I’ve heard good things about this store but when I went I saw tons of stuff that is commonly sold on Amazon for 3 times the price. I actually had some of the items so I was pretty insulted that they were really doubling some of the prices in order to make a 100% profit. Please get some more unique stuff, Thayer street is too good for this. I mean 9 dollars for a paper lantern?! WHAT

Great place a lot of different crystals, herbs, diety figures, clothes and so much other stuff, books glass bowls, singing bowls. Great variety. Staff is super nice I would definitely come back again.

Not what it used to be. Over the last 10 years I have watched this store change into a unique hippie shop to a not so unique shop. I loved shopping all the local items to support local business s. Now I notice lots of items sold here ive seen sold at 5 below that are marked up as well. A lot of mass produced things as well. The staff is still super cool and helpful. It just so sad to leave a review like this

Went in there today with my fiance looking for sage and the girl that helped us was very friendly but when I got to the register I handed the other young girl my card and she throw my card on the counter and was really rude and I feel like if you are working in a spiritual store and you are not liking your job then dont come to work. That negative energy is not necessary.

This place is so fun to browse around in! They have a little bit of everything. A great selection of crystals and incense as well as costume jewelry. The staff are very helpful and friendly. It’s always an adventure in Spectrum India- you never know what you’re going to find! I would advise to stay away from their small selection of plants however. They never look very healthy.

Spectrum- India is a place that everyone should visit. It has all sorts of stuff ranging from Indian apparel, incense for the house, sound bowls, ritualistic craft stuff, and much more. When I go to Thayer Street, I always make sure to stop by Spectrum- India. Not only do they have cool stuff, but they also have very nice staff who is very knowledgeable about the things in the shop. Also, Spectrum-India has great affordable prices. So if youre out in Providence on Thayer Street, be sure to check out Spectrum India. Hopefully, youll like this place as much as I do.

This store is great in that it always makes me ponder about the ethicality of making money off of pseudoscience.Should we respect the tenets of capitalism and recognize that any demand can and should be met with sufficient supply?Or should we shun the sale of things that can be scientifically proven to be quackery, and not confer any non-placebo benefit?Maybe a humanistic worldview would dictate that if any practice makes someone feel better in some way, then this is a net positive, and whether its through deceptive placebo effect or real cause and effect shouldnt matter.On the flip side, going for a pseudo solution for a real problem might not prove to be sustainably sufficient, and might keep someone from seeking out a solution to their problem that would actually confer verifiable and repeatable benefit.But then again, what if the individual doesnt have the means to find that real solution, or maybe this solution doesnt even exist, and spiritual quackery is their only refuge of some sort of solution to their problem.

One of my all time favorite places to shop in Providence. Great prices, friendly staff, great management and very unique and rare items. They also have one of the best and most complete selections of Incense anywhere!

I have been coming here since my teenage years and have always had the most wonderful conversations with the owner and staff. The energy is calming and soothing and even on a bad day I may just walk in to refresh and cleanse all the subconscious or conscious negative energy. The books, the clothing, and the other products that are offered here have been my go to since I can remember. For as long as they are here I will be a loyal shopper and friend.

Always a good place to stop in and grab some new incense, the man there has been there since I can remember and they always have good books in there and clothings pretty nice too but they have an abundance of different things from rocks to rings. Its always good vibes in there.

Jagdish Uncle had much more to offer than just his fabulous trinkets. We learned a lot about the growth of Providence over the years, and his rich culture. The most precious thing was that even after years of my girlfriend leaving the state, he remembered her and greeted her with so much warmth and excitement.

This place is honestly the coolest thing ever! It was a little hard to get to only because there isnt much parking around and the side street next to it was closed for construction but the people were super nice and very helpful and i will definitely be back

This is one of the most welcoming places I have ever experienced, in life, not only stores, places Ive been in totality of my life, there was a great mix of crystals, spiritual tools, incense, trinkets, clothing, jewelry, and big fashion........as well there are separate element including dreadlock preparation henna art and eyebrow threading in a cozy Nook, and also the elements of the owner Jagdish who is a beam of light and experience in itself, good intentions all over this location and 50 years of solid buisiness growth, glad to have experienced it.... my dear friend Alex recommended this place to me and suggested that I drove all the way from Scituate Mass to go see it and Im glad that I did and I will be a repeat customer for as long as I live......
