I only regret not meeting this man years ago. Easy to work with. Honest and doesnt kill the pockets. Hes one that would rather have repeat costumers over one time big hitter quitters. He knows what hes doing and actually goes the extra mile. If you dont check him out, definitely your loss!

This guy is a living computer!! He does his diagnosis without computer first, then if he finds any problems he uses a computer to confirm. As you may know, not all problems can be detected by computer, that is why his method is a smart one. In addition, he wont charge for unnecessary and expensive replacement parts: he will fix it if possible, or if non-reparable, he will recommend a least expensive yet efficient and functional parts. If the repair does not make economic sense, he will not hesitate to advise you. Finally, his prices are moderates, compared to other shops where you are billed extra things. For example, my 2005 ford escape needed bearing wheel replacement and was given an estimated bill of $800 by a shop in Durham. JM Auto did the same thing for about half the price. I was so happy and gave a tip of $20. These are real people, descent and common people like me. You will be in safe hands. I highly recommend JM auto for all your auto problems.

My story starts back in January of this year. I was referred to the shop by a co-worker. They did really great work on her car. My goal was to get my check engine light off before inspection. Well its April folks and 2,000.00 later that check engine light is still on. A mechanic at the shop by the name of Robert was supposed to replace the catalytic converter ( the cause of the check engine light) and a few other things. Back and forth for weeks, with Robert and his poor communication style. Shucking and jiving with constant lies and deceit. All to receive my car and have the check engine light come back on. Well come to find out ( after taking the car to a real mechanic) I found out they never replaced the part. At this point i reached out to the owner, Jonas who asked me to bring the car back to look at it. He raises the car and tells me there was a little bit of oil on the converter and that is why the light came on. He wipes the alleged oil away and says the problem is fixed. As you can guess by now, the light comes back on again. I take it back to the shop again, he called me at work and confirmed that the part had not been changed on the car. He tells me that if buy the part he would put it on for me for free, as Robert told Jonas he will not refund the money i gave him. How kind of them to offer to put it on free right, and only buy the part ? The only problem is i have already paid for the part and the labor so why would i pay for the part again? So then Jonas tells me he will order the part and i can drop the car off on Tuesday. Well I guess we can drop the weeks down from 7 days to 6 days. Because Tuesday no longer exists. I called that Monday no answer, text as well. called Tuesday morning Jonas tells me that he does not know when the part is going to come in, that was about two weeks ago. I think this is really sad. I only have one car, i had to get a bus pass, borrow peoples car, give people gas money to get dropped off. I would think the polite thing to do would be to refund my money. But as you can guess that did not happen. The old me would probably just chop this up to a loss and just go to another shop and have the work done. But not in 2019! I want it all back, every dime! The only thing that makes me sad about the situation now, is that i can not be there to see their face when the sheriff hands them that summons to court. I close with the words of LaNethia Leaks You never win, when you play dirty. YOU can never win

I think it is a very good place for students to go because it is very cheap, especially for foreign students. I got a quote from Mineke for replacing the coupling exhaust pipe, which is around 200 dollars including 90 labor and 90 material. JM only charged me 50 dollars for labor and 20 dollars for materials. And the car get fixed very well and he checked twice to make sure the welding is tight. So I think you should go there if you want to save money and save your car.
