So pretty much I recently came to bolt since I had foolishly put diesal in my tank. Just after 2 miles of running. Bolt told me that I needed around $1800 worth of repairs in my car.. it’s obvious they tried to take advantage of the situation and my knowledge of cars. Went elsewhere and paid a fraction of that price.. not a good experience.

Adam and Justin are, in my opinion, very transparent, dependable, and honest. I really like that they take pictures of the problem and show me so that Im aware of whats getting done and why.(I know slim about cars so this detail is somehow comforting.)The prices are reasonable considering youre getting a brand new part and expert service.I am very satisfied with the work theyve done on my car and will continue to use their service.

We had an emergency en route to winter vacation with two little kids and a packed car on a Saturday at noon when everyone is closing. Adam and his team saved the day! Not only did they stay late, he ordered the parts before we arrived. The shop was clean and pleasant and Adam even had lollipops for the kids. We will definitely be back!

This is a little late, would recommend to anyone. Great service and was very affordable. I thought my issue would cost me 1000 plus dollars but it wasnt what i thought. They showed me the problem didnt treat me like i was just a girl with no clue with what was going on.

Asked for a quote and said my repair was “not worth his time” glad to know this individuals concern was with his own time instead of his customers safety in their vehicle...

Long story short: I was interested in buying a used car off a friends grandma. The car had been sitting in a garage for over 3 years, which could lead to a number of problems. Spoke to Adam at Bolt. He completely understood my situation - I only was going to buy the car if it could be brought back to life for a reasonable amount of money. His communication was clear and forthright. I really felt like I could trust him. No work was done unless I fully understood why it was needed and unless I expressly approved of it. He didnt do or recommend any services that he easily couldve charged me for; instead he only did the things that were vital. In the end, I got myself a good used car, and with Adams help at Bolt, its working splendidly. I dont think you can go wrong with Bolt.

Had the service engine light aka Money Light come on in my Ford Expedition. Took it to AutoZone to have the code read and was told my O2 sensors where bad. Took it to Advanced auto parts and they said my mass airflow sensor was bad. Both repairs would have cost me 300 bucks to fix. Luckily a friend of mine referred me to Bolt Mechanics! Neither of the two was the problem. Bolt Mechanics found the vacuum leak. Sent me pictures to my phone showing me the problem. Had it fixed and ready for me to pickup exactly at the time they said. Extremely professional and fixed for a fraction of the price! Thank you Adam and Justin!!!

Adam and Justin were amazing! I brought my 2001 Honda Accord that I recently got from a buddy of mine and the car was literally smoking from the engine they saw me right away and fixed the Problem right away turns out it was the radiator among other issues that I will be gladly getting fixed with these guys they were fair and understanding of my budget the car is back on the road and driving great thanks guys for running an honest and straight forward business you are a rare breed keep it up!

Way over priced. I was quoted from 2 other places nearly $1000 less for the same work. Before I brought it to you I had taken it to another shop. Judging by your bad reviews and the lack of vehicles in your shop and how the garage was completely empty you guys were looking to have a nice pay day with me. 18 hours to do a motor swap on a v6 2wd truck? 9 hours to replace a head... unfortunately your wrong. And you also told me you’d have to buy 2 heads just to replace the one.... again wrong shouldn’t cost $2000 in labor for replacing the head even if it was $800 for the 2 heads and can’t even tell me if a piston is bad or not. Maybe invest into some tools like a scope to be able to see. Rip offs. Adam and his “essentially” lack of knowledge would definitely turn anyone off. Going to tell someone to sell a vehicle because someone doesn’t want to spend $3k to replace a head on a truck lol. Wow and to top it off you guys didn’t even put the bolt that holds the main intake into the throttlebody luckily I pointed that out looking at it before I left. Thumbs up! I was dealing with these guys from out of state because of a student driver in state. They did a pick-up and drop off. They were polite and responsive. Basically, they showed me that they want my business. Great service. They explained the problems and the pricing. I highly recommend.

THIS WAS A NIGHTMARE of an experience!!!.. My brothers car broke down leaving DCC. One of the ball joints broke off releasing the control arm and left the car immobile. With some difficulty we had to towed it Bolt mechanics since it was the closest shop. At first the owner Adam seemed genuine and honest later to find it certainty wasnt the case. After a quick look at the car the estimate was between 500-$1000. Seemed a little high but okay. I told him to go ahead and start tomorrow. Giving me some time to weigh my option since the care is barely worth $1500. An hour later he gives us the final price at $1680!! For a ball joint and aliment and some other meticulous issues. My father being a mechanic for 25 years pleaded with the man assuring him this was unreasonable. After finding an honest shop nearby we had the car transferred. But that was after Adam charged us $380 for doing NOTHING!!! Just to look at it and put it on a lift. The Mechanic we brought it to next was of course cheaper.. $600 cheaper. And didnt involve the amount of work first estimated. either they are price gauging or just really do not understand what they are doing. I wish I could give the a Zero star review. Because I would wish this experience on my worst enemy. BEWARE!!!

My son is attending college in this area and broke down. I called BOLT out of the blue not knowing them or anyone up there, just googled. They could not have been more helpful, accomodating and friendly. Our car required some additional work which they explained and physically showed to me so we understood the scope of work that was needed. They executed the job perfectly and charge a fair price, then brought the car back to my son at school...too good to believe that service like this exists today. Adam & Justin have absolutely taken the sting out of going to a mechanic as a car novice....they deserve much success and support, tell EVERYONE!!!

Bolt Mechanics were one of the only mechanics open on a Sunday. They took our subaru in and quickly diagnosed what was wrong and explained the problems thoroughly. The repairs were quick and afterwards they provided pictures of the issues that were causing the problems. I would definitely recommend Bolt Mechanics to others! Since I got my car a year ago, it has had its fair share of issues. Ive taken it to 5 different mechanics to try and fix issues from loud exhaust to steering wheel shake and each time my problem was never fixed. It started to feel like my car was unfixable or had an issue that required a ridiculous amount of money to fix. After seeing the reviews for Bolt Mechanics, I decided to send the car over to them to see what they would come back with.To make a long story short they were able to fix all my cars issues without breaking my bank account. The estimates they gave me were fair and the price I paid matched those estimates. Justin and Adam called me a few times to update me on the progress, what they were finding, and even sent over pictures so I could see the issues. I really felt like I was in control of the repair process and that my questions/comments werent ignored or glazed over. These guys do thorough work and I cant recommend them to friends and family enough.

HORRIBLE service, bad attitude and a complete waste of your moneyI am so unhappy with the service I received.I went in to fix my steering wheel and the alignment was wayyyyyyyyyy off and to top it all off the horn now do any work. I toke it to another mechanic and they told me that my clockspring is broken. You guys they actually broke my clockspring, I paid almost 800.00 for them to actually break more that wasn’t broken that wasn’t broken to begin with...What a shame. What a shame. This place is very unprofessional.I never right reviews but unfortunately this is was needed of me to do so and warn everyone to not renter thisbshop
