Worse place I have ever tried to buy a vehicle. I was in there several months back trying to buy a truck. All they done was run the numbers, said this is it and you are hard to get financed. Never even tried to work with me what so ever. So I left and will never go back. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

The easiest car buying experience. Logan, Sheree (spelling?), and Landon made it so easy. I highly recommend purchasing a vehicle here. Ive traded alot of vehicles. Never has it ever been that stress free. Sheree was excellent with our daughter. While we were filling out paperwork she helped her make a mothers day card and draw pictures. She also offered a place to nurse my son or store any bottles while we waited. We didnt have to beg for a decent offer for our trade. We didnt have to spend hours negotiating. My husband says Im not allowed to trade for at least 5 years. It may be a while but when it is time to trade again. Ill definitely be reaching out to them.

I went to Duncanss for an inspection and synthetic oil change for my Wifes Jeep Grand Cherokee. The Service manager Allen Seagle was my contact on the phone. Allen is incredibly friendly and knowledgable when it comes to cars and service as he had is own Auto repair and service shop locally for over 20 years. Dennis the service advisor waited on me when I got to the shop. He was respectful and courteous. While I was there I scheduled a service on our Suburban as well. Even the lady that took my payment (Monica) was incredibly kind. Even though there was snow and freezing temperatures outside they all greeted me warmly and respectfully. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone locally or traveling in the area for any and all service or repairs.

I was skeptical about doing business with a dealer 260 miles away from my home, However Emma and Benjamin reassured me the drive would be worthwhile and they would stay open waiting for us. My first thought was sure they will once Im there they will raise the price and fees. WELL THEY DID NOT AND THEY GAVE ME THE DEAL AS PROMISED. WOW were my wife and I happy and impressed. I then told them I forgot GAP insurance and they still made the deal work. They were very low key and not pushy. They just wanted to know what they could do to make the deal work. I could not believe how truly concerned these people were to help us. NO I was not paid or compensated in any way to write this recommendation. Our 8 hour trip total was well worth the drive. I live east of Richmond so you can imagine our drive and the leap of faith we had in them. I would highly recommend DUNCAN just get Benjamin and Emma to help you. These people made us feel like one of their family.

Since I had a Suzuki, I thought it was best to take my car to a Suzuki dealer for maintenance. I was so wrong! Whenever I went, even when I scheduled service weeks in advance, I never waited for less than an hour and a half. The last time I waited 3 hours for a simple oil change! And their prices and services are not worth the wait.As far as the service itself, they are friendly, knowledgeable and will take care of your car (which is why I gave them 3 stars instead of 2). However, there always seemed to be something wrong after I left that wasnt wrong when I went in and which forced me to return. For instance, I had my tires rotated, drove about 3 miles when my car started shaking violently. I turned back around and they said that my tires needed to be balance. I got my tires balanced, drove another 25 miles when my low tire pressure light came on. Low and behold, my tire had sprung a leak.If you have options, please find another place to go.

One of the best used car dealerships around the area. They have first class service and they always stand by their vehicles. I recently bought a Dodge Charger from them in September 2015. The vehicle started having problems and ended up needing to have the engine replaced. The vehicle continued to have problems and had to be serviced again. I notified Duncan and explained the situation. Duncan paid for me a rental car until the vehicle could be fixed. I ended up taking the vehicle back due to the problems and they refunded me the full price and found me another Charger that I ended up buying. Duncan is a dealership that will be straight up with you and won’t try to cheat you out of money. I would highly recommend dealing with their salesman Kyle and the General manager Jason. Both of them provide honorable and exceptional service.

DO NOT GO HERE.Bought a 06 Cadillac CTS, less than 16 hours later (the next day) the transmission went out in the college parking lot. They wouldnt pay for it or even help out b/c its AS IS. They wanted to charge me more by having them look at it. Good thing my dad is a mechanic. Ill be buying my next car across the street at Pulaski Motor Mile!

But I thank God that they was the ones that had the car I was looking for. What she and the team did for me there I can honestly say theres no way I couldve went anywhere else and got the deal I got, and Im not just saying it.. Its a fact!! Diane knew I needed some help and without her I wouldnt have the car that I wanted, needed, so badly! Ive not had the car a week and Ive had 2 people offer to buy it from me.. That be crazy of me.. Was sold a rusted out truck that had obviously been covered up. I am facing $4K in repairs on a $16K vehicle that I’ve owned for 6 months. Received some vehicle upgrades to compensate the initial rust found on the rocker panels, but after digging more, I am dealing with rust on the frame, bed, completely unusable spare tire, wheel wells, cab corners and inside of doors. Sent emails regarding the damage to sales and management without response. This is the second vehicle I have purchased from them in the past year or so totaling $30K.... On the other hand, the sales process(Emma)and financing are a breeze.

