My experience tonight. Went to pickup a dooordash order. A rude employee that rolled their her eyes at me. Employees ignored me for 15 minutes, working slowly, taking 15 minutes to box up 3 cookies. Then tells me they wont make a pizza wasting my time. Im assuming the manager, ignored me while standing in front of me counting tips while everyone else was working. Then an overweight one at checkout after all of that time said they dont do dooordash orders...Ive bought some things here before, Ill never come back for any reason. Rude, and a waste of my time. Pizza that did come out fresh, cheese pizza looked dry and the pepperoni was dry and burned. Wont be going back to that hen house.

Good pastries, some of the best in the area. Id have to go to Lacasia in Billerica to get better lobster tail, though, but they are still good.

Place has a family-run feel to it, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Food is tasty and well-made, and the cupcake is just the right amount of moist. Cant wait to try out their other pastries at a later time.

We got our cake and small desserts from Montilios and it was amazing. We were able to schedule a tasting and they took the time to show us all of the options and combinations. When it came to the design of the cake, the baker was able to capture everything exactly as we wanted. We didn’t have to hassle with the cake once we left the store as Montilios handled the delivery to our venue and kept in contact with our wedding planner. Would highly recommend to anyone getting a wedding cake.

HORRIBLE and completely rude counter staff cannot get even the most basic orders correct while others just stand at register on the phone. I live right around the corner and this place has completely gone downhill, used to be great.

I often frequent the Dunkin Donuts in Adams Plaza right down the street from this local bakery, but I was craving something a little fancier and more indulgent for breakfast en route to the airport last week.Montilios opened up right on time at 7 AM, as I was arriving, and the store was stocked to the brim with beautiful cakes, cookies, and pastries.  There was a small line of patrons waiting.  I should note - I visited this location on the Wednesday before the Thanksgiving holiday - which I would assume is a very busy day for the bakery.  I know they do lots of custom cakes and Im sure many people were picking up orders for the holiday weekend.Perhaps this is why I was so disappointed in the croissants I purchased - one chocolate, one almond.  I was expecting them to be freshly made, but alas, they either had been previously frozen, or perhaps made the day before.  Both croissants were fairly hard and crusty - not very flaky at all.  I ended up having to put them in the microwave to soften.  Super disappointing...However, the fruit pastry I purchased was absolutely divine.  The fruit was very fresh, and the custard sinfully sweet.  This was the fancy, indulgent baked good I was seeking.  In summary, I hope to visit Monolitios again soon, in order to give their croissants a second try.  But based off of this visit, Id avoid them all at costs and choose a custard or fruit pastry instead.

I’ve wanted to have a good experience with their products there on one too many occasions but alas it’s always stale more than a day old baked tastelessness. Don’t trust a bakery that doesn’t date stamp its bread.

Did you know this place made the wedding cake for President John F. Kennedy? Can it get any better? People who write bad reviews about businesses are whiny cry babies who never owned a business and have no idea what it takes to run one. This place is 7 Stars all the way.

Montiliios is a favorite bakery of mine here in Quincy MA. There pastries, pizzas and delli items are fresh and delicious😋 They offer a w8de variety of breakfast items.Its my go to place for special occasions and events. And whenI just some sweet.The prices

A great local Italian bakery, they also offer items like pizza and subs. There is occasionally a line but its worth the wait. My favorite is the Ricotta pie with just a hint of lemon zest.

The items that I purchased from Montillos were very well made and visually appealing however, the customer service lacked in common courtesy. Went in 20 minutes before close there was a line, I understand its busy and almsot time to close however, when it came to my turn I was ignored until a friend spoke up for me. I was trying to pay while they were counting the cash drawer. Once I paid and left,they locked up the doors immediatelywhile there was still 10 minutes before they close.

Feast for the eyes as well as the tummy! Delicious prepared pasta dishes and exceptional pizza. But the pastries are the stars and the pastry cases are beautiful. This place is a little piece of heaven.

