Items i need are usually in stock, I also purchased a power washer and generator from this store in the past and was very happy with both items. The power washer had a small issue and their shop was able to diagnose and fix it very quickly. Always happy to buy what I need here.

This is a very nice store with ample parking. John does a great job repairing everything.

I am a frequent shopper at the store whether it’s one here or at a neighboring location I was recently at your Newbern Avenue location and I was expecting lackluster customer service like I receive in Cary but I’ll have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Yasmine was extremely efficient and very knowledgeable when to came to prices and location of equipment in the store. She also was very quick in getting people through the line, Unlike previous times when I have been in your store. I must really say my total experience was elevated duty Yasmine I highly recommend visiting the store when she is present I guarantee your experience will be just as great as mine.

Frustrating time trying to order online. Twice it dropped me from the site and the third attempt it told me my card was declined and to call the bank. Called the bank and they said a charge had been approved but the amount was $0.00. I was given an order number and phone number by the NT site and called customer service and they didnt have a record of that order number. Customer Service just said to log back in and use chat. Just got it to process but think shopping in the store is much easier. I did go to the store first but they dont carry what I wanted in the store.

Im very satisfied with this Nothern Tool location. Their customer service is always phenomenal. Ive had several great experiences with them but today Cameron saved the day. I was having issues with one of my tools which I believe was a manufacturer defect, so not Notherns fault other than for selling it. Cameron took the time out immediately to check out what I was telling him for himself. We both were able to agree that something was clearly wrong with this tool and he was able to give me a refund. Im glad we were able to work something out because one bad tool isnt worth losing a repeat customer. Thank you!

This was an online experience, but I was looking a long time for a libman heavy duty broom after mine literally fell apart after almost 40 years. I couldnt find one anywhere so I started looking online and found a real mom and pop type store in Northern Tool! YAY! Thanks so much !!!!

I went in for curbside pick up. I was stuck outside waiting for 10 minutes.There were no obvious signs about where to pick up items so I pulled in front of the store. When I called to tell them I was there and I was immediately put on hold where I stayed for 10 minutes outside in the car in 85 degree heat with a 3 year old.I couldnt go in as I had no mask for my child.I kept asking people that were going in to ask what was up and tell them I was there. It must have worked because eventually a man came out with his mask not covering his nose to tell me I had been mistaken as I had not been on hold. I then showed him my phone where I was still very much on hold. Then he told me I parked in the wrong area for a pick up. Apparently there were tiny signs that you can only see if you are parked there telling you to park there.I asked for my item. He never told me why I was on hold for 10 minutes or acknowledged any error had been made.

This place is a grown mans toys r us!!! Great place and lots to look at!!

Unlike many hardware stores in our area, they answered their phone! They physically checked if they had what we needed. And cheerfully explained their liberal return policy in case it didnt work out for us.

I purchased an Attic Fan online from this store. They were showing 4 or 5 in stock. I was going to just buy it and go to the store and pick it up, however at check out they presented an option to pay $19.99 for same day delivery . I thought to myself, that is worth not having to drive there and back, but I am sadly mistaken. I received an email saying they received my order and that someone would be contacting me. I waited all day and no contact. I emailed customer service the next morning. No reply. I called the store, sat on hold for 20 min and then get so.e guy finally on the phone that had an attitude with me. I asked him what I did wrong for him to have the attitude that he did. I guess he was not prepared for someone not to accept his fake I am a Manager at Northern Tool so accept my blank apology . With a sigh he offered me a $20 gift card. This will be my last purchase from Northern Tool. It is no wonder that Harbour Freight is moving in and taking their business.

I always have a good experience shopping here. Very clean and the employees are willing to assist. I also like the fact that they are now a authorized stihl dealer.

Not sure what has changed at this franchise but it was only a few years ago that I would have driven to the Cary store just to get decent customer service. Twice as far from my home! Has that ever changed! You simply wont find better service anywhere in my opinion. The management is excellent and they have gone the extra mile for me many times in recent years. Mike and Hussain have stepped up and helped me with products often when the manufacturer would not. Highly recommended

Good luck with this place. If your lucky you can get out of there with the item you need, however they will probably charge you double for the item. Then when you bring it to their attention, they contest that They made a mistake. Got charged double for single pair of boots. Then they contest that they charged me double even when you have the receipt to prove it. Never again.

Selection is very diverse and NT does a great job of having the items you need as well as hooking you with great items you want. Prices are reasonable, you can get it cheaper but they have it NOW and Im more than happy to pay a little extra to have such a great selection just a few minutes away.For their target market Northern is tops in my book!

Thank Bob the manager for losing my business as a customer. Bought a halogen light from there 2 months ago. Half of it stopped working for no reason. Its clearly a light you can only get from Northern. Well, Bob agreed but couldnt confirm it. For some reason NONE of my transactions were showing on my card history, so he wouldnt replace it or give me store credit towards another. Even the polite girls up front knew what was going to happen when they had to call Bob up. All 3 of them watched me walk out the door, never to return. Ill have my next heater shipped to me from another vendor. And everything Ive ever purchased from there can be found elsewhere. All over a $50 light. Bye Bob!

Out of stock on an item in the sales flyer. Was told over the phone 10 was in stock. I told them to hold 2 for me. Drove over an hour from Fuquay in 5pm traffic to buy item. They didnt have any in stock and told me their inventory was wrong. Not a good way to run a business. They lost a good customer

Spent over $1000 there bought a small utility cart pull behind brought it home it together 1 tire was flat, took it back they replaced the tube. Used it one time next tire went flat. Mike the manager was no help, said I could pay him to replace tube. Needed to order the tube. Curt & rude! I’m a regular customer but that just changed.

I had a lot of questions about getting the proper hoses and connectors for a new air compressor I bought. They took there time with me and gave me customer service like I haven’t seen since going to a small hardware store in Fayetteville NC. I did have to ask someone for help in that section at the front counter (they wasn’t associates buzzing around) ...I have been going here for years with similar experiences.

The cashier was going to charge me $150 for an item that was listed on their website for $100. Good thing I knew the price, otherwise I would have overspent. Check your prices before you buy.

I asked a clerk about a chainsaw helmet with face shield. She looked at me like I was speaking German. Had no clue what I was talking about, and sent me to the skimpy safety section. I finally found a manager, and he said they were out and could not keep them in stock. Uh, order more next time? Hey did have a mower wheel I was looking for, and a sale on something else I wanted, so they get 3 stars for that, but none for customer service.