4 (5?) years ago, I took my Jeep here to get the heater core replaced. I asked them to also replace the hoses, which they did. When I got it back, they had torn some of the dash trim (looking for bolts?) and they somehow installed the heater hoses backwards.I had sworn off going back there, but a few months ago, I needed to replace the solenoid pack and was referred to them by another local shop that was reluctant to work on transmissions, and being in limp mode, I couldnt take it to a shop out of town.At first, I was told by a service adviser that it would be a week or more before they could get to it because they were too busy fixing their own vehicles. Not other customer vehicles, but their own vehicles, but they finally did get it done and for a reasonable price.Unfortunately, its been leaking fluid.. perhaps a quart every week or two. Its taken me this long to finally crawl under and see what was going on and possibly replace the gasket (and $70 worth of fluid). Much to my surprise, all 15 fasteners on the oil pan were loose. At first, I thought my torque wrench was set wrong, but when it finally clicked, I let out some very colorful language.1) I bought my Jeep from Duncan in 2002 (same name and logo, but apparently, a different company now).2) They had no reason to pry the trim off the dashboard. There is nothing in the FSM that says they should have done that.3) Apparently, their techs arent paid enough to afford a torque wrench, which is amazing, because they sure charge enough.3a) Maybe they prefer ugga-duggas to actual foot-pounds and inch-pounds.

In 2009 I purchased a Suzuki Equator pickup from Duncan Suzuki. It is well passed the first 100,00 mile mark without any mechanical problems being encountered. All routine service work has been done by their service department with excellent results. I have always gotten honesty and gold star treatment from them. (Im revising an earlier review from February 2018.) Took my car into Duncan today for a scheduled appt. set up through e-mail. The car was in the door four minutes after the shop opened. I was having some issues with shaking in the tires/steering which I was thought was created by some bad brake work done by Duncan (turns out it wasnt the brakes at all, so that was an error on my part). Was taken into the shop by Alan, the service manager and was shown under my car exactly the issues that were thought to be causing the shake, and the problems were remedied at a more than fair price. They clearly care about the customers experience. Needed this service done before an upcoming trip and the Duncan service team was accommodating. Was in at 7:30 and out at 10:30, which doesnt seem extremely fast, but when it comes to a job well done and personal safety, things like this shouldnt be rushed. Kudos and thanks to Alan and his team at Duncan Suzuki in Pulaski.

Scam. I got a flyer in the mail for a scratch off stating that I had won 2500 cash prize. Called and asked what was the catch the lady said, there is no catch all I had to do was schedule an appointment to come see the salesperson Mr. Green. I booked the appointment. Of course it was to try to get me to trade.I told Mr. Green that I was not interested in trading my truck, he said okay lets go get your prize. Apparently the prize had changed, I ended up with a cheap $20 smart watch.Thanks Duncan for wasting my time.

They say theres no such thing as a free lunch and we definitely should have paid attention to that. Were expanding our family soon and the $2500 prize we believed we won from Duncan Suzuki was going to really come in handy. Not to mention we were going to be in the market for a new vehicle next year and figured we knew where we were starting first since we figured it was the least we could do.When my wife arrived, she was informed that no, the prize was not in fact the $2500 but was a smart watch instead. And, looking at other postings, I see that we were not the only ones who had their hopes up as well only to be caught by some vague, inconsistent wording.My wife asked for clarification and the salesman she was speaking with took up the same tone one would take when lecturing a child. My wife then asked that he not insult her intelligence as, in our opinion, the prize information was deceptively written. The salesman informed my wife that she insulted her own intelligence by not reading and understanding what was, again, in our opinion, intentionally deceptive wording.,Now - Im definitely mad about what is, to us, a scummy advertising technique. There are no free lunches, and I cant believe that we fell for such an obvious thing. But hey, were expecting our first little one soon and were not going to turn down something that looks, after careful scrutiny, like its legit when it might mean we can better prepare for that.What Im most upset about though is the cavalier attitude the salesman apparently had towards insulting my wife and the utter lack of professionalism he had in the interaction.To that salesman: If youre frustrated because you had to explain that prize information over and over again today, which Im sure is part of it, perhaps dont put out advertising that (from the looks of other comments) others might find misleading.And to others looking into Duncan Suzuki: Buyer Beware.