Overpriced bakery with nothing special.I went to get a half a dozen cupcakes and it cost me $19 whats up with that?its funny because I went there before with my son and I swore I would never go again because we got 3 cupcakes and it was about $12.After talking with a friend I found out the owner was rude to her, Im not going back to this place.From now on Im going to go to fratellis which is much better quality and more reasonable priced

I love their sandwiches the bake goods are so so. However, today I bought a whoopie pie and it was dry and hard as a rock. Very disappointed 😞

This was one of the most outstanding bakeries I have ever been to! We ordered custom cookies and cupcakes, bread, muffins, tarts and scones. Everything was delicious and the service was outstanding. We will be back. Great for birthdays, events or a delicious treat!

Great place, wonderful staff the bigest chocolate chip cookie ive ever seen, & oatmeal and raisin cookies were delicious.

We got delivery via Grub Hub and due to an issue with their ordering site we got a slice of pizza instead of a whole pizza. I called the Quincy store to let them know and they made it right by immediately delivering a fresh, hot pizza even though it wasn’t really their error.They honestly couldn’t have been more apologetic from the girl I spoke with on the phone to the girl that delivered our pizza. I felt awful that we had no cash for a tip because it would have been well deserved!

Lots of delicious stuff to choose from. Kinda busy & crowded when we arrived. Went to Weymouth location instead.

Montilios Adams Street is the best. I thought I had some willpower to resist by saying I’ll just have a bite and save for later- nope no waiting for later in the tummy all done. What I like most is Montilios Adams Street supports the Troops. A+++++

Local place, great associates always willing to help you. The young lady who is the manager does and outstanding job!!!. Product speaks for itself!!!! Quality, presentation and variety are always consistent.

I spent about 4 years living within walking distance and its dangerous! Montilios is always full of amazing tasty baked goods; cookies, muffins, pastries and cakes. Easily one of my favorite local bakeries. And even pizza! Walking the 0.25 miles is always justification for a slice of pizza or a black and white cookie.

I ordered a custom cake for my Godson’s 7th birthday, and although the cake came out like the photo that I wanted it to look like, the flavor wasn’t too great. I usually order half chocolate/vanilla cakes and for some reason, this cake tasted like a chunk of gooey sugar. It could just be the design I wanted required that type of frosting.My Godson was happy so it didn’t matter to me, HOWEVER they did spell his name wrong after I spelled it for the lady who took my order. I was injured and had someone else pick up the cake so she blamed him for not saying something about it (when he didn’t even know, I just sent him to pick it up).Customer service needs some work because I had to reach out again after expressing my concern about the cake. I didn’t even bat an eye when they told me the cake was $125 but I could’ve paid $50 for something that tasted better and the name spelled correctly. Will not be ordering from here again.

Horrible waited 90 minutes after being told it would be 60 minutes...then the female who was making the order was rude and purposely took the order out of the oven put it on top of the oven and didnt say a word about being done...waiting another 10 minutes now making it 100 minutes for a calzone...I guess that old saying is true ITS REALLY HARD TO FIND GOOD HELP

It was ok. Employees were very young and randomly calling people up to order, although every one was trying to remain 6 feet apart. My order was wrong, and it was repeated back and forth between us. Also, I was handed my pizza, with my incorrect cold salad on top of the hot box with the dressing balanced on top as well.

Their apple pies during the Thanksgiving season are epic ! They have another location in Braintree as well. Its gets really busy during the holiday seasons so call ahead and order or go in and order rather than just showing up. Lots of sweets. So dont go in with. A sweet tooth

Beyond marvelous!! Variety beyond compare. Couture bread the size of baby dinos!! Beat abounds here. The taste PERFECT!! Nothing is ever Americanized sweet.

