Went to the Warwick store and they didn’t have the chair I wanted in stock. The Warwick clerk (who was excellent by the way), called providence and they had it. We decided to have them assemble it (which is $15 extra) and pick it up the next day. When we got the chair home, we discovered they had assembled the wrong chair (although similar). We went back to the store to purchase the correct chair (we weren’t even going to return the wrong one). Again, we had them assemble it. Thought all was well this time, right? WRONG. They never secured the arm rests to the back of the chair. I’m seriously tired of going back and forth from Warwick to Providence just for an office chair. I will avoid doing business with that store ever. You should too.***UPDATE***Spoke w the manager (Kevin) of Providence store and he is going to make it right. That’s the ONLY reason for three stars.
In a difficult 2020 I managed to keeps my business above water and help friends businesses out in the meantime. I also managed to spend over $20 thousand at staples. I know it is not up to some other companies spend but it was something. The providence staples staff the last 5 or 6 visits has not only been rude but completely non helpful. I get it working at staples might suck for you but at least just be a decent human being.
If you are lost and looking for an item in this very large store all alone and are in need of help... this store is not for you. The salesperson in any department you see will not help you. They will watch you. They will not help you. Provide them with info on the object. They will say Ive never seen it... Doubt Ill be back.
Every single thing in here is nearly double the price of what it is online or other retailers.
Stupid customer service at printing area. They are very rude.
In the service section where copy and print orders are prepared by employees, customers are doing self service copies, and UPS parcels can be dropped off, dont expect to be treated different than paper, ink, or the piece of plastic you intend to pay with. Will not enter this store again.
A nice young lady helped me out. thanks and patience is key when being here lol
Great service! They always have everything I need.
They are always very helpful. I go often to scan documents to e-mail and never thought I would trust staples for my Computer repair and are great. Still don’t like email rewards, but that will change soon. I just trust the store and very picky. Just very helpful.
I come here periodically and it has always been a good experience. Specifically today I was helped by Dan. He helped me find exactly what I was looking for. When the line to check-out was growing Dan came and assisted and rung me up. He noticed I grabbed the wrong item from our previous conversation and wanted to double check with me. Turns out I did and Dan took the items himself and went and grabbed the correct one for me. He was professional, courteous, and so helpful. It’s service like this that goes above and beyond and I greatly appreciated it. Thank you, Dan!
Good location, close to other stores that you may need to go to. Has a wide selection of products. I’ve used the printing services multiple times. No hassle.Good customer service.
This place is awesome because of the staff. The nicest most helpful folks. I visited the store prior to a conference and they were so helpful from printing to tech support. I lost a receipt when I was back home and they were awesome enough to print a copy, scan and email. Above and beyond!
I have reviewed this Staples previously...I really believe that it is one of the best ones around. Parking was a bit more difficult this time as I went at 4:45 PM and there is a Whole Foods Market in the same plaza...but other than that..I went in, checked out some tablets, purchased some mailing envelopes and was out within 15 minutes! Great, courteous Asociates and service!
Ive always had a pleasant encounter with all the associates Ive came in contact with at this store. The reason for only 4 stars and not 5 is because, there have been a few times that my order was not correct as far as some of my flyer words being cut off or the quality of my order not to satisfactory. But I love the deals I get and the time frame for picking up or shipping my orders. I will definitely use them again, but to an extent.
Great service from some really good people, I am lucky to be a customer with such hard working people. The store is a little small and doesnt carry everything I need, but it often has some things that I forget and accidentally find there. The only hangup I get is that they close pretty early, it would be good to have a place that can provide some possible services after 8:00 PM.Otherwise, I give them five stars for selling me only what I need, and nothing more.
This location, despite having somewhat limited hours in the evening, is in a great location if youre needing some office supplies. The staff has been helpful when Ive needed to find certain supplies, and their copy center is excellent and easy to use. Overall a nice store!
DO NOT LOOK FOR STAMPS HERE!!!!!!! They dont have them here Liars$$$$$$$@
Staples received an F rating from the Better Business Bureau. I would recommend everyone stop shopping at ALL of their stores and online. Their customer service is horrendous and does not deserve our business. As customers, we should take our business to a store that respects and appreciates its customers. Staples certainly does not!!!
