Purchased preservation window 3 with Lifetime warranty. Window was never installed correctly to begin with, whistling sound from seal developed from an improper installed window. Water infiltration also developed from gap on bottom seal. So be wary of the so-called contract you sign that state Warranty is lifetime for seal failure, glass breakage and all parts. This contractor only guarantees workmanship and materials on their end for one year. $129.95 later, for a minor window adjustment (like it should have been done properly when installed), and some caulk on the gap in the seal, equals Lifetime Warranty. Lesson learned. Lost my business for good. Nuff said.

We have a home that was built in 1992 with wood on the outside and wood on the inside windows. They were in very bad shape to the point that we could not open them. I shopped around for over six months to help me understand what all of our options were. Prices were all over the place very confusing. We ultimately chose Hardy and Jensen. Reputation maters a great deal to us. From ordering to installation all of our expectations were met. They weren’t the least expensive but not the most expensive. I do believe that what we purchased was great quality. The installers completed the job in three days. The installers were very careful and respectful. Great people to work with. They know windows inside and out and helped me make the best choice for my needs keeping within my budget. Andy had all of the time I needed to become educated on features of the windows and helped me make the best choice for what will look good and best match the colors inside and outside my home. Installation was done quickly, correctly, and neatly. There was no mess for me to cleanup after. The crew felt more like friends than just window installers. They even took the time to make my dogs feel comfortable before they started their work. For me, there is no other company to work on my home.

We had them replace 7 old wood windows in our house in the summer of 2018. They did a great job, and had the best price for triple pane windows. The original quote was quick, and I didnt have to sit through a 2 hour presentation. Great local company in Racine.

Did a great job. There attention to detail is what really impressed me. There installation was very well done on our window. The window we had in our home was ameture job and you could tell. They corrected all problems installed the new window. And it looked great and is saving us money. No more leaking air around the window. Made sure job was done right they went back and double checked there work. And window was a huge improvement to that room. Very happy with them definitely would recommend. They will have more business from us.

My parents recently had a new front door installed and could not say enough good things about the installation team and the job they did. They were on time, professional, very cleanly, and so polite. The new door looks beautiful and Hardy & Jensen does an excellent job from start to finish!!!!

I called them for an estimate to replace a door for a rental property that I have. They told me that they only do work on homeowner houses. What difference does it make. It was for an insurance claim and would have paid well. Not to mention he made me feel as if my rental property was not good enough for their services. For the record it’s a very nice rental property that I once lived in myself. I will give my business to someone else who appreciates it.

We received estimates from three other companies that offer window replacements. While two out of three brought window samples with them during their visits to our home, we preferred visiting Hardy & Jensens showroom. We were able to see a replacement window and open it. Their actual office windows are what they sell. Hardy & Jensen is a local Racine-area business that we wanted to support. When it came to the installation date, the crew finished within the timeframe we were told. After the installation we noticed one screen had a tear and one window had a glass chip. The screen was replaced on the spot and a new window was ordered and replaced upon arrival. Needless to say, we are happy with our new windows.

We always go to Hardy & Jensen for all are home needs. They have replaced all our windows, installed exterior doors, a garage door, and last fall a new patio door. There expertise and professionalism is evident in the quality of there work, and always wanting to please. DONT GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!!

Thanks for the review Todd J I was thinking of calling them for some work on our duplex. You saved me time that I could have wasted by finding out that they dont work on rental properties. Sounds like a bad way to do business to me. What is the difference if your project is where you live or is an investment property.

Scheduled a consult for window replacement. they called three hours before scheduled time to cancel the meeting. Obviously this is a sign of how they do business, can you trust them to make commitments? I have young children, I made arrangements to have a sitter watch them. I had high hopes based on other reviews.