I have worked with many car dealerships in my driving life and I would put Duncan at the top of my list. Every person in the dealership has gone above and beyond the call of duty. My husband and I saw a post on Facebook one of their salesmen ( David )had posted. We sent him a pm and he invited us down to the lot. We told the salesman of our credit history, our history of other dealers we went to and how dishonestly they treated us, we told him we had NO down payment, etc. He stated to us several times I am not like the past people you dealt with, would treat us honestly and would definitely have us in a car for sure the next time we left the lot. He had us come back a week or two later promising us those same things again. We ended up once again with the salesman lying to us and treating us NO DIFFERENTLY than all of those salesmen before him. We will NEVER go back to Duncans again nor would we ever consider referring anyone ( including our worse enemy ) there.

We drove an hour from Roanoke look at a car. Called before hand so they knew we were coming. We get there and right away the car wont even start. It took 5 different people and 30 minutes to figure out how to get it started. Once it was started the guy started driving the car with the hood still up and ran over one of the engine covers and destroyed it completely. They said they would have to order a new one along with a new key faub that was dead to begin with. People were very nice but obviously unorganized. We stood in the lobby for 20 minutes while they made a couple calls and we decided to leave. Probably one of the most bizarre car sales Ive ever been a part of. 3 stars is for how nice everyone was and for their effort in trying to keep a sale knowing it was lost from the very moment the car wouldnt start.

My husband and I stopped by to look and felt as if we couldnt even get out of the car to look at a vehicle we were interested in because of a dealer stalking us as we road through the parking lot. As I started to open my car door to get out he come flying down the steps towards us, I just want to look at a vehicle with out being attacked. Needless to say we left without looking at the vehicle. Its a shame you have to be afraid to even get out and look at a car for the fear of being hounded to death.

My daughter and I were looking for a good, reliable, clean used car, and we found a used Forenza wagon at Duncan Suzuki. We did wind up buying the car, in large part because of the excellent customer service provided by Kyle Irvin and good value. Weve just finished a 2000-mile road trip and the car was great.Kyle is a piece of work - we enjoyed getting to know him and my confidence in the dealership was enhanced by their ability to have Kyle on-staff. He was attentive, knowledgeable, helpful, confident, polite, and he actually drove with my daughter, in the car, from Pulaski to Roanoke and back to help her make sure the car checked out OK. He was interesting to talk to, careful to give us plenty of space but also dug into the background of the car and helped us negotiate a good price.The fact that Duncan was a Suzuki dealer made a big difference, because it increased my confidence that they would be competent to make sure the car was in good shape.Time it took to go from an agreed-price to a signed contract and set of keys took longer than I wanted it to, but in general, we know we have a good car and it was a very good experience.

I bought my car from Duncan about 1 1/2 months ago now. My experience, though we did have some hiccups, was excellent.I got in contact with Emma, the Internet Sales Manager, and explained my situation and that I had higher milage car and was rather upside in it. With no hesistation, she immediately decided she wanted to help me out as best she could. I had a few cars picked out already that were within my price range, but there was a car on lot that they had just gotten that day and hadn’t published it online yet. I walked by it because I wasn’t aware it was for sale. She showed me the cars I was interested in and she got an appraisal for my car. We talked for a few minutes and then I left. Not long after, she rememembered the car that they had gotten just that day. She asked me if I wanted to see pictures of it because the manager was going to use it as his demo and it wouldn’t be available the next day. Of course, I did. After seeing pictures, I wanted to see it in person. I only live minutes away so I told her I would be by tomorrow morning. Here is where the hiccup came in. Because the manager was using the car as a demo, it was off of the lot before I got to it. If I’m not mistaken, he told Emma that the car would be there that morning - but I could be wrong. Emma wasn’t there when I got there due to a family emergency, which I totally understood and I felt awful for bothering her Friday evening by asking to see more of the car. Anway, I drove around the lot and noticed the car wasn’t there so I went in and got in touch with a salesman, Zack. Super nice guy, highly recommend him. He explained the situation and got in touch with the manager and informed me he wouldn’t be back until Tuesday. In the mean time, he agreed to talk number with me and discuss down payment, so on and so forth...I basically had full intentions on buying the car sight unseen. I felt like they were being honest about the condition of the car and that if I were to find any issues, they would take care of it for me. Tuesday rolls around, I’m at the lot before the manager even gets there. He comes up to me when he does arrive and apologizes for the inconvience and offered to come down on the price some more to make up for. That was fine with me because the price was already lower than I asked. Zack spent the entire day working with me. He even bought me lunch in the process of it all. It took about 7 hours, but he got me in the car that I am head over heels in love with. He and Emma were able to offer me more than I wanted for my trade and they were able to go lower than I asked on the car I bought. They worked with the banks to lower my already relatively low interest rate by another 2%, which totally thrilled me.Side Note: I had my car there today for an oil change and was, again, impressed with the staff and the service. Plus, they sent a $10 gift certificate to me in the mail. Can’t beat that!I could not recommend Duncan Suzuki more. They have an excellent staff of people with a full plate of souther hospitality to boot. I can’t thank Zack, Emma, and Ben, the manager, enough for all of their help.

