I had the best experience with Shannon last week. I had come in to return an online purchase for my husband that he didnt like and I figured it was time to get my wedding set cleaned and inspected while I was there. Shannon quickly returned my purchase and she discovered a diamond in my ring had chipped. She made sure to show me under the scope and ensure that it would be taken care of. Shannon was so genuinely friendly and caring. I felt secure in leaving my rings with her. We will definitely continue to come to this location as long as Shannon is here.

My boyfriend had a Moissanite and platinum engagement ring designed for me. I wore it into the Kay jewelry store today to compare it to a diamond ring. I thought it looked gorgeous -even compared to a real diamond. The woman showing me the rings directly said to me “Well it’s nice and if you ever find yourself broke you can sell it for food” such lovely customer service.

This rating is well deserved. I bought my wifes ring three years ago. So to me thus is not long when they sell a lifetime warranty. Sell and if you miss a checking and something happens you pay cool get that. Let me star by saying we have lost 6 Diamomd total in different times 1 here and there had rindlg replaced with new after the first 3 different times. And let me say 1999 is not a cheap ring and wrap another 2000. And we received a new then another three different occasions. And this last time Im wife found out they miss sized here. From a 7.5 to her thru 10. Cause the wrap and that. She had to get cut off cause it got stuck imagine that. When we bought the ring we were told they all would be covered with warranty. Not true had to buy a separate warrent . Then just a month after it came back from being fixed and inspection from there jewler guess what the ring lost another wow. I asked the district manager to call me from the assistant that has now left the company. But wow. The sales man today said they will call us Monday. Wow thats how you treat people. Total with wrap I have upgrade and that lost 4000 I behind belief . I will be waiting for a call thanks.

Terrible place! I got a ring sized. When I pick it up they say it’s $160 I’m like what? They have $50 for sizing, $50 for stone setting, $50 for cleaning! I’m like I just wanted it sized! They say oh that is just sizing! Very upset! Then I wear the ring for one day and the black is coming off the ring where it got sized! If I where you find another jeweler! So I spend $160 to size a $200 ring!!

Best customer service. If your a loyal repeated customer they will make sure you get what you need. Please avoid tacoma mall Kays. Go to the Puyallup mall store. Its twice as far for me to drive to Puyallup but how Im treated and the service makes this the best jewelry store in Washington. South hill mall Kays rocks. Thank yall for your help in upgrading my bracelet.

Not only had the management went out of their way to get the identical Replica of my original wedding set (that was from and completely separate company) that got it in the correct size and had much prettier setting of the gems than the first one I purchase (at separate company no association with Kay). They had it to me in just a couple weeks!My husband is so happy that we dont have a Garbage disposal in our new home (my old ring went into one while washing my hand)Because of how Kay and the management was towards me as a customer trying to hide this from my husband (yes he learnt what about too LOL) im totally going to be getting a second wedding set so I have two nowAnd yes the husband is going to get a second ring too! Thank you Kay for assisting me with this and replacing my ring!! You got our business!!

I was very disappointed with the service. I took my ring to get resized. After Weeks of waiting, they finally called me that my ring is ready. I went to pick it up just to find out that the ring was broken. The lady while preparing the paper works didn’t know until I told her that this is supposed to be a ring and why is it broken. That’s when she called somebody else (I’m assuming the manager) said that They can’t resize the ring. I end up returning it.

After having a series of bad experiences at a different Kay Jewelers, my wife and I decided to try this store out to have her engagement ring and wedding band soldered (both rose gold). When we went to pick them up, the jeweler had actually soldered them together with yellow gold. I assume there is a quality assurance process somewhere along the way, but no one had caught the fact that there was a stark contrast in colors.The manager sent it back out, putting a rush on the correction to get the rings back in time for a trip we were going on, and when it came back, it looked only slightly less yellow on the bands, and it looked no less yellow in the joint. To be fair, the lighting in the store is terrible, and you can really only see it if you are looking for it. But in literally every other place we have been, it is very apparent that the joint is yellow gold and the section of the bands down where the crease of the finger is does not match the rest of the bands It was almost like all they did was try to clean off as much of the yellow gold from the face of the bands as they could.After seeing this in the mall lightning, we turned right back around to let them know. We were told that it is, in fact, rose gold, but since Neil Lane uses a redder rose gold than most, it isnt going to be a perfect match with the solder gold. We tried to explain that if you look at it in the lighting right outside the store, you can see that it is yellow, but she just showed us a closer view under the microscope in the store where the light glares off the joint making it impossible to see what color the joint is and assuring us that it was rose gold.I did some Googling and found jeweler forums where they talk about the different rose gold solders and how some of the less-pure (9ct), harder ones look yellow (in fact some of the responders just stopped using it and started using yellow gold), while some of the more-pure (18ct) ones that require more heat look rose-colored.If we were supposed to expect a non-matching color to overlay the face of the bands (and be more pronounced in the joint), we probably should have been warned ahead of time... then we could make the decision. Instead, we now have 2 rings totaling around $7,000 that are essentially ruined. I understand that the main diamond carries the bulk of that value and that it was unharmed... but the rings were beautiful as they were, and now theyre discolored.

