A really great, friendly and knowledgeable owner who lords over a shop full of great stuff at fair prices. Well worth a stop on your next thrifting/antiquing hunt for unique items.
Very friendly guy. Tons of very cool postcards of the area and other areas. Postcards are $3 each but some of the other items are pretty expensive, but look to be quality.
Unique selection of items. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Had a fantastic couple of hours in Red Bridge Antiques last week — knowledgeable owner, lots of treasures, and very reasonable prices. Highly recommend a visit!
Roughly a decade ago, in one of my early visits to Red Bridge Antiques, I admired an old metal sign. After purchasing it, the owner generously brought it to my home to make certain that it fit the space and suited the decor. He also explained the history of the item. That was the the beginning of a long term relationship with Red Bridge Antiques. While not the tidiest shop in the world, those who are interested in finding a range of unique items should make a point to visit. There are some wonderful things from jewelry to paintings to furniture to knickknacks. And if you dont see what youre looking for, ask. The owner is a seasoned antiques man who relishes identifying something that a customer has expressed an interest in. Additionally, the owner, who is both honest and knowledgeable, has a fine sense of humor and an amazing network in the antiques industry. The result is that if a customer has a question, he promptly offers an informed response or will do research thats terrifically valuable. Moreover, the owner is patient with visitors who pop up in to ask a question about something they see in the store or may have in their home. Thus, there are many regular customers, locals and those who travel from as far as Europe, who have come to know that they can learn a lot from the owner. It is not unusual to find several customers in the store asking questions about something they own, have seen or read about. Because of the relationship that the owner maintains with other antique dealer in/outside of the area, one shouldnt be surprised if he refers you to someone else who specializes in what you may be seeking. He is recognized as a trusted business person and a pillar in the antiques community both in Providence and beyond.
I paid a visit to this store over the weekend and had a wonderful experience. The owner was super friendly and knowledgeable. The shop was full of very unique items that were reasonably price.
I drove one hour to your store to find out that you where closed!! As a business owner, when you post that you open at 10:00 you better be open. This is not the first time a tried to visit you store. NEVER AGAIN!!!! POOR BUSINESS
Richard is a pleasure to work with. Fair and trustworthy. I stop by whenever I am near Wickenden St!
