Not quick but definitely provides good service for cheap
Went there yesterday and was told the auto center part opens at 10 waited there for 25 minutes after 10 and still was not open what a joke that place is even tried to call the customer service desk for Wal-Mart itself and no one would pick up the phone worst place ever not customer friendly at all. They lost out on this person buying 3 new tires from them will never shop there ever again if I could give 0 stars I would but they dont give the option of that.
Took 2 hours to put 2 tires on my car. Was this in line at 10 when they opened. I only had 2 customers ahead of me as well. Talked to the manager and told him that was too long of a wait. Wish I could talk to Walmart about this issue.
Waited at the counter for 10 minutes for someone to show up, absolutely ridiculous everyone that works here should be fired.
No signs posted other automotive hours. I arrived at 11: 00am and it was clouse, I came back at 4:20pm and was told they were not accepting any more cars they were closed for the day apparently imaginary hours are kept when I asked what time they opened the mechanic flat lied and sent 10 a.m and when I told him no thats not the case came up with some roundabout oil I guess they opened at 11:30. I dont understand how you dont even know when your shop opens and you only work for 5 hours thats a crock of s***

They are the worst. I arrived at 8:30 am and was told that the card machine was down so only cash was accepted. After going a block down the road to the ATM, I went back thinking I was still good on time. Ive been here since 8:45 am waiting on an oil change and tires. It is now 12:16 pm and they are just now getting to the tires. When I arrived it was 2 people ahead of me. One for oil change and one for tires. By the time they finish Im looking at over 4 hours to get tires and an oil change. You can drive to another state and get service faster then getting things done here. I would give any stars if it was allowed.
Person working in electronics department had to many excuses why they didnt want to look for the items I was interested in.

If you want quality work done to your car, dont rush the mechanics! These ratings do not give this location any justice! The service was great and the employees were very friendly. There was an issue that I had after the service was complete and they didnt hesitate to take care of it :)The reason I came in was to have my tires replaced. I had to wait 2 hours for my tire replacement to be completed, as someone had one before me, but growing up with my parents going to get their cars worked on, I knew better than to make plans on a day that Im having anything done to my car. There were people complaining to the repairmen/people checking them out that they had stuff to do and needed their car done asap. I had spoken to one of them while the guys were working on my car and he told me he appreciated my patience. Said that most people rush them and still expect a quality job, when sometimes, taking the little extra time will make a difference. I appreciate them taking the time to make sure my car was taken care of.
I walked in today 5/12/2015 to see if I could get tires put on my car.A couple of guys helped me and they were the nicest most courteous group I have encountered in a long time.Each and every one of them were very busy but they saw I was taken care of.I had to stay in store(my choice)to wait for my car to be finished.The time frame they finished my car was excellent and when my car was ready I was called immediately on the intercom.I had other purchases to check out and these guys were concerned about getting anything dirty during the process and used the utmost care with my items.THIS is what keeps customers coming back!!!!!! Thanks so much guys for making my experience totally stress free.You made my day.
Might want to ask the customer what they’re calling for before you just hang up on them. I’ll get my oil changed elsewhere.
I was in this store for nearly four hours. I ordered my tires online and figured I should get them put on there instead of going to the dealership. I should have went to the dealership. They mentioned that there was only one tech and that it may take two hours. In between this time, I went to get an iced coffee, watched a few episodes of Blackish, my phone died and when I checked in with them two hours later they still had not started. It was supposed to be $10 per tire plus tax and I was charged $12 per tire. This man flat out lied to my face and said that because they were Walmart tires the price was $12 instead of $22, and at this point I am too annoyed and too tired to argue. I hope your extra money was worth it. I am NEVER going back. I feel disrespected, undervalued and cheated.
Do NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! I would give ZERO stars if possible. I have come here two weekends in a row to be told they were not opening timely for over an hour. When I come back mid-day or in the evening they tell em they are not doing taking anymore cars. They have one car in a bay and no other waiting. WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I will never give this auto center my business again! Store manager needs to fire all the staff back here and get people who actually care about servicing paying customers.
Service rep told me a tire size was out of stock. So I ordered it online to be delivered to the store. It turns out they have 10+ in-stock. Cancel my online order. Stood in line 3 times for a total of 30mins. Carry-in rim took 3hr to mount and balance.

