The Arlington wine and liquor are very unprofessional. The managers have no knowledge on any of the liquors there. The store manager Joe is very rude and disrespectful. Always on top of the employees and not making sure the store looks properly. For someone who has been in the business for 20+ years you should know your wine and liquor better. The liquor wall manager Brandon is lazy and does nothing all day long expect for one table that is never filled. Also has absolutely no knowledge of what he is selling. He also has no training on being a manager. The storage in the back is a fire hazard. Half the employees there cant even buy alcohol. The owner has absolutely no knowledge on liquor. He owns two gas stations in Virginia. The people who work the floor deserve better then what they get. The store is very out of date. All the managers there need some type of training to make this business thrive more...I heard so many good things about this business but experience the total opposite. The rules and regulations dont apt to everyone....also they dont even have an allocate section and they only sell allocated items to people they know. Had a customer ask for a certian bottle and was told not to sell it them because they dont look like they could afford it.

I can always find what I’m looking for at Arlington Wine and Liquor.Parking is easy, although the plaza can be very busy at times.Everything inside is neatly arranged and can be readily found.The employees are usually available to assist and are friendly and knowledgeable. They may also carry the purchase to your car.Prices are normal.

Sometimes its just good to sit down at home with a bottle of Jack Daniels Old Number 7. This is my favorite whiskey of all time. At the present time Im having a few shots along with a sip or two of water. Feeling good!

Can only comment on the online ordering and will and it was excellent. Ordered on Friday afternoon and received my package Tuesday morning in perfect condition. Shipping was excellent and the items were packaged perfectly. Can definitely reccomend and will use again.

I brought a bottle of Cocchi - Americano Aperitif I love this wine it was my first time drinking it, my friend introduced me to this wine to try the first time, it has a sweet fruit spices citrus taste, from then I got hooked so I brought from Arlington store their prices are good and shipping is fast and hassle free. You should try it with soda.

Definitely one of the classier liquor stores in the area. Theres usually a decent selection of mainstay liquors. Not really the place to look if youre searching for common lower shelf party-liquor....but on the other end of the spectrum, they havent had much in the ways of limited release bottles or other hard to find variants (at least never when Ive looked). Its also a bit pricey (relative to others around here), but not horribly so.

Ive been meaning to get to this place for about 14 months and Im so grateful I made the trip today.Joe was the fellow who worked with me and he had everything I was beck and call when I requested particular wines.Definitely my new go-to place for wines

I have been a customer of Arlington Wine and Liquors for over 25 years and have loved the large selection and excellent pricing that they offer.The staff has always been friendly and knowledgeable. The owner has been a delight to talk with. However on my most recent visits I have encountered hostility and rudeness from the general manager, Joe Pellizzari. I am considering looking for another wine shop to purchase from.. It is a real shame as I have patronized the store for so long. I would like to complement Chuck who I have always found very patient and knowledgeable about the wines sold there.I am not sure if the store has been sold to a new owner and perhaps Mr. Pellizzari is not very happy with the new business model.

1st time visit. They have a great selection and its open and airy. Not cramped in like most places.I asked for help and recieved it quickly.Got everything I was looking for and was out the door quickly.The only issue you may have is parking. Lots not huge and theres quite a lot of traffic in the area so be prepared.But worth the visit.

The manager Joe has a big mouth and he likes to be a sarcastic fool. He thinks he’s slick. learn some customer service etiquette before you can call yourself a manager.

Arlington is one of the top wine stores in Poughkeepsie. Their shelves are well stocked with a wide variety of wines and spirits, and the staff are very helpful. On weekends they invite vendors in to provide free tastings, and Arlington will research and place special orders for hard to find brands.

The staff knows wine, which is important because the selection can overwhelm. Some things are very well priced and there are always value bins and sale prices for the budget conscious. If you need a selection for an occasion -- be it upscale or down -- ask for advice and you will not be steered wrong.
