me no response. Lastly, they told me that my glasses would be ready in a week to week and half, and I am currently waiting for my third week with absolutely no idea when they will be done. Overall, the customer service is awful and the services they provided in general were awful.
Called to check on how long to make an easy pair of glasses.Just wanted clear glass on top with a 1.75 reading magnification on the bottom. A guy named Brian said, Do you have a prescription? Well, NO I said, this is just what I want and need. Well, we cant do that, you have to have a prescriptionWHAAAT?Bunch of bull)&%)(#, jerks
Just want to put this out there for all of you! The time it takes depend on what vision insurance you have and were they have to ship it. 10 days to 2 weeks is standard and if they lab breaks them its your insurances fault as the pair you are buying with the insurance discount is cut by their lab if you buy a second pair pearl visions lab cuts those. And last but not least lens crafters and pearl vision are owned by the same company!!!!!
I have been using this same store for almost the last 10 years. Great selection of frames, and customer service with Brian is excellent.
Quality and Appeal are basically useless reviews for a place that sells glasses other companies make so Poor/Fair will do, but the service so far has been poor at best. Told me Id wait 10 days for my glasses, which is fine and normal for any outlet. Went in on the 10th day and they didnt have the glasses ready and couldnt explain to me why my glasses werent ready. They stated it would probably be one more day. The next day I got a call and stated they had broke my pair in the lab and that I would have to wait another 5 days. 5 days later I called to see if the glasses were ready to be picked up and surprise they werent. Getting close to 3 weeks since the day I bought the glasses and no one at the store seems to know when the glasses will arrive or give me any information as to when they will be ready and why theres further delay with getting me the glasses. Probably wouldnt be posting but Im wearing an old pair and its been giving me headaches while I have to wait. Only reviewer so I might be an isolated case, but Ill probably just be driving the extra 30 min to KOP mall and going to Lens Crafters again next year where I was able to get my last pair of glasses in an hour last year. So much for saving time with the short drive this year.
Been there twice. A year or so apart and service was friendly and glasses arrived in a timely manner.
They suck. Go to lens crafters.
Couldnt answer a simple question.
