Took my own candy from the containers and paid for the baggie by weight which wasnt too expensive. You can definitely get better prices if you were to just buy candy on sale at Walgreens or something, but then you wouldnt get the variety or the cool experience of walking into a candy store.The candy was definitely good, but unfortunately when a bunch of different types of candy are together in one bag, the flavors and sour coatings and all that start to mix together so its better to separate the bags if youre getting two vastly different kinds of flavors in your candy and pay for them separately. Thats something I forgot about because its not very often that I buy candy from a candy store.Obviously, at the end of the day its all just flavored sugar, but it was still enjoyable and a nice little treat. Some prices for other items are a bit on the high side. Like I believe they had a foreign section where there was imported candy which of course is very pricey so thats understandable, but some other stuff were also pretty common candy items you can find elsewhere so they were way too expensive to justify buying there.

There is a good range of candy here (new, old, chocolate, gummy-ish [gummy bear like], gum-ish, per piece/per-packaged and pretty/presentable. its pricey, but you can make some nice presents or get some decent yummy feels and some old throwbacks lol. Its located third floor at the mall, across from the food court. Tends not to be super crowded, if you have sweet tooth then its the place to experience something new.

I absolutely love this candy store. It is so old fashioned and adorable! Many options for candy including some international candies. I visit here every time I am in RI.

Tons of fun packaged and handmade candies. My wife and I liked this shop because they had a great selection of Japanese candies. The staff is super friendly and helpful and they can explain to all the different selections that they offer. I recommend stopping in to check it out.

Candy store at the providence mall in Rhode Island. Modern setting and wide array of candy options. Oh and the name -What a bright idea!

On May 30 there was one worker who was operating the store. She left for a lunch break at 2:40 and said that she would return in 20 minutes. An hour and a half later, she still did not come back and resume her shift.Irresponsible workers like this should not be running this tremendous candy store!

I am sorry to said but the candy are dry and the flavors super gross, most of it is gummy bears 🐻 also prices are expensive for such poor quality.

The staff was attentive and friendly. The store was fairly busy, and the staff made sure to reach out to every customer to make sure they were finding everything that was needed. The selection of candies and chocolates is fantastic, and the atmosphere of the store was wonderful. We were helped with a smile and everyone was pleasant! Looking forward to going back soon.

Wide variety of choices from sweet to savory to exotic. Travis was super helpful and kind. Definitely recommend this place to satisfy your sweet tooth.

When will your store be going out of business?!Store front is very cute and colorful. I was excited to purchase a gift box of fun gourmet candy for a friend on my way to work. Sales staff not at all helpful in this non-busy store. Sales clerk too busy stock shelves to attend to a purchase.Asked sales clerk about making up a gift box and he stated We dont really do that. You can pick out candy and we can charge you for a box. I stated that there used to be gift boxes made up on display. Sales clerk states, oh ya we had to dismantle them. Proceeded to chose candy for my gift box and asked to see the box size so I could gauge if the candy choices will fit. The sales clerk points to the box behind the counter. Asked again to see the box on the counter and he begrudgingly got the box and opened it for me. Chose my candy, about $60 worth, placed it in the box myself and asked if they had tissue for the gift box. Sales clerk states, no we dont have that any more.Told him to forget it and went to Godiva where the sales clerk happily made up a gift box, gift bag with tissue within 10 minutes.Will not be back to this store and will not recommend it to friends.

Bulk candy is extremely cheap, the wrapped candy is fair but you cant get it anywhere else, making it a decent deal. Either way, this store is absolutely amazing and has some amazing steals you cant get elsewhere.The bulk candy (the ones in the bins) are very cheap - you can basically can get a giant gallon pail (~10 lbs of candy) with refills at $35 each time you visit. You can fill it with any candy in the store - yes, you can fill it with a pound of triple chocolate malt balls, throw in some dark coconut haystacks, and maybe splurge on some vodka flavored gummies. The store has TONS of different candies that they rotate out every few weeks for different ones.Find me ANYWHERE where you can 10 pounds of good quality candy of your choosing for $35. Ive looked. Candy subscriptions, bulk suppliers, dollar stores, Walmarts, its all lower quality at a higher price. If you buy the same exact candy online that they sell in the bins, you will pay easily 5x more - the candy they get is a tier above the rest, you can Google it yourself. You even get points every time you spend... honestly, this store might actually be losing money!The prices are amazing and its disappointing that some reviewers on here think its a bad deal because they cant math. Yet, other stores in this mall like Starbucks and Godiva have tons of good reviews - youre happy to buy $10 for a small coffee and a cake pop at starbucks and $10 per chocolate dipped strawberry at Godiva, but if someone offers you a gallon of candy of your choosing for $35, you think its a bad deal? Maybe if this shop tripled its prices theyd get more people. Shame.

They carry candy brands that I havent seen since I was a child back in the 1970s. Excellent quality; the chocolate actually tastes like chocolate!

Staff was kind and then selection was very different from other places. My kids loved there gummie suprises. The Candy is good quality. The candy actually tastes like the flavors listed. The mi ti and alcholic flavored gummies delicious. The mermaid tales reminded me of the ocean. The fruit slices where just perfect and i never can find them like they should be. I was very suprised at the quality. You definitely get what u pay for. Sometimes exspensive is worth it. Good job staff.

They have candy that you cannot find anywhere else. I always stop in whenever I am craving sweets. I am obsessed with their gummy bears.
