A local gem that has been in the same family for generations and they know what theyre doing when it comes to snacks and ice cream. They have tons of different flavors in both soft and hard ice cream with lots of topping options. They also have ice cream sandwiches, rickeys, and food.Although the ice cream is phenomenal, its the customer service that makes this place such a delight to keep coming back to. They go above and beyond.

One of the best ice creams I have had to date. Creamy, rich, and delicious. Quick, friendly service. Ample parking. Wish the prices were listed but they were what youd expect for a cone ($4-$5+ depending on what you order). No outdoor seating but otherwise super!

Incredibly good ice cream, good flavor selection, and an amazing group of employees. The only issue I’ve had is that whenever you order ice cream past 5:00pm or on the weekends there is a trend of receiving less ice cream. I feel bad for complaining but it’s like if you order an large the same amount of ice cream can fit comfortably in a small cup. I understand it can be hard to work fast when there is a huge line wrapping around to the sidewalk, but now I’ll just be ordering a smaller size next time to save me a dollar or two. Despite the few issues I have had over the past year or two, this is still the best ice cream you can find in Quincy + the neighboring cities.

The most amazing kind hearted teenagers Ive ever meet.. my grand daughter bit her ice cream and lost her tooth was gonna start crying and one of the teenager boys started cheering and clapping congradulating her made her instantly smile and got her happy he was amazing.. just such good hearted kids thank you so much. Not to mention everything was good definitely go here every week after..

Moose tracks was delightful. great fudge in it. The kids filling the orders were awesome but the manager should have had two windows open. Long wait.

I came this afternoon and the worker was amazing she was so sweet and made everything go smoothly even when I didn’t know what to get I highly recommend this place!!

Got thier version of a blizzard with butterfingers steal. Very disappointing. But since everyone else liked what they got maybe they just didnt realize how old the butterfinger crumbs are.

I love dairy freeze. I live in marshfield, and am more than willing to drive 40 minutes to quincy just to get ice cream from dairy freeze. On my most recent excursion, I was greeted by two very friendly teenagers (I believe Natalie and Owen), who were very helpful in helping me choose a flavor as I am very indecisive. They recomended me try the flavor “purple cow” and it was absolutely incredible. They got me my ice cream in what seemed like record time. I have never seen more efficient service anywhere. I would gladly drive nearly an hour just for this superior customer service alone, not to mention they have the best ice cream I’ve had all summer!! Everyone needs to try dairy freeze! I simply cannot recommend this place enough !!

Warning: after dinner, and maybe other times, its a long line, maybe 20-25 minutes the three times I went in June 2020. But thats the fun of it, to me at least. Good for people watching! Even dogs in line at times!Kids and locals come over on their bikes, so it seems very local in general. Some seem to walk from nearby. And those who drivesometimes load their kids in the fresh air of the back of their wagon or pickup, their kids enjoying their ice creamCute!My frappe was just over $5 versus maybe $8 at those fancy ice cream shops and chains.Quality and texture seems good if I get just a dish of hard ice cream.

Ice cream was fresh. Asked them to mix Reeses in one ice cream and M&Ms in the other. Dont know if its their machine or the employee, but it didnt get mixed very well. Almost like they broke the candy by hand and dropped it in the cup.

The best soft serve around. Even better than my home made.Love to have a Banana Boat for supper. And bring home a large Roast Beef sandwich w/fries for a midnight snack.Been going there since I was a baby Moe (and I know thats not that long !) lol.

I sent my granddaughter to the window to buy two KIDDIE SIZE soft serve cones with Jimmys on top. My granddaughter was charged $8 and some change for two KIDDIE size soft serve ice creams!!! So I ask ....WHY does it cost almost 9 dollars for two kiddie size cones???? Eh...they had to charge for the cups and the jimmys. Wow...must be golden jimmys!! They need to put up a clear sign as to what they are charging for. Tell me youre going to charge for the Jimmys... the cups ... the napkins... the whatever... tell me!

So delicious. Their orange Vanilla twist is quite tasty, and their coffee raspberry is just a crazy good combo. The onion rings we got a few weeks back had light, fluffy batter and were addictive. Worth the stop

This place is awesome. How do you beat the long line always there? You call in your order. It wont work with icecream, but did for our dinner. We had seafood. Fishermans Platter and a fish plate. The seafood was great and onion rings delicious. Salad was what you would expect. Lettuce, onion, and tomato. We washed it down with a raspberry lime rickey.Look forward to multiple trips over the summer.

I love soft serve they have a vanilla orange soft serve that reminds you of the cream cycle you had as a child, getting out of the parking lots kind of dodgy. The parking lot was not made for SUV. LOL.

Perfect roadside stand in Quincy. With Richardsons Farm ice cream, you cant beat it, even on a cold and rainy March afternoon when we went. Summertime is great too!

This place is just a regular kind of ice cream stand. Thats not in a bad way either, thats a compliment. They are what they are and do it well. The products are quality the service is consistently great and the atmosphere brings me back to my childhood. Keep up the good work.

Great summer tradition. Always have plenty of help and the awning allows you to step out of the hot sun. Lots to choose from on the menu.

Great selection of flavors, always delicious. Line is always long but the service is super fast.

Love going here for a dessert after dinner. Be prepared though since lots of people come here especially at night. If possible try not to drive as it can be difficult to find parking. People often Park at the gas station next door, across the street at Montilios, out in front of the house of the residents next door.Personal go-tos are the soft serve and the razzle. Razzles are like the blizzards from Dairy Queen but the mix-in selection seems more comprehensive here.

Again, the average ice cream shop. Definitely not bad, I would still recommend it. It just doesnt stand out from the rest.

Worst experience so far in quincy.First: I paid for my food which was only $6.59 cents with a $20 bill. I was given back $3.41, I then stated I paid with a $20 and was accused of only paying with a $10. My change was giving back to me in a rude matter at the end of it all.Second: I received my food which was fried Dough and it was burning hot(Which I didnt not know until I grabbed the plastic bag). My point is she was so mad I asked for my correct change back. Not only did she not put both my fried dough in a plate, she wrapped it up and just placed it in a bag to get me out of there. I got home and all the sugar was all over the bag.My advice to anyone this is a good place to eat but make sure you Check your change and food before you leave. (I have pictures to back all this up but cant post them).
