First time visiting this particular location and basically store chain itself. The staff on for the night of October Eighth did everything to perfection.Including with two of them on, one coming out from the counter area for customer engagement/theft deterrent. I worked retail for over a decade, a manager near the end.They performed perfectly as corporate generally decrees.They also inquired if I needed any assistance, which at the start I didnt and informed them. They didnt push the issue and simply were available as to if I did need future assistance. Commendable indeed.After some browsing and picking up some items, I did inquire for some assistance.They both were able to assist I quite easily and had a very good knowledge of product location.Sadly I didnt get their names, however the register customer banter was also quite on point.When I was being rung up, I was inquired as to my number for their card which they have. I chose not to, however, as per the entire visit, the employees performed spectacularly pertaining to assorted general corporate mandates and such.Overall it was a pleasant experience with attentive employees where I got what I needed and was out the door with my purchase not long after. Jolly good show to the employees of the night. Even more so as it was within the last hour of the night, and they were still upbeat, vigilant and all around good employees.I enjoyed my visit here, and shall continue to frequent this location as needed. Good hiring on Sallys corporate part eh.

The Sallys beauty in Quincy, Ma is one of the over priced stores Ive been to. The lady in the store is very nice but in comparison to other sallys or other hair store that sell black hair products this is so expensive. I went in to get Mane Choice products and to see that they are 17 dollars for shampoo and 17 dollars for conditioner is ridiculous. I walked in the store and then out. The employee apologized but its not her fault. I explained to her that i usually go to different store to get the products cheaper. Even walgreens has it for 13 dollars, the only bad thing is they either are missing the shampoo or the conditioner they seem to never have both in stock smh... Quincy needs to get it together.

I was unable to enter the store because one person was at the register and another person was in the store. I go to this store all the time to buy product for my hair. I am a rewards member. I went to the area where the product is and was told I had to go back and follow the arrows as I was not allowed to go down the aisle. There was no one in the aisles. Absolutely ridiculous! I will purchase the product on Amazon from now on. Have a little common sense!!

First time in sally beauty. The sevice was absolutely fabulous . The lady who helped me with my hair dye and other products is probably one of the most knowledgeable and professional people Ive met in that type of service industries. Also the girl behind the counter was really polite . 100%

If I could give zero stars I would. It is very negative here and I have seen the manager(I think) yell at customers and employees like they are god. It’s so bad in there. I would rather take an extra ten minutes out of my day to go to the other store up the street. Mean.

On 10/23 I went to the Quincy Ave store in Quincy, MA at 7:54pm and the store doors were already locked. I asked the manager, that has been working there for many years that it wasn’t 8 o’ clock and she said “yes it is in” a very rude way. I only needed to get two things that weren’t going to take even 2 mins to grab. I’ve been a banker for 23 years and I also have to provide to great customer service to all my customers.I have a six month old baby at home and I rushed to store. I have not experienced such poor customer service! The manager’s excuse was I’ve been here since 8 this morning and I had enough. I’m going home. I wake up at 5 every morning and if I’m lucky, I get 4 hours of sleep a night.You need to find a manager that could represent your store and business better. This is completely unacceptable!!!

As soon I got in a my son asked me for a candy I was ready to just give him a small candy and she was quick to tell me I couldnt give it to him in the store!!!!! I walked right out I would never give my money to a place with a poor costumer service thats why this kind a small business disappear!

I have been to many Sally Beauty Thousand Oaks,CA to Portsmouth,NH and many Massachusetts stores .This Sally Beauty is by far my favorite Sally Beauty .And believe me the manager is the best and the staff is always helpful Love this place 👍👍👍

Unbelievably rude hostile and insulting employees! Worst shopping experience ever. Will definitely not go there again.I did a quick shopping of a hair band with leave-shaped metal. TWO HOURS LATER after i finished my grocery shopping, i tried it on in my car and find out: the hook of one side slipped out immediately as soon as i put it on and the metal hurts my head.So I walked to the store and ask to return nicely. The cashier said coldly all the sales are final and can not be returned, without even asking why. I insisted it can be returned coz it is a brand-new defaulted product, telling her it is broken. She said something was missing after unwillingly checking the product. I said no, nothing was missing. She went to check if she can find me a new one and came back with nothing. She still said it can not be returned. She turned over the receipt to show me all the sales are final. the funny thing is it is right ON THE RECEIPT THE PRODUCT CAN BE RETURNED.Then, another woman interrupted, whose name later i heard was Stephanie. She accused me of breaking the product, with her eyes wildly open and staring at me (tried to scare me away, i guess). The truth is, nothing was missing, and it was just the hook slipping out of the tiny hole of the metal leave. I still tried to explain and showed her the both side of the metal, to let her understand. It was so SIMPLE and OBVIOUS. She still kept accusing me of breaking it. Ironically, the OTHER HOOK SLIPPING OUT IN HER HAND while she was taking it out of the bag. I said “no, i did not break the product. You just did.” She walked away while still accusing me.I was in still the shock while the cashier refunding. Could not believe what they just did. I really wanted to tell that Stephanie how rude and stupid she was. I walked towards where Stephanie was. The cashier said “GET OUT, YOU CAN NOT STAY IN THIS STORE!” Another shock of course. I was never treated like this in my whole life. I said no, I need to tell her how rude she is. Then the two women teamed up to against me and even said “TO CALL THE POLICE”. Oh my God, please do call the police, so they can put some nutcase like you two in jail.What kind of hatred they have in their hearts to treat a client like that! What miserable life they have to act like that. If you do not like your job, quit! Coz clients would never want to in a store with people like you two working there!I shopped in other Sally store before and it was definitely nice experience. This store, a disaster, because of the two awful employees. I am going to let the Sally company know.

If you are looking to shop at Sallys Beauty Supply I suggest you stay away from the Quincy Ave location. Today while I was shopping with my mother, while waiting for a pizza at Dominos, I was accused of shoplifting by an employee there. This employee singled me out and told me I stole things that I had actually purchased along with the other $80 worth of waxing products. A police officer approached me and my mother after we completed our purchases and asked to speak with us outside. 2 male officers along with the employee that had accused me made me dump out my entire purse outside. The employee continued to give me attitude about the products I had supposedly stolen. I went from angry to absolutely humiliated. Not only have I never shop lifted in my entire life, I work in retail and know the procedures for these occurrences. This employee took it out of hand and was extremely rude. I went back into the store and returned everything I had BOUGHT and I will never be returning again. I hope no one else ever has to experience what I had to go through today at this location. It is also my hope that this employee is reprimand for his actions. Again Ill say, stay away from this Sallys location. This could happen to you too.

There is ONLY 1 staff person there that is polite, pleasant, doesnt have an attitude. Shes extremely helpful and the rest should follow her lead. I dnt know her name but she has these peircings in her dimples. Im wondering why shes not a manger. the manger, however is... let me just say SHES ALWAYS HAVING A BAD DAY...the manger with the really short hair and gives all the hair advice:-/...
