If you are in town, add this place for your morning cup of joe or for a quick bite with a friend and convo over coffee. The baked goods are to die for. If you really want to try the baked goods, go early. The lines are always long here and the hood stuff disappears very quickly. They staff is super friendly and always make you feel so welcome. There is a cozy library / seating area in the back on the store ….. if you can find room, grab your spot. Nothing like a good book or a friend and freshly brewed coffee.

I usually dont drink coffee but I had to come by Crafted Kup because of all its hype. It didnt let me down. I came right when they opened on a Saturday morning and was able to find street parking right next to the coffee shop. There wasnt a huge line (granted it was 9am on a Sunday) and I was able to order right away. I got the Americano (3) and the Egg Sandwich (5) with bacon. Super affordable prices right there. The Americano had a great rich flavor and they offered oat milk on the side for us lactose intolerance peeps, which I loved. The Egg part of my Egg Sandwich wasnt my favorite, seemed like it was just heated up in the back as a patty or something, but the bagel was good. They had a couple of different flavors to chose from- plain, everything, etc.The inside was also beautiful with dark wooden floors and metal railing. If it wasnt during the pandemic, I could definitely see myself coming here as my to go stop to study for the afternoon. Overall, I would recommend Crafted Kup for those in the area looking for a nice coffee shop to work/study.

Love this place! The staff is always friendly and efficient and the coffee tastes great! The atmosphere is really cute and definitely fits with the Vassar area. Its a great spot to get work done or meet up with a friend! I would definitely recommend an iced (or hot) caramel latte and the herbal raspberry iced tea, which are my go to orders!!

The Crafted Kup is my favorite place to work/study! The employees are the sweetest people and I never feel like Im bothering them (like I feel ordering at some places). They all seem like very hard workers and always give incredible customer service. The music is never too loud so I can focus easily, there are outlets all over making it very convenient to charge my computer, and the tables are always so clean. My favorite drink is the iced vanilla chai and its always made exactly right! Thank you Crafted Kup for creating such a pleasant environment to get out of the house and get my work done.

Bohemian in its decor. Of varying value in its pricing. The misleadingly named vanilla bean lemonade is…lemonade for $4. A very poor value. The coconut cookie bar for $3 was of good quality and quiet filling. Otherwise, there’s not a lot of coffee competition for the Vassar College crowd.

4/2021: Lovely local coffee shop with an industrial feel inside. I’ve been wanting to stop here, and it was well worth it! The baristas were very friendly and helpful. Per his suggestion, I got the Cafe Miel drink - it was delicious, and not too sweet. There is plenty of indoor seating and limited outdoor seating as well. On street parking, so it can be limited. This place has a great vibe. Small assortment of baked goods and bagels. The ginger molasses cookie was delicious. They are GF and vegan friendly as well and have a couple pre-packaged vegan desserts. I will definitely be back, and would recommend to others!

Delicious Pumpkin Spice latte with a Morning Bun, starting off our birthday weekend in full effect here. A busy spot though quick service with a friendly wave.

They use coconut milk for the matcha latte which is surprisingly refreshing and good! The gluten free black bean brownie was also very good.

The cold brew is slammin’ and will definitely have you on a caffeine overload if you drink the whole bottle…The barista‘s all seem very friendly and competent.I’ve never seen a show here but they have a PA which makes me think they do quieter music events there.

I love this place. Wish their hours were open a little later, especially when the world opens back up and Vassar students are able to study there. Its a Vassar staple and the staff is great!

They make the PERFECT cappuccino. The atmosphere of the place is very soothing, which is why it seems to be a hub for all of the local students when they need to get some hw done! 100% recommend to anyone who happens to be in the area and wants to enjoy a hot morning beverage. There are some benches outside in a courtyard looking area so if there isnt room to sit inside, you have options.

Decadent coffee drinks. You can truly taste the quality in each cup. Also they have some tasty flavored lattes without it being overly sweet. Pastries are okay not really my favorite, but Ill come for the coffee any day.

Love love love this place. Such great drinks and friendly staff. And they’ve started baking their own pastries (summer 2020), and they are SENSATIONAL! Marvelous croissants, and BEST cinnamon rolls in the Hudson Valley. I’ve been desperate for good cinnamon rolls for years, and I’m so happy now. They’re like a gourmet high-quality version of Cinnabon. :)

The inside is industrial and cozy, all very aesthetic. The bagels are fresh and flavorful, the coffee is so tasty I could have it without sugar and cream, and the service is quick and friendly. I’ve gone multiple times and have never left disappointed.

Food options that are great for any time of day, plus lots of table seating (deceivingly large inside). Your visit will be worth it no matter what because the staff is super - friendly and mellow. Nothing negative to post, all raves far as Im concerned. Im so very glad for a REAL coffee joint in the area. We buy whole beans to brew at home, plus now and then treat ourselves to bagels or a meal and (most deliciously) a Café Miél!!! If youve heard of Crafted Kup but havent yet visited, bother yourself to go in--its comfortable and always clean. Im in walking distance to the Raymond Avenue location, but their store in the Galleria is good too.