Worst service EVER!!! I took my notebook to Staples Easy Tech after it crashed. The tech said they would call me in about 48 hours with diagnosis, but they never contacted me. After waiting for a week, I visited the store to talk to them in person, and the same tech said they could not figure out the issue but they were still working on it. Soon after I left, they called me and said there was a problem with the hardware, and we needed to replace it. The price quote this tech gave me was about $180, which was one of the most expensive solutions listed. But another tech jumped in to say there was a mistake; it would be actually about $250. I still thought fixing it would be better than purchasing a new one at that point, and I paid for the service. After the hard drive was replaced, I brought my notebook home, and noticed it was still not working properly. After a couple days, it crashed again a few times, so I called them back and they told me to bring it back. I had to wait again for over a week to hear back from them, and was told it was a virus, now. I told them the issue I had with my computer was exactly the same and asked them why the exact same problem was due to virus this time. They simply said I or whoever used the computer for those few days infected it with virus. Since I had no other choice, I asked them to go ahead and fix the virus. It took them about a week, and I brought my computer back home hoping that it would really work this time. But its still not working properly and crashing all the time. I called them again and they said they would take a look at it again, but there was not much they could do, and I or someone else did something to the computer that caused this crashing problem.I so wish I had never taken my computer to Staples Each Tech only to waste my money and time. These people are thieves without knives, their price quotes change all the time, and they do not know what they are doing. Please please DO NOT take your computer to Staples to have it fixed. Do not waste your money and time with these dishonest, incapable people, please. I regret it so much and now I have to buy a new notebook anyway after throwing away $250 with no result.
This is strictly a review based on personnel.I know that working behind a register can be unpleasant and boring, I did it myself for many years, but a general “hello” would be good. Not only was I not greeted in any way, but the cashier only told me to insert my card and the total. No “how are you?”, “did you find what you needed?”- it even a have a nice day.Rarely use staples as I find the prices to be high, but I needed a binder befor work, so I didn’t have many options within the area.Just disappointed that a simple greeting is no longer within the spectrum of human kindness.
It is a convenient place to ship packages from, but you really have to look over their shoulder. They rush around too fast and dont pay attention at the counter. One time the girl was about to put a shipping label on the wrong package and another time they didnt measure the box correctly, doubling the cost.
For product this store is fine. But for particular services this store is not equipt. If someone doesnt know how to use your fax machine, you should WALK over to the machine with them and show them how to correctly feed the paper in the FAX machine. Especially when the anoint of money for said fax use is so expensive.
Well stocked Staples, have used this store multiple times for different services. When its busy parking can be a bit tough but not too bad
It used to be at Staples, you would be acknowledged by the 1st Associate you came in contact with, smilling and friendly . interested in helping find you what you needed. Not so anymore.Ive been in several times looking around. Only time you get help is if you take like you may break something, or been in for 30 plus minutes. Thats when maybe they start wondering if your casing the place. My point is, yrs, you .... You havent done your f... Job and dont know if I may be wanting to spend money. Then its why am I here time and bye.
Im not sure how to describe the customer service in this store, except that it is so abysmal its almost comical. If youve ever seen a satire of customer service, it is very close to this experience. It s as if they have a checklist of service criteria only in order to do the direct and exact opposite. I am not using hyperbole when I say that I would rather go to the DMV than this store. Yes, I promise you, its THAT bad. Its unfortunate this team is so utterly incompetent because all of the dealings Ive had with Staples online customer service have been wonderful.
Been shopping here for years. Almost always find what Im looking for and often find unexpected deals and products that are useful.
The ladies were so nice and wanting to help.
Terrible customer service. NOT friendly, no assistance in helping me finding what I needed, and when cashing out - the first cashier directed me to the customer service desk to get my items rang out. Now, this customer service cashier redirected me back to the original cashier, who was already helping another customer ring his items out after claiming she was not open, and after redirected me to the other cashier.
