I am happy I trusted my car to North Road Auto, They installed a tow hitch in my car and they did a great and a clean job.. I happily recommend this place for any service you need. They really get the job done !

Really great place with great people. This is the first time that I’ve brought my car to a mechanic that was honest and really took care of what I asked for. Everyone that works there is great and prices are really good for the quality of work you get. Not to mention that my car work was done in a timely manner too! The first time I went in I was able to get squeezed in to get work done and still had my car back at the end of the day. Definitely will be returning for any future work and I’d highly recommend to anyone!

John and everyone at North Road Auto did an awesome job installing a tow hitch and electrical system in my 2021 Kia Seltos. John explained everything throughly and kept me well informed in the process, while his team installed the hitch and did an excellent job. Definently recommend for honest, good quality work.

I made an appointment online very seamlessly. Something came up where I had to change the date. The associate I spoke to on the phone was able to change it quickly.On the day of the appointment, I arrived and found out said associate didnt update the changes. But, the staff at North Road were still able to see me for my state inspection.Upon further inspection, they saw that my brake pads were close to failing. My records on the car supported that. After an hour wait (when they said it would take 90 minutes), everything was completed.

This place is absolutely incredible! Took my car in on short notice, did a complete safety check, and saved me thousands of dollars! Saved my car! Thank you!

While North Road auto was our “go to “ repair shop for 15 years, last week our car had a malfunction that made the carUn- driveable. We had to park it at the nearest repair shop, where it sat for 4 days, seriously attempting to scam us. We finally had it towed to John at NRA, and it was repaired same day.Will NEVER go anywhere else! Thank you John and team!

A true family business with the owner has a lot of knowledge very informative . I found what they did for me which was check my 2 tires front driver and rear driver to be flat. They put a plug in my rear driver tire that was losing air and just sprayed a foam on the other one. The on the passenger side the rear tire was fine put the front had a screw in it but did not put a hole in the tire so it was just sprayed with foam. My total bill was $60.00 for which $1:50 cents was a tire plug and I believe 2 hours of labor. I did not want to say anything but it was in my option very expensive and my bill should have been about $37.00 total. I called keep dealership and they told me that “ they really saw me coming” I felt highly insulted and felt they took advantage of me . I wish I could say I would go back but if they charges me that much for a tire check up I can’t imagine what would happen if I had serious problems with my car. I must say their work is very very good but they are just as their work very expensive! And I felt robbed for what they did.

I have used North Road Auto in the past for a few cars that I had. More recently, I used them because all of my rear lights were out and I just had it inspected a week prior by my car dealer. They took me in right away without any questions and gave me the inspection report with pictures which I thought was pretty amazing!! When they were done, they fixed my issue and explained thoroughly what had happened. John was super nice and you certainly dont feel like youre being ripped off. 5 star service!!

This was my first time using North Road Auto and I will definitely be coming back. They provided me with an online written report with the results of their check-up, and gave me fair information about which work was critical and which was optional given what they were seeing—they even called and said that some work that we were considering wasnt necessary given their inspection. Honest, good work at a good price—what more could you ask for?

The people were very nice. They did a detailed inspection of my car took pictures and let me know exactly what was needed to be done. This full inspection cost 30.00 but worth it. They send you a link and you can see exactly what is going on with your car. I recommend this location to anyone looking to get they car fixed.

I highly recommend this place 💯.They take their time and care about their work for you.They even lay out a clear overview on your car of what you need and what is already good on it. Very straight forward. Excellent care. The most important part is that they do not pressure you or haste your decision; they let you decide on your terms .

They were the most communicative Auto Center I have ever dealt with in my life! Confirmation emails, digital pictures of parts that were inspected, text message receipts and they were true to their word when they said we would be out of there at a specific time. The owner and his wife work together and take pride in delivering the best service that you can imagine, and beyond. You cannot go wrong with this shop. 5 stars all the way (and I am not one to be easily impressed or submit reviews. But the service at this shop was stellar).