Staff are always on point. I dont like coffee, but their hot chocolate is solid. Also the open mics are nice. Good people.

They charge you 25 cents for hot water AND the punch card only takes $4 off your “free” drink. The staff is nice but the store policies are totally WHACK.Like, I’m not trying to take advantage of you by wanting hot water. I swear I’m not illicitly bringing tea bags into your overpriced cafe...

A different approach to a saturated market. They offer specialty drinks that are unique to them. Their specialty drink change with the season. They have a good tea selection. They also offer a variety of breakfast and lunch foods. If you’re looking for a coffee shop that’s a little outside the norm, then this is the place for you.

Crafted cup is a nice place for college students who want to study besides a crafted coffee and a bite.The lunch items are limited though to a handful, but good. Excellent bagels filled with... Or some salads.

The Crafted Kup is a really cool venue if you like local coffee shops. The interior is decorated by a collection of artwork handpicked by the owner. Currently, on display is a local artists gallery on migrant workers. The menu has both food and drink options. The shop is great if youre studying, reading or doing work, but it is also great to socialize with friends and meet new people. Definitely recommend it, especially for a younger college crowd.

Friendly & laid back atmosphere. Nice place to meet friends or even meet a business associate. Important to have the right personality up front at the register and both times I’ve been there the nicest people were at the front on the register.

Not the most spectacular latte but a fair effort. The flavor is weak generally and not really hot like a coffee drink should be. The staff was a little standoffish, not very warm and inviting like you might expect in a coffeehouse. I asked to explain some of the flavors they offered, and it seemed as though my question was an annoyance. I asked for them to suggest a flavor and they said I could have any of the flavors on their list. After asking again what they would recommend, and getting you can get any of the flavors I ordered a basic option but was dissatisfied with the experience. However, the environment was nice. I really like the feel of the place. Its rustic and trendy. Comfortable. A step up in customer service and a friendlier smile would go a long way, and a little more engagement with the customers, offering suggestions would bring this place up to a 5 star stop.Update:It was nice to see a response and request to talk more. I sent the email, two days after the response I received from them, and have yet to see anything further. No follow through. Ive searched my email, junk mail, you name it. No reply. And my last two visits have been marginally better. The staff are much more concerned with talking to each other than interacting with customers. I had only one decent interaction there, but that was likely only because there was only one staff up front. Dropped to two stars, only because the kitchen guy is nice and the one experience I had was moderately acceptable. It will sadly be the last time I visit which is a bit of a disappointment because I am looking for a coffee place to hang out during the day when Im working. Sad when a simple reply could have made things a five star.

Ive changed my review on here from 2 stars to 5 ... let me explain why.originally i left 2 stars because i tried the dark roast and it tasted weak. i think this just might have been in my head, because ive tried it a few more times and it tastes great.additionally, the food quality is consistent and the staff is friendly. i order egg sandwiches with onions, and it comes out tasting fresh every time.the other day, the place was closed for a deep cleaning - imagine my disappointment at 8 am in the morning, and no where to get coffee. but then i noticed, behold, CK put out a free coffee stand which said something along the lines of were closed for a deep cleaning, but heres some free coffee. sorry for the inconvenience.i resolved right then and there to go back and change my review. my hats off to the owners of this fine establishment!

This is favorite of the area for a reason. Ive never had a coffee drink here that wasnt delicious. Id love to rate Crafted Kup 5 stars, but it can be pricey. Its in a great location near Vassar college, its a great first date venue, but it cant be an every day expense for me. Itd break the bank.Overall, Id highly recommend checking it out.

The atmosphere is cool but the coffee and food is mediocre at best. The staff have never been rude really but not particularly nice either. This lady hanging posters not once but twice asked me to move while i was sitting with my friend talking. Definitely something she could’ve waited to do instead of asking a paying customer to get up and move, and then five minutes later do it AGAIN in the spot i moved to so she could hang a poster....

One of my favorite study spaces. Come early because getting a table could be competitive (but worth it) during Vassar crunch time.Drinks are good. Check out their killer mocha. Tea selection needs some improvement though.Food is good. Good breakfast pastries (check out their cheese danish and chocolate croissant). They now have cooked breakfast and lunch items too.

Yeah, so this is way overdue! So Ill start off by saying that the prices here will definitely be more expensive than other haunts in the area but because its local, it makes sense because everyone has bills to pay whether they like it or not. That being said, the coffee and food here is okay but not mind blowing. However, the real value of coming here if you ask me is the atmosphere you get - this is a GREAT place to study which is exactly why it works so well being placed directly next to Vassar College. Youre getting an easily accessible place to connect with friends and family, and the Thursday night open mic nights are the bomb diggity. During the numerous times Ive stopped in the place was always clean, and almost every staff member who works here have been great in my experiences. I recommend trying this place at least once!