Purchased a used vehicle from Duncan Suzuki this week. It was a very pleasant experience. Aaron, who helped us ( a sales consultant but I felt he listened and worked with us rather than sold us) was great to work with. Here was our experience. My wife and I are new to the area. Based on the road we live on we felt an all-wheel drive (or 4-wheel) would be helpful for the occasional snowfall. We had looked around a bit and based on their internet inventory Duncan had three vehicles that met our criteria.ShoppingWe arrived at Duncan and Aaron came out to greet us. We explained the vehicles we wanted to see and emphasized that we would not be purchasing that day. We only buy vehicles every 10 years or so and were certainly not in a hurry. He pointed to one of the vehicles we mentioned. He said there were some issues with the vehicle and made us aware of them before even looking at the vehicle really. This was a good call on Aarons part as we immediately eliminated. As all the vehicles were in the same price range, there was no incentive for Aaron to steer us away from that particular vehicle.As it turned out, one of the other vehicles had been sold, leaving us only one vehicle left to look at. Aaron brought the vehicle up, detailed the features, pointed out the flaws (another plus for Aaron, acknowledging that there are flaws), sat in the vehicle. Neither one of us were impressed with the vehicle, especially at the price. Aaron, having realized what we were looking for, suggested a vehicle. This particular vehicle I had seen in inventory but hadnt considered, being more enamored with the other vehicles. Again, Aaron took the time to explain the features, showed a couple of minor flaws. He also did a good job of answering questions. I was surprised Aaron knew as much about the vehicle as he did. It is hard when you have a large inventory that changes often.My wife and I opted to take the vehicle for a test drive. Aaron suggested a good route that took us on town roads, country highway, interstate, and going over a mountain. After completion we told Aaron we would considerate and get back to him in a couple of days. Aaron thanked us, let us know his general working times, gave us a card, and escorted us to our vehicle. No pressure. No good only today deals. Probably the most pleasant vehicle dealership experience Ive ever had. I test drove another vehicle that had a great price, was what we were looking for, with another dealer. However, the vehicle we drove at Duncan was nicer. We arranged to meet Aaron for another test drive and ultimately decided to purchase the vehicle.NegotiationWe told Aaron where we were, that we liked the vehicle, wanted to purchase. He immediately intuited that we were not the type to fall in love with a vehicle and play around with negotiations. He proposed going back, getting their best deal with taxes, tags, processing fee, etc. and we could accept it or decide to continue looking. He was gone for five minutes and came back with a deal that we were very pleased with. In fact, it was slightly lower than what I would have asked for. Additionally, it was a fairly quick negotiation instead of being dragged out.Settling of SaleWe paid our vehicle in full, no trade, which made the closing very easy. We had to wait a few minutes because there was another transaction in front of us. Jarred assisted us in completing the transaction. Smart on their part, they offered a warranty purchase but didnt really recommend it (it would cost about 30% the purchase of the car) in this situation. We agreed (we rarely buy these things) and readily signed the declination forms for the warranty. Jarred was very pleasant, organized, and easy to work with. The whole settlement process was was as quick and easy as I ever seen. I did follow up with a question a few days later and I received a prompt response from Jared. Grateful for all his assistance.Highly recommended.

DO NOT BUY FOR THEM!!! THEY DID ME RIGHT ON MY FIRST CAR... SO I BOUGHT FROM THEM AGAIN... LONG STORY SHORT.. IT HAD A BAD TIRE WHEN I GOT IT HOME.. CALLED THEM AND TOOK IT BACK TO THEM. THEY SENT IN A CLAIM AND IT CAME BACK THAT IT WOULD NO BE REPLACED.. THEY SAID I DID IT. . NO I DID NOT !!! O WELL... LOOKS LIKE ILL HAVE TO BUY A NEW ONE..
