I have been looking for a specific children’s book to send to my nephew and wanted to support an independent bookstore while doing so. In my search I found that Copperfish Books had carried it and, because I don’t live in the immediate area, placed an online order that was very quickly delivered to their doorstop. I am so incredibly grateful that Cathy had so kindly reached out before mailing to ask if I wanted it gift wrapped and include a note as it made the surprise gift even sweeter! He just loves getting mail and was over the moon to not only receive a special new book but get a wonderful hand-drawn card too. Thank you for helping me spoil my nephew from hundreds of miles away!

The staff is so sweet, the space is adorable. There was an out of stater there with her elderly mom who lives here locally. The staff was attentive to the lady recommending cool things they offer. Meetups with authors some are online. Very engaging, never felt rushed i love that. Support your small businesses its these type of encounters and experiences you ONLY get in your neighborhood shops.

Both employees were extremely courteous and very helpful. Both had good knowledge to help me find what I was looking for. Very pleased with my visit and highly recommend.

With selections both old and new spanning a plethora of genres, youre bound to find something that tickles your fancy. There are also a variety of beautiful gifts available for purchase. Its always good to support a local bookstore when you can. I called the story ahead of time to ask if they had what I was looking for, and they were happy to hold it for me. The shop is filled with wonderful books (new and used) and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We ended up having a lovely little chat about local Floridian authors.Definitely pop by and shop this store some love, because its a wonderful little place and Im glad I visited them myself.

Very nice little bookstore featuring many, if not all, Florida authors. There are books, fiction and non fiction, about Florida people, places and times. But there are plenty of contemporary authors as well. The quirkiness of the place invites the browser to enjoy.

This is a small, quant, homey book store. They also carry puzzles, cards, and unique gifts. The staff was very helpful. Its the perfect place to browse, and listen to classical music. Delightful!

I loved that there is clear representation for LGBT people, social justice, and so many kinds of fiction and non fiction books! This store is amazing. The customer service is very friendly and helpful.

While not very large, copperfish had something for everyone. R event best sellers and those a bit older are on tables throughout the store. Around the perimeter are fiction, nonfiction and rare books. There are also bargain books and book-related paraphernalia.Prices are low to moderate, making a quick stop to browse or pick up a last minute book a positive thing. The woman at the counter was most helpful. I was looking for a local paddling book and they actually had two different ones.Get a book for those few rainy or cold days, you will not be disappointed.

The most exquisitely quaint Bookshop Ive ever had the pleasure of walking into. The moment you step inside you are greeted with the warmth of a wonderful librarian and it was if I had stepped in the home of one of my own relatives. The service that you receive is personable and knowledgeable and tailored to your needs and interest. Two thumbs up a rare business that is a must-see!

I have been patronizing this bookstore since it moved to its new location in downtown Punta Gorda. I continue to purchase from this bookseller because its staff is extremely helpful in obtaining old and rare books that I wish to order. It is a pleasure doing business with knowledgeable and courteous people in a peaceful, comfortable setting that reminds me of ones living room.

Its refreshing that full service book stores still exist. We came to exchange a book and walked out with 3 more. Great resource. Found a Sci Do book Club too. Awsome.

Wonderful bookstore in downtown Punta Gorda. Great selection of books including a number of books focusing on the local area. Great support of local authors with a number of book signings per month. We met a local author who was there to read to young children. A happy place with lots of positive energy! We will be frequent visitors!

We love copperfish books. Kathy is always very helpful and sweet. Prices are reasonable and the selection of products is great. She also hosts a number of events throughout the year which are fun and entertaining. Well be back!

Best used bookstore Ive seen in awhile - wonderful selection of literature in a cozy, nostalgic environment. Plus, the relaxing instrumental holiday music added to the inviting atmosphere. We will definitely visit the next time were in town!

Cant believe it has taken me SO LONG to find this gem! Wonderful selection of books, very nice and helpful staff. My only complaint is they had one of my favorite authors, Randy Wayne White while I was away!