Not only do they have the best cookies cakes desserts that you can imagine in the world but now they have a basic sandwiches and pizzas and food that is to die for. theyre chef is one of the most amazing chefs I have ever met he loves what he does and he makes sure that everything he makes is perfect and its absolutely delicious and incredible

We used Montilio’s for our October wedding and couldn’t be happier with our decision! The tasting experience was amazing and quickly responded to any questions or changes I had throughout the process! The cake was stunning-exactly what I had asked for! Not only did it look great, but tasted delicious too! We had multiple guests ask for seconds! Montilio’s will always be the best!

I was thrilled and totally impressed with the turntable cake I ordered for my husbands 40th birthday recently. It was an old school hip hop theme, and I had a really specific request. So many vendors had either said they couldnt do it, or gave me quotes far beyond my budget, and I was ready to throw in the towel on this idea. The staff at Montilios quickly said they could do it within my budget. I was truly amazed when I saw this cake. It was awesome, and a huge hit at the party. Thank you so much for helping make this event so memorable for us.

My wedding cake came from Montillos and it was by far the best cake I have EVER had. They made it exactly to order and then some. The red roses on top of the cake matched the sash on my wedding dress!!!! It was perfect. My goal is to actually make it into the store someday!!!

Scrumptious treats...a feast for the senses! We loved cheesecake and the cupcakes but we LOVED the coconut cake. I dont think you can go wrong. Also some bangin slices and sangies. The classic Italian bakery that Quincy barely deserves.

Ive always loved Montilios bakery but had never realized the amazing selection of Italian food, pizza, sandwiches and coffee. The staff are always polite and helpful and Ive never had a bad experience or been disappointed with anything Ive ordered. The only thing that stopped me from rating as a 5 is lack of seating. The store itself is still designed as a traditional bakery with only 3 small tables. The expanded selection calls for an expanded seating / dining area.

We ordered cake pops for our daughters recent baby shower and were so pleased with the beautiful and delicious results! I would recommend them for their service as well as their delicious cake pops.

Been here at least a dozen times in 6 months. Consistently one of the best bakeries in Boston if you like sweet. I’d go there once a week.

Came in for breakfast and coffee. Coffees are good sized and delicious! Large iced coffee as around $4.50 or so but there was much less ice than a Starbucks and I think the quality is better so I think it is fairly priced. The breakfast sandwiches were made fresh to order and were exceptional! We also walked out with half a dozen cupcakes which look great. They seemed a little understaffed so service was slow, but we werent in a rush so we were happy to wait and look and all the other delicious looking foods behind the counters. All in all we spent $40 for the two sandwiches, two large drinks, and the cupcakes which was a little more than I expected, but based on the quality I think it is worth it. Im sure well be back!

Place sucks, ordered a custom cake and cant even spell the name correctly after 2 tries. Cake image is bubbly and distorted. Second time ordering a cake from them and very disappointed. Will not be returning here for anything. STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT A CUSTOM CAKE.

Seriously best cakes and cupcakes around! I know everyone seems to be in love with Kondemeister for some reason, but they pale in comparison to Montillios in my opinion. My husband, who thinks he is a judge on Cupcake Wars and has tried cupcakes all over the place, says they make the best PB cupcakes hes ever had. Whenever I bring a cake from here to a party everyone wants to know where I got it from. They have good pizza too and good service.

I like cupcakes so much its probably unhealthy. Im also kind of picky with cupcakes. I got a Grinch cupcake which was regular vanilla with vanilla frosting and it was very good. The cupcake was moist and the frosting was good, not too sweet. I would have given them five stars but I think $3 for a cupcake is a little high.

Ive driven by Montilios a thousand times and I dont know why Ive never stopped before today, but I sure was missing out. Friendly staff, amazing pizza, salads and pastries. Highly recommend the North End Pizza. Just WOW!

Breads are great. I usually stop for pizza slices which are some of the better ones for Quincy. There breakfast pizza is amazing along with their breakfast sandwiches. The only problem is the lack of consistency with their avaliable.