Don’t go here they don’t know what they are talking about
Unorganized place. I dont like the environment of the shop here. Some places like BestBuy you feel much better when youre shopping and looking for items.
Just to login to a computer and print 3 pages then fax them it cost near 20 dollars. One machine was out of ink. One couldnt take my card. The computer took several minutes to log on to the internet and I was charged. Unbelievable.
A quick place too get office supplies
I just want to say thanks for the referrals youve sent to us for people looking for a local data recovery service. You guys are the best, keep it up.
The staff is friendly, best place to print out school paper
Convenience place to find your office needs
The staff and management are always professional and helpful at this store.
Last night, I went to use one of their printers to make photocopies of my drivers license. I was able to to get this done right as the store was closing. I specifically remember one of the employees standing by the exit door informing all of the customers that the store would be closing in 2 minutes as I walked out. Unfortunately when I got home, I realized I had left my license inside of the printer. This morning I made my way to the store as soon as it opened to go get my license and decided to give them a call on my way. The woman placed me on hold for 26 minutes and nobody ever spoke with me. I was actually still on hold as I waited in line for my turn at the printing center. When my turn was up, the woman behind the counter redirected me to the cashiers to ask the Staples Manager. I explained my story and he responded rudly with I already checked our lock box and I didnt see anything but Ill look again. I was in the middle of explaining to him that I had been placed on hold for 26 minutes and eventually hung up because nobody spoke with me, but he just walked away to the back.Shortly after, the cashier standing behind the counter informed me that per Manager, my license was not there. Listen, I know that I lost my license and that is nobodys fault but mine, however this Staples staff and Managers dismissive demeanor really upset me. I couldnt believe the Manager couldnt walk back over to me to tell me himself my license was not found. I also couldnt believe they chose not to acknowledge the fact that they placed a customer on hold for 26 minutes with no response. Had I not hung up, it would have been over 26 minutes. What a lack of professionalism. If you want to be treated like a burden, come here. They do a really good job at not being forethcoming with their customers. I felt I was treated with little to no respect. I cant help but feel my license was mishandled as I was the last person to use that specific printer and one of the first customers there the following day when the store just opened. Really bad experience and I havent experienced bad customer skills like this in a long time.
Staples is a great place to buy home and office supplies for a decent price.
Its good for your office needs
No HP Sprocket printer listed on sale... imagine that. Flae sales to get people in the stores so they can sell you something else.
I was only parked in their shaded parking lot.. The shade was worth 3 stars..lol
This stapples has been very helpfull, they have always provided me with good costumer service.
I went there to do a fax and the staff were so helpful
Great staples. Really great.
True customer service should be about staying there until the customer is satisfied and the procedures are finished walking away from the customer leaving them confused is not proper customer service
It takes 15 minutes to print my 3-page file. Rather go to the library than waste my time here.
Take about twenty minutes just to reopen the computer. Don’t print here if you are in a hurry.
Awesome customer service!
Nice customer service.
Dont ever bother calling them!!They dont answer their phones!!!!!!!
Very good, service.
How do I search for photo paper in the store view. No search capability.. Really frustrating.....
I always find what I need
I did not find what I was looking for, I was looking for a case for SAMSUNG GALAXY S9 +, but they only sell case for IPHONE!
We had to print a document it was so urgent. We said maybe staples has a printer? Guess what..They do have printers for customers and we made it so quickly.Thank you Staples.
I like it here cause they have everything.
Quick, friendly and easy.
They are there when you need em
Great assortment in front of the store
You can find a lot of things there.
I loved ot
WORST STAPLES BY FAR. Horrible service, employees are lazy and aren’t there to help you find the best product you need.
Copy machine self service is way too complicated to use and help is very rare. Waisted $5.78 trying g to get a two sided copy. Was not refunded.
Very good!
The customer service in the copy/fax department was non existent!!!
They advertise as all of your printing needs, but when you ask the clerk, they cant produce it in a timely manner. Never go to Staples!!
Their answering phone services is horrible.
Was here 6 months ago and had to wait because too many order. Was here today and same excuse. Damn staples. Get more damn printers or more staff.
