Charles and team at Lighting & Lamps were helpful and easy to work with. I called looking for a specific chandelier that had to be custom made. Charles asked all the right questions to ensure we would receive the fixture we were looking to hang in our newly renovated home. Charles even found the exact light bulbs that the manufacturer displays the chandelier with, but doesnt sell them. I would call them again for all of our lighting needs.

If youre looking for lamp shades, this is THE store in the greater Boston area to go to. Dont waste your time elsewhere. I went to seven other stores before driving from Gloucester to find this gem and it was worth it. Their customer service is impeccable: they know their business, make great suggestions, are very efficient and pleasant to work with. Ill be back the next time Im in need of lighting or shades.

My go to lighting supplier. Charles and Joe are both very knowledgeable and helpful. They carry some high quality lines fir interior and exterior light fixtures. They have done some lamp repairs for me as well as wiring some plaster figurines as lamps for me. Their prices are very competitive with some of the best service around. They also offer an extensive selection of lamp shades and finials.

I tooled around on the internet and somehow knew this place would be the one to turn to. I had come into a lovely European chandelier with slightly wider than the standard US candle “sockets. I needed the tube like fittings to go around them.and they my were only to be found in Europe.The gentleman has been in business for 50 years, and stuck with me and we came up with some solutions. Made some calls - really the kind of courtesy and attention that comes from expertise knowledge and personal commitment to what you are doing and the people you are working with. I was sent home with candle sleeves to work with ( at no cost) and a clear long term solution if some experimentation didn’t work out.Our experiment worked!!! So I’m thrilled I’m not ordering $100 /shipping or more for what is a .50 item standard here,The lighting he carries in the store is good quality and variety. You WILL find what you are looking for, and for reasonable costs. Ranging from chandeliers to floor lamps ( which I think are the best thing ever right now) to interesting and good quality table lamps.Don’t even bother with the big stores - waste of time. Go here! I’ll be back.

I was looking for a ceiling fan for my daughters room, we had been to five different stores and she didnt see anything she liked. I decided to get off Rt. 93 and cut through Quincy. At a light, I looked to my left and saw the shop - at that point what was one more?It turned out to be the best decision! She was happy with a simple, modern white ceiling fan and the folks in the shop were so nice.I will definitely be back for lighting needs in the future! Thank you!