I go to college right near North Road Auto and the owner John is very accommodating. He is fair, honest and reasonable and make sure my car is fixed to the best of his ability. He even stayed open an hour past close for me to make sure my car was done the day I needed it!

I can always trust my car is in great hands when I drop it off at North Road. John and his staff are great and really communicative keeping me looped into to any work that might be done along with a whole explanation so I can understand what needs fixing why and what it affects. Needed an inspection and got an inspection without the extra b.s. and holding it hostage for unnecessary repairs. Pointed out issues and was informative and professional. I will definitely use them again for repairs.

John and his team were thorough, honest, and explained everything that was involved in doing my transmission replacement. I felt that I was in extremely competent hands and will recommend them to everyone.The multi-point inspection with pictures was extremely helpful. They went out of their way to get me the best transmission for my vehicle and the installation was done in the timeframe at at the cost that they had estimated. I truly feel that I am in good hands and will continue to service my car there in the future.

I would not trust my car with any other team. I am totally satisfied with their professionalism and their concern for my car. Unlike some other shops in the area, North Road gets it right the first time so there are no return trips for repeated work.

Came in on a Thursday to inquire about getting four new tires as I had just got a flat. They werent to get me in until the following Wednesday but that was ikay because I had a solid donut and they were booked because it was the end of the month. Service was completed quickly and the staff is extremely professional and nice.

John has implemented a new feature on his already stellar car care practice and that is a computer generated report on the your car health. They should have this for humans. But you can see exactly what needs to be fixed right away and what can be pushed down the road a bit. Excellent ! If you need to buy a used car and want to know what kind of shape its in, have John check it out.

SWINDLED..... $60.44 to plug ONE tire!!!! Staff was friendly but I could’ve gotten my tire fixed at a dealership for cheaper. Lesson learned, I will get a cost estimate upfront. Although the week prior when I stopped by and asked one of the employees outside on their smoke break the cost to plug a tire, I was told $35.

I am a new customer and was a bit untrusting thinking they may try to tell me I needed windshield wipers, a bulb was out or brakes which I knew I did not need any of this work. I started bringing my car to North Road Auto over the summer; I had just moved to the area and in the chaos of moving, had forgotten to get my car inspected. The shop owner accommodated my urgency and gave me a fair price for quality tires when it turned out I needed two new ones. Since then, a few problems have cropped up with my car (its 17 years old, so its bound to happen) and each time Ive brought it here. The shop owner takes the time to explain the reasoning behind why something has gone awry, gets the best price for parts, and the mechanics do quality work I know I can trust. I wouldnt bring my car anywhere else!

I would never go here, even if I broke down in front of them. My car had a check engine light go off and to just see what the codes were they wanted 30 dollars! Who does that? For 2 second to plug a hand held machine into the car to charge for that?Go down the road to chickery auto and they did it for free and told me what to do to fix it.North road auto is a rip off.

You showed the Toyot Service Dprtment to be careles and dangerous Sham.You quickly saw their stupid error and fixed it before I s forced to go out on the road gain without any brakes. I feel as though I owe you m life!

I was asked by the owner if he could take my car home to Pleasant Valley, where he could work on it over the weekend. At first, I was delighted by such dedication. That is, until he returned my car to me on Monday having put 200 MILES on it.What a fraud! Clearly, he feels that he can joyride any car in his care.Update: The owners response to my review is completely false. The fact that he has already admitted to putting 200 miles on my car, and is now attempting to fabricate an entirely new mileage, only goes to show how dishonest this business is.

I took my 2009 Acura RDX to John Jaeb because it had a terrible rattling sound underneath . I went online and it said it could be the catalytic converter and I researched it and they cost around $1000 to replace . John and Jesse diagnosed it and found out it just needed a $10 worm drive clamp on the heat shield to quiet it down and it only took a half an hour or so of labor . They are honest and technically astute and always explain everything that they do in language I can understand . They come highly recommended ....
