I just love Davis Furniture. The staff feels like family, each and every one of them. I recently purchased a new mattress after back surgery. The team helped me pick out the perfect bed. John went above and beyond in helping me acquire this bed which really had been a Godsend. The delivery was easy, tidy and seamless. The crew was so pleasant and a great way to start my day. I know I’ve left a good review elsewhere but had to come back. Just got a delivery of some bedroom furniture and the delivery guys are amazing! The delivery guy fixed a piece of furniture I had purchased in the past that had an issue, he definitely did not have to do that. Oh I love Davies furniture we purchased so many things from them and they last its not like going to another store and buying it and having to throw it away after 2 years theres no comparison we purchased a recliner chair and we had it for a little bit they took it back cleaned it up for us and while I was there of course I saw something else that I wanted to purchase John and his family are very pleasant and we go no other place if we see something in another store we speak to him about it and he gets it for us

Davis furniture is a great place to buy a mattress. During this time you make an appointment so you are the only one in the store. I told John, the owner, what I was looking for and he showed me different choices. John allowed me to look and try out different mattresses without any pressure or pushy salesman behavior. My mattress and headboard came in a few days. The delivery guys came in masks and took all my old stuff away, which was awesome, and put everything together. They were very professional and even helped me pick out my mattress cover! When they left I couldn’t stop staring at my new bed. I really love my headboard. It’s very pleasing to the eye and supportive. Thanks for a good shopping experience, especially during these tough times.I had to come back and add to my review. So the mattress I chose wasn’t right for my comfort. I thought it was at the store, but it’s hard to tell. So after a few days I knew I had to change it. John said to come in and try other mattresses. I went back and took my time. My goal was to lay on a mattress and say this is heaven. So after trying 2 I tried one more and said this is heaven! I love love my mattress!!! And a few days later I had a question about the mattress and it was the holiday weekend. I emailed John and he got back to me and then he went to the store to check my mattress and he emailed right back. He answered my question and all was good. But the best part was that John took his time during a holiday and the store was closed, to see what I was talking about. I then felt better and was assured my mattress was good. Davis Furniture is family owned. They take their service seriously. They helped me find a beautiful mattress within my budget. I can’t say enough about everyone there. I actually ordered a mattress from another store. I called to go over my order and went to the store to go over it in person. That salesman was rude and too busy texting on his phone. I walked out. It didn’t matter to him.This morning I called Mattress Firm and cancelled my order. Never even got a question why. I called Davis Furniture and told them I want my mattress from them because of their service.I will be speaking to the owners of Mattress Firm when they get back from vacation. Highly recommend going here to buy furniture. This store has so many options on sizes and lots of fabrics, including stain-free fabrics. They have amazing quality on all their products. I bought my comfy bed and both my sofas from this store. The warranty is amazing. The salesman and saleswoman was very friendly and made shopping for furniture very easy. There were a lot of deals on items I needed. Delivery didn’t take that long as they said which was convenient due to my work schedule. Delivery went smoothly. I have had my DAVIS CHERRY BEAUTIFUL GRADE A SUPER BEAUTIFUL BEDROOM SET for over 40 years now. I STILL....sleep beautifully on the mattress which is still original and STILL is as firm as a beautiful lady who works out at LA fitness. I take that back...its been better than that. The dresser and chest of drawers still slide out on those bearings like the day I bought the set. This is some EXTRA FINE FURNITURE and I would NEVER, EVER buy another brand. Folks....you are about to win me over...! The BEST...and no, I do not know anyone who works at Davis. Its simply the best furniture Ive ever had. Thank you Davis. Terrific experience there recently, no one pressured me, but they were tremendously helpful and knowledgeable. They have a different formula than the other stores. They don’t try to sell you more expensive items that you don’t need. They worked within my budget and found me things that the other stores said weren’t available. It was like a throw back to the days when you would shop at a local business that did business the right way. Everything couldn’t have been easier, they worked within my budget, got me exactly what I needed and the delivery guys were the best I’ve seen. I will definitely be a customer for as long as I live in Poughkeepsie. Too bad they don’t have stores in other states too since I move around a lot.

I went looking for a bed with my wife so we went to Davis furniture because they are a local company.We were ready to buy then .A salesman we talked to seemed like he was in a rush and promptly excused himself after about 5 minutes .We waited for a half hour for him to come back but he never did.He was with another customer .No apologies no answers, nothing.I am a sales manager for a local company, if a salesperson ever did this he would be fired immediately.Not even an apology.Needless to say we walked out .On top of that after comparing prices we found Davis to be dirty with stuff all over the place and high priced A company that would hire a salesperson like this will never get my business . BEWARE OF FAKE REVIEWS FOR THIS COMPANY.
