Staff was knowledgeable and engaging, without being over bearingly so.
As always a welcome place to come and get my GW minis and paint. Reynor has been a pleasure to work with on getting me the correct items and minis for myself and now my son to get into the hobby.
Place is a terrible store they closed down for a while and did not put it on there page why or when they would open again would not recommend anybody go there. I would go to the one on 72nd off the freeway instead stay away from the one in Puyallup.
As far as my experience has served all of the staff here have always been very helpful to their best extent and very knowledgeable.
Owner was quick to help with questions on paint, even has a little station set up that he brought me over to and explained some of the techniques for painting minis. Told me they run paint nights/clinics to help improve and was over the top helpful and friendly. It is pretty much a 40k store but the supplies are there either way. Oh, clear labels for paint pricing by size and type was nice since Ive been shocked at the register before.
Great customer service. Advise to help you get started if your new and knowledge for the continued investment of the games.
Probably the best games workshop Ive been to. Derrick is amazing and makes you feel very welcomed, but also keeps it fun.Im still newish to the game but feel like I can give input without being scolded or looked down on.Plus the community here is perfect for jobs and veterans.
Usual selection, few tables to play on, and friendly staff.
Helpful customer service and had the models I couldnt find other places!
Friendly, experienced staff in a professional atmosphere.
Great customer service, helped me find what I didnt know I wanted
Best GW experience yet, despite not being allowed to browse pretty plastic cuza the rona.
The environment was so calm and everybody was happy, And the people working there were very informative and helpful.
They are cool people. Really helpful in trying to get new people involved. Kind of a spendy hobby to get into, but all hobbies are now a days
Went to get a special character on sale. There were 2 left i was 2nd in the door. The gentlemen in front paid $20. When i was next and asked for the special character i was told i have to spend $100 to get him included which was complete bs since the guy in front of me just paid $20. They said they can change it whenever. I will never return to this store and have told my group to never shop there go to the one in Tacoma. They have better customer service and care about their players.
Great manager and gaming community makes this store an excellent place to shop and play. Highly recommended!
Great Staff Says It All. Definitely an active Warhammer 40k store. Open tables for your matchups. Painting area for your hobby. Long time players and knowledgeable staff with deep lore wisdom. Check it out if you are even slightly curious about tabletop wargaming.
Standard Games Workshop. I dont play Warhammer, but I do use their paint for D&D and Pathfinder. The store does not have much of a selection however. They have all the singles, but only two sets of paints. I was a bit disappointed that unless I wanted to limit my color selection, I would have to buy a whole bunch of their singles at the much higher price. I instead went to the card and collectibles shop over on Canyon Road and got a great set for about 2/3 the price it would have been here.
Cool games workshop. Good playing areas.
Friendly staff and customers. Dwaynes a really nice guy: always ready to answer questions about the world of 40K.
Very helpful and friendly. Great place to shop and play.
From the first time I walked in, to any day and every day, I always feel welcome here. You wont find a more welcoming and friendly environment in any other Games Workshop (as far as I have experienced being a semi truck driver going everywhere). I have made friends here, I have learned much about the hobbie here. My experience here has changed my life quite a bit. You will find a good time here, wether or not you are already knowledgeable of what Games Workshop is and/or what your getting into.
Helpful staff. Never played before and staff explained the basics of the game.
New owner since the last time I visited, good experience, great attitudes, will be back for more minis!
I have been here on and off. Every time I stop by to check things out, I am never displeased. The manager Jay, is very down to earth, very helpful, always up to date and knowledgeable about whats new about the hobby and gaming. I plan on hanging out here more often when I can. If you are a Warhammer fantasy, or Warhammer 40k fan and player, or even just remotely curious about it, this is a cool place to be. People here a laid back and easy going. Stop in and see for yourself.
Guy was cool and professional. Helped me pick out starter set for a friend as a gift. 5/5. I would go again.
Great community! Everyone here is nice and willing to share information to help you get started with warhammer!
First time in today and loved it will return without question. The manager is very informative and knowledgeable of the products.
Customer service oriented and a great feeling in the store.
Great place, great atmosphere, staff will to teach at any time.
New to 40k and the store was very helpful.
Great people and staff here are enjoyable and easy going
My experience with this Games Workshop location was limited: I had just discovered that they had a store about 15 miles from my house, so I went in to post a Looking For Gamer flyer on their bulletin board hoping to find a few new players for our regular Friday night game. My interaction with them was not pleasant, as you will discover, and I wasnt in the store long enough to make a value judgement regarding the selection and quality of the stock. The Good: The shop was visually appealing if somewhat small, and the staff started out friendly enough as they asked how they could help us.The Bad: As the staff was gaming with a group and no one else was in the store, that meant that the whole group stopped playing to stare at us as we entered. Not an unknown experience, but always a little off-putting.The Ugly: The clerk read my posting (pretty simple 2 paragraph LFG flyer) and said that we couldnt post it because it doesnt mention Games Workshop games, and since they pay the bills we have to follow their policy. I mentioned that we did play Warhammer FRPG, but it wasnt good enough to get past this policy. As I had called ahead to get approval to place a flyer (without being told that it was only allowed for GW games) then ended up driving 30 minutes to be told thank you, but go away, I left without even looking around the store even though there were several items that looked interesting.I dont know if the clerk was just being a jerk, or if GW actually has that policy in their store, but regardless it is a short-sighted policy. Anyone who games knows that gamers switch RPG campaigns at the drop of a hat; the next time my group switches, you can bet that it wont be to a Games Workshop product. Its also a safe bet that I wont be doing any shopping at this store or any Games Workshop stores in the future...there are other gaming stores I can go to that are a little farther away, but where I am a valuable customer regardless of what specific game I happen to be playing at the moment.I wont be burning my GW games and supplies in protest, but you can be certain that they are going to gather a bit of dust while I play (and purchase) products from other companies for the foreseeable future!
Very helpful staff.
Very helpful
Great place
