Worked with Rachel and she was wonderful. She is a consummate professional and went far above and beyond to help obtain a new set of hearing aids from first meeting to the end. While we encountered some bumps along the way, that were due to external parties, she never relented and stayed on point until all matters were addressed beyond satisfaction. I would highly recommend her and her colleagues as your hearing professionals without hesitation.

I was reluctant to have my hearing tested but Rachel @ the Poughkeepsie office was great. She tested me, explained the results, contacted my insurance to make sure of my coverage. I received the hearing aids, she showed me how to insert them and generally made sure they worked correctly. I can hear and understand my grandkids, my daughters, and English speaking programs on Netflix. Thanks.

Rachel is a very special person - genuinely warm and welcoming, competent, empathetic, articulate, and informed. As a first-time hearing aid patient, I was put immediately at ease by her kind, thoughtful, down-to-earth presence. Rachel not only answered all the questions I asked, she also provided me with information I had not thought to consider. Once I acquired my first hearing aids, she also emailed me to check on how I was doing, on two separate occasions. And I also know that I can call on her, if I ever have questions and/or problems with the hearing aids. As for the hearing aids themselves, so far, theyre great - theyre so light, I hardly know Im wearing them, and the quality of sound is excellent.

I found Community Hearing Service to be an outstanding service.The people from the receptionist to the Hearing Specialist were professional, efficient, and caring. They offer a number of Hearing aide options from selective manufacturers. The one I chose was MUEAR,style Sharkey. It was an in ear style with a number of options. The hearing aid is comfortable and does what they said it would do. The coast was less than the one I was wearing I found Community Hearing too be very price competitive and recommend their service.

My experience at Community Hearing Services has always been positive. Rachel is patient and compassionate and always listening to the issues I am experiencing. She has made many adjustments according to my needs and input a program which is working for me when I am in meetings. The audiologist was very helpul. She was very thorough in her examinations and was a big help in answering all of my questions. But I honestly have a hard time getting past the fact that when a follow-up meeting was cancelled due to COVID, a fill in audiologist conducted the follow up equipment appointment. I requested 2 really important items. I needed another copy of my bill of sale to get a $1,000 rembersement from my Insurence and to add a new channel to my hearing aides that I wanted to add. I received neither and lost out on the money. Needless to say Im upset.

I love Community Hearing of Poughkeepsie! Rachel Donchek is so patient and kind. My mother is almost 88 and Rachel takes her time, explains everything she is doing; listens to my moms concerns; waits for us if we are running late; she is AMAZING! I highly recommend this location especially if you have elderly parents or if you are elderly. She takes more time than most with my mother and it is a pleasure dealing with someone who actually cares!!

They hear you and are dedicated to fulfilling your individual needs. Using the most advanced equipment and techniques, you are tested and given an individual prescription to improve your hearing. They do not try to sell you anything that you do not need and go over the results of the testing, so that you understand your options. They make the entire process easy and understandable. They help you make a decision that is within your budget, but there are payment options that make for even more affordable options. Once the adventure begins, it requires some patience, as you try to adapt to your new hearing aids. They make adjustments as needed and within a short amount of time, you begin to regain your hearing. It is such a relief. Over all it has been an incredibly positive experience, and I would heartily recommend this facility, and my hearing specialist, Rachel, to anyone who is contemplating addressing their hearing loss.

I have been a patient of Community Hearing Services for about 15 years. At the beginning and about 7 years ago I purchased new hearing aids from them. I have known for a while that it was time for new replacements but I temporized, justifying this by telling myself that a little less hearing quality was better than the cost of a new pair.I had a check-up appointment this week. I told Kristie that I had changed my Medicare Advantage HMO. She asked the details and then told me that my new HMO had a very substantially discounted program for new hearing aids.Wow! What great news. Further, before I left the office she and her assistant had contacted both my HMO and the hearing aid vendor and had set up the whole transaction for me.What great attention! A very qualified, pleasant professional audiologist giving sound test-based recommendations and advice with little sales pressure.Still pleasant audiologists to deal with BUT 1) hearing aids failing after only a couple of moths in use, 2) and a very basic mobile phone apps to adjust volume and to select programs which comes with remote and unfortunately not very helpful tech support.

She is meticulous, knowledgeable, and relentless in her pursuit of a perfect fit and with the best delivery possible to compensate for my hearing loss. The sound delivered as close to normal as possible under all types of varied sound conditions.

My union, PSCCUNY and NYSUT directed me to the Community Hearing Services in Poughkeepsie. Id been overdue for a hearing test and evaluation for hearing aids. Now hearing aids are on and being wornso I dont have to keep saying Hunh? to people speaking to me !Kristy Tilley, AuD was sensitive, caring and very professional. All myquestions were answered thoughtfully. Even when I traveled abroadin September and October, when I had a minor concern email help wasquick and focused. The concern was resolved. I cannot speak toohighly of the professionalism and care I have received.

Dr. Tilley is professional while still being personable. I have struggled with hearing loss since childhood and the disappointment with the limitations of hearing aids for at least 20 years. I have now finally been able to participate at a level of confidence during professional dinner speaker presentations, something I was never able to do so before because of the limitations of hearing aids for me in that environment.
