Joe is the only person I trust with my piercings. He is incredibly knowledgeable about his craft and will make sure you know everything you need to, to have a good experience. He makes himself available after youve been pierced by him as well if you have any questions or concerns.If I want quality, I go to Evolution.

I called this shop around 6:15pm on 12/26/2020. I politely inquired about appointment availability, for the same day, if possible. The gentleman who answered the phone was extremely rude to me, and answered my question with a youre joking right?, insinuating that I shouldve known that theyd be booked to the ceiling with appointments (when walk-ins at various shops are not unheard of). Im new to getting piercings, and this guy totally took the joy and excitement out of my experience. Now, Ill never go here or recommend this shop just based off of this interaction on the phone.

I called to see pricing and availability. I let whoever picked up know I wanted to call around to a couple of other places and he responded with “well DONT bother calling back here because were not the cheapest and we never will be so go get your $20 hack job on Cranston street” and hung up on me..... I wouldn’t trust anyone with that temperament with a needle anywhere near my body.

I got a nose stud and it barely hurt. he was so kind and funny that i forgot it hurt. it is very pretty and i would definitely reccomend to people!! definitely will be going there again!!

Called to find out how much they were charging for nose piercings and the guy who answered the phone was extremely rude and laughed telling me good luck finding somewhere cheaper. That’s a great way to get customers and service.

I went to re-pierce my nose but this bald guy was just really rude. He just closed the door after saying some stupid things. He use the excuse that my nose could get infected, but that’s a risk that everyone getting a piercing has to run, that’s exactly why every piercing shop make you sing a paper giving you full responsibility. We just went to a better place and my piercing is healing perfectly fine.

Joe and Chantal are the best. Hands down. They are the only ones that I would ever even consider for any piercings. I have been a loyal customer since 1996 and would never settle elsewhere. They are knowledgeable and their work impeccable, through in explanations and sterilization . They are not the type for people who dont care about seriously paying attention to aftercare or are looking for bottom basement pricing. Their pricing is fair a d the jewelry is high quality. If you want high quality work go there.

I would give zero stars If I could. We arrived at the place and theres a sign on the door that says be back in 10 minutes. We wait 20 minutes and its still there. Finally he shows up about 15 minutes later. I had to go back for my I.d which I had forgotten. (Totally my fault) Hes aware of us returning as he says he will be waiting. When we get back the door is locked and theres a group of people saying theyve been waiting for a while. We try calling and he doesnt answer but we see him in the crack from the door inside. I knock on the glass and he closes the door and never comes out. Terrible service. Never returning again.

Joe was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and could not thoroughly explain and show me any better that everything he used was sterilized on the spot. I walked in on impulse wanting a surface piercing that my local shop back in NJ was not willing to do for me. He showed me he that he uses 90 degree angle surface bars which have a significantly lower rejection rate than other jewelry used. This is the type of shop that is very serious and delivering what you want with no goofs, gimmicks, or stupid jokes or pointless conversations made on the side. Dont go in there bringing a group of friends all giggling and expect to get top notch treatment. One-on-one with Joe is the way to go!

My daughter got a peircing from Joe on her birthday last year. We were so pleased with the experience and her healing time that we returned to see Joe again this year! He is very knowledgeable and he explained everything and helped her choose appropriate jewlery for her piercings. The shop is clean and he worked carefully to ensure a proper sterile area and quick painless piercing.

I came here on Feb 23rd 2019 for a Cristina piercing as it was also my 1st visit, joe was very knowledgeable, very clean, very forward he does not sugar coat anything, he takes his job serious & also walk’s you through his sterilization process along with any questions that follow it, I have no problems with my piercing & it looks great, very very clean shop also no cross contamination, recommended great jewelry as well, i plan to return for another piercing soon .

I came to google to search for the hours on when to call. I saw 2 people give a 1star rating that I feel is not accurate by any means. Joe pierced me for 3 years many moons ago while I lived in RI. I went back recently and just got new piercings and he was just as great as he was years ago. He is super knowledgeable, practical, and treats every single customer with respect. Another 1 star review was saying they close at 9 but at 8:30 they were closed? Well any service industry will close their doors early. It takes time to prep, sterilize, and get somebody ready for a piercing. if you go to a hair salon and they say they close at 9pm, would you go at 8:30? If so, youre the rude patron, not the stylist.

I got my piercing here the guys had great personalities, my piercing was fast and clean explained everything as it was happening. And I’m going back hopefully today 😁

I stopped by on my lunch break. The lights were on but door was locked. Sign said they opened at 12. Its 12:30. I kept knocking and called the phone #. I could see a guy in there! No response. Did not answer the phone. He finally opened the door a crack and told me he was too busy to open. I politely asked him when he would be open. He said 4:30 to 8. I came back at 5:30 and again the door was locked, lights were on, no one answered the phone. I could see the guy in there! Never experienced anything like this. I would give a quarter star if I could.

Went here on my birthday to get my nose pierced and was treated horribly by the bald guy working there. I chose not to pay $70 to have a guy pierce me who didnt tell me the price of any of the piercings when I asked about them and had an uncovered wart on his arm. So I apologized for any trouble I caused him and went to leave, he replied by calling me a waste of time, followed me out and yelled for me to never come back. So I turned around and re-entered the store to walk in on him talking about me to his next customer waiting. Coming from someone who works in customer service I know firsthand thats not how customers should be treated, especially when knowing its their birthday.

I realise this is pretty late to post my review on this location. I had thought I had written one already. Anyhow, after much reviewing online and knowing exactly what I wanted done. Joe was highly recommend. Back in November 2016, after doing a lot of research on it, which most people should do. Get as much information on the procedure that you want. So I contacted Joe, from the moment I called, Joe was extremely helpful, proffesional and he explained everything. So at that point I made a appointment. I see people who think prices are to high or he was rude, unprofessional and he was to expensive. Let me state this...his prices are NOT to high, remember you get what you pay for. I am far from fake and I was NEVER prompted to write great review. Nobody prompts me to say great reviews to boost ratings. This post comes from my heart. When I state anything good or bad, its the truth. Im not anyone who is told what to do or say. Anyhow, from the point of arrival I was greeted by a very kind and proffesional person, whom was Joe. He proceeded with much more information on how everything that he will be doing and explained in great detail. I had a cleavage piercing, which was more detailed than a regular piercing is done. He explained everything about his product he uses down to how I need to take care of it. So now I was ready to go. He spoke with such a calm voice, explained each and everything he was about to do. I was nervous because I thought that where it was located would hurt more than any other one Ive received. Guess what, it did not hurt at all. He was very gentle and caring. From beginning to end. This was the best experience I have had getting this done. Not to mention Ive been back there a few times for stretching wars to buying new jewelry. His place is layed out so perfect, very clean, sterile just like you were about to go into surgery. I HIGHLY recommend Evolution and Joe..I can promise that you will walk out very satisfied. People really need to stop price shopping, as cheap DOES NOT me good. Do your homework. Joe, I will be back for more. Thank you for a great experience!

Absolutely terrible experience, doesnt even deserve one star. i honestly believe these other reviews are fake. Joe is one of the rudest most condescending people i have ever encountered. would not trust someone like him to pierce or adjust anything on my body, left at the last second and im forever thankful i did. ive never reviewed a place before but this experience prompted me to. pay the extra few bucks and go someplace nice like east coast or rockstar and spare yourself from the horrendous visit to this absolute dump.