Went in looking for a wedding band I had seen online. Unfortunately the store did not carry it. But the lady working, Maria, asked about the price of the ring I had been intending on purchasing. She found a similarly priced band and said they could customize this and add some blue diamonds that way it would match the engagement ring.I ended up purchasing a fancier style ring and had them swap out a few of the diamonds for blue diamonds. Maria and her manager were absolutely wonderful to work with.Very professional and knowledgeable. The manager did what she could to get me a great discount and gift certificates.They never tried to upsell me which I greatly appreciated. The fact that they went out of their way to find a solution and within my budget to get me exactly what I wanted was so refreshing.Would definitely recommend working with Maria and her manager.

My 1st time coming in was when I got my engagement ring resized, the 1st lady was terrible and very rude and made me feel pretty much like I was wasting her time and it was just such a terrible experience. The 2nd time I would have the assistant manager really helped me and made me feel 10 times better, she was so amazing! That being said the 3rd time I went in to pick up my fiances ring, it was a very very long way because there were only 2 people work but Shannon was very apologetic and she was very sweet in was able to assit me when she could. I am a nurse I understand people are very short and what its like to not work with the correct amount of staff, thank you for everything!

Recently went to Kay to pick up my wedding set that had to get resized and repaired. The turn around time was fast less, than a week. My ring turned out great, also since I was there I decided to get birthday gift for my husband. The team was helpful to not only getting me the most fabulous movado watch, but to also offering me additional discounts thats I was not even aware of which brought the price down. Great people work there and I have only had the nicest experience every time. The manager is awesome and her and her team do an exceptional job to make jewelry shopping an eventful experience. One of the, girl that was helping me. didnt know what she was doing in the computer . She need to be train again . I had my reciept and she look at it . I bought an item at auburn hoping to get exchange to the one i wanted . But the girl that was helping me seem to not know how to put in stuff in the computer in the end of conversation she said That what the computer is giving me She didnt put my trade in and my 20 percent down payment . What a waste of time i should of just went and drive to auburn .. i had high hope for this location because of the review . But never again .. coming back . Shanin is Amazing!!! After dealing with unbelievably horrible customer service from Fred Meyer Jewelers, I went to Kay and met Shanin! She helped me find a wedding set in my price range that makes me feel like a princess. I ugly cried and above all she understood every one of my needs, was absolutely helpful in all areas of this experience and I am overjoyed by the turnout! Shanin youre a rockstar lady!! Went shopping here for wedding rings 2 years ago and it was a complete disaster. First, they’ve had my name spelled wrong the entire time of having an account. I’ve been promised at least 4 different times that they would fix it and even after my latest trip this month it still has not been fixed. Next, my ring was too big and didn’t have my size in store so they said they would order the right size, ordered the same ring size they gave me in store twice and got it right on the 3rd time so that only took 2 months. My wife’s ring needed to be resized and we were living in eastern Washington and assured us that we could pick it up at the North town mall in Spokane instead of driving back here. They sent it to the wrong mall and it took that Kay jewelers 2 hours to figure out it was at a different mall 45 minutes away. This is a terrible place to shop and terrible follow through on the customer service. I recommend shopping else where and avoiding this store.

My boyfriend and I went to look for engagement for myself and at first it was okay but they did not take what I was looking into consideration. I had saw one ring and although it was nice, it wasnt what I was looking for. However, they didnt care, they only cared about making a sale. My boyfriend and I felt stressed and rush which is something we didnt want to experience, at all. Thankfully we did not settle for the ring, I do not recommend this establishment to anyone especially couples.Recent update: To those looking to purchase any jewelry please avoid this establishment. My boyfriend and I went in to look for an engagement ring for myself and were assisted by two of their employees who were quite rude and uneccesarily pushy. The gave us the option of a leasing program which we had put in our information. However, my boyfriend and I didnt like how we were treated because it was that making a sale was the only thing that was important, not whether or not I like the engagement ring we were looking at. A week after this I see an inquiry on my credit report and a credit card came in the mail for myself and my boyfriend. A credit card that we did not consent to, nor did we sign any paperwork for it. We were not told that our information waa being used to open a credit account.Please be wary of this establishment and be careful, always ask questions. What they did was wrong and I hope this does not happen to others.

We normally love Kay Jewlers, however, after this last visit to this store and dealing with the horrible service I will never step foot in this store again. My husband and I stopped in the Store with the intention of upgrading my diamond. Maria Rosas was the person who helped us and seemed eager to make a sale, but I didn’t get a good vibe since walking in and was hesitant but kept looking. While we were looking they offered to clean our current rings and we let to . It wasn’t long before they came back and said the diamonds were “loose” and they could repair it for $150.00 but they would have to send it out and it would take 7 business days. Well we decided to do it and 16 days passed before we had to call to find out the status of my wedding band. They then informed me that the jeweler was not able to repair it. Yet no one bothered to call me. The manager then promises that there was a mistake and that they will be able to repair it and that it would be ready for this Friday. Well Friday came and nothing. Not a phone call, nothing. The manager named Shanin (basically Shannon) didn’t apologize and was rude and unprofessional. I will be writing to corporate but I wanted you to know to stay away from this place. They are liars and try to take advantage of people.

Dont waste your time here. A friend and I were walking thru the mall and we both noticed a couple of really cute pieces of jewelry. We stopped walked over and were looking at them. There were no other customers. There were 3 employees sitting on their butts gossiping. They looked straight at us and continued gossiping. They didnt even stop to say hello we will be right with you. We stood there for a good five minutes waiting to be helped and it was a complete waste of our time.
