Friendly service and good selection of that hard to find part in a pinch!

Small store, but most of the time has the quick needed item you need while in the middle of a project. However, if you need something extremely specific you may want to call b4 showing up, or try a larger store.

The staff is always willing to help you find what you need and when inventory isnt as you hope they are sensitive to how frustrating that can be and try to find an alternative. We definitely consider them one of our best choices when we need something and often start here. Weve also rented from them and had great experiences with that as well.

Has pretty much everything you need and everything you could want that you would expect a good hardware store to have. Plus a few more household items then I expected. Staff was friendly and not bothersome, fair prices, clean store. Worth a visit.

I am always asked what I am looking for right away. I am also surprised they usually have what I need. Saves me time and miles on the car.

I had to buy a mower since I sold mine when I moved. They said they would deliver in three days after a very quick transaction... they delivered it the next day. Called to let me know it arrived and where they put it, exactly where I said. Great team!!!

I am basing this review of not only being a former employee here, but also my customer experience. Former employee review: First I must say that this is a pretty decent first job for a young teen. The pay is not great but you get work experience. I worked here for close to year and enjoyed it sometimes. I really like the interactions with the customers best. Getting to know the regulars and helping them. They were also certain parts I enjoyed. Mixing paint and cashiering I enjoyed best. But working here, there is a lot expected of you. I remember getting yelled at for not knowing how to build something such as a grill or snowblower (they do make you build those). In the hiring process, they never told you what exactly your work day would look like, so there were plenty of surprises. I remember having to snowblow the parking lot in the winter when it was negative temperatures. That wasnt fun. Some coworkers are nice but a lot of the ones I enjoyed left for a better paying, more professional job. The former manager who was so nice left because he was treated terribly. He couldnt take it anymore. Now they have still not really found a new solid manager so there is plenty of management issues. Also, the air quality inside the store is soo bad for you and your health. The VOCs and more. I would always come home smelling like heavy fertilizer. Also, I got a neck injury and many back injuries from working here as well. So may not be the safest place. There is also a lot of workplace rules and regulations they do not follow. Alot of the time as well when I was slow which was often, you were always looking for things to do and pretending you had work to do but you didnt. In summar, its a decent first job for a young teen, some co workers and customers can be friendly, and there are some fun things you get to do. The smell!!! The store smells like a nuclear site. First time I didnt go to the store, although I know they have the part in stock, BECAUSE of the VOCs you breath in by just walking around.

Normally I get great service at ACE. However, today’s attempt at getting a combination sports license for my husband and a fishing license for both of us was not to be. We told them to cancel it. We went to Scheels instead. The license was not canceled. So our experience at Scheels was tough as well. We wound up having to get a duplicate license. I still have to call the DNR to get my fishing license...I’m not sure but I think it’s because the guys @ ACE spelled my first name wrong....2.5 hours later and I still don’t have a fishing license....

Bought some live bait the other night. Two scoops received 15 minnows, looked to be all male fat heads, he puts them in a bag with very little water an no air. I live 4 min away an they were all DEAD by the time I got home. Its not the first time this has happened either.

The seniors here care more about you wearing your mask above your mouth then they do about actually helping you.

I go here first for all my hardware needs. The employees are knowledgeable and very helpful (not like some of the big-box DIY stores around).

They are ALWAYS helpful, you have to be patient as they seem to help out everyone find exactly what they need.(directed towards the poor review trolls) I cant wait to have them redo all my window screens this spring.

Piss poor service. Come in to find a part for my snow blower and as one guy is looking up the part, the manager is standing there saying how he doesnt know why people keep coming for parts when they dont have a mechanic on the clock. Not going to have to worry about me coming there again.

I called to see if they had a certain chainsaw they confirmed they had where I was looking for when I got there they had put the wrong gas in it agreed to give me an upgrade chainsaw hoad to wait for the manager that was off duty to come in which took another hour Long story short the product I was looking for does not work-and I have to return it tomorrow what a waste of my time .