I understand slow service, but they flat out lied to us! We were told there were 3 cars ahead of us for an oil change and it would take an hour. Three hours later and the car is still not done and theyve all disappeared so we cant even get our keys to leave! Go somewhere else if you dont have all day to sit in Walmart waiting, and dont trust the time they say it will take.
AVOID! They will damage your car!2017 HONDA CR-V - This service center ruined my lower engine cover by installing it incorrectly. They snapped it onto the outside of the cover assembly. The cover should be installed the way it was taken off - where the front of the cover slides above the assembly, so the wind does not catch it & bend it down to the road.In the past I had reasonable service, but this will now cost $35, so Walmart does not save any money on an oil change when you have to repair your care afterward.Well, Honda went nutz overcharging for the repair, so it was way way way more!

I ordered tires online and picked them up at the store. The staff at the auto area was both friendly and knowledgeable. It took longer than I thought but the price is right and they did a good job.
Nobody answers the phone because they don’t have enough people working for them. I went for oil change and they refused to do it because they were closing at 7:00 I was there at 6:30. The sign that says “we pledge to accept orders until closing time” should be removed because they don’t obey that pledge it’s a fake pledge hanging on the wall. Walmart doesn’t care what I write about their service. I will continue to report these negative experiences until I see a change.
Waited for several hours for an oil change and tire. Thought it was interesting that a gentleman with a walmart uniform was able to cut the cue and get in and out faster than the 7 people in front of him. Hmm.
So much cheaper than places like Jiffy Lube, but what you save in money youll probably make up for in time spent waiting. Overall a really great experience and Ill definitely be back.
This is the worst place ever. I can’t give them less than 1 star otherwise I would. They are closed during their normal business hours because they don’t have enough staff to work for them. They just posted a sign on the door saying SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE really I came here early in the morning because usually they make you wait 5 hours for an oil change or tire installation. I had terrible experience in the past. So there is no point in coming early it’s 8:30 AM now they are supposed to be open 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Normally go to the Walmart in Clayton but i got a flat tire while i was in Raleigh and needed to get it fixed. Ive been here since 3pm, done most of my shopping and my car is still not ready. It is now 6pm. I shouldve just went to the one in clayton. Im normally in and out of there in an hour or less.
Took over 4 hrs to get 4 tires installed. I was second car in line. They took the wheels off and went to lunch or something. I guess this is how they keep the price down, I will pay the extra for my next tires.
3 hours for an oil change. 3 guys standing back there dancing and doing basically nothing. The one guy who was doing something kept bouncing back and fourth from working on all of the cars In the bays. This place is extremely poorly managed. There were also a lot of unhappy customers waiting and no one seemed to care.

I have three and a half hours waiting for my tires to change and right now they let me know they dont have the tires I order. It is the worst service I got, buy here but install elsewhere, it will be faster. Maybe Ill have to wait another hour or two to get my car delivered. bad!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really slow service. Waited over 2 hours for a oil change. Staff wasn’t responsive when asked the wait time when we arrived or when asked for an update midway through. Staff was not friendly at all and did not care. When looking at the final receipt, said the car was done at 2:30. However, it was not actually done until 3:15. Will never get my car serviced at Walmart again, terrible experience.
Truly awful interaction with employee. Just after 8am, I pulled up in service bay, as you do at most Walmarts and waited a minute for someone to start the process of getting an oil change. There was an employee sweeping in bay next to mine and he didnt say anything. After several minutes I decide to get out of the car and go inside and once I got about 20 feet past the employee, he asked if he could help me. Told him I was there for an oil change and he he said that wasnt the proper place to park for an oil change. Fine, but shouldnt he have addressed this sooner than when I had gotten by him. It rubbed me the wrong way and seemed deliberately lazy, so I told him I would just leave instead. One employee and he was truly not a customer friendly employee. Never again!

This place is absolutely terrible. Poor and careless service with minimal organization. They confused two identical Cars and completely failed to address their issues. It took an entire hour for me to even be acknowledged. I will never go here again. I recommend you dont either

We came for a tire. 1 tire. It took hours, they kept skipping us and when we would bring it to their attention, they forgot who we were, and what we were there to do again. This occurred 3 different times for 1 tire. I had to go into the garage area and show them which keys were mine!! Terrrrrible service!!!!!!
So i called to get my headlights restored and first i was on hold so long that i hung up and called bsck in fear i wasnt going to make it in time.So i call back and a lady answers and transfers mw to the auto department where another lady or maybe the same lady tells me to be there by 6 pm .I make it there by 6pm only for them to tel me that they are closed smfh ans the reason being because they were short of Techs which obviously didnt hapoen 5 minutes prior to me calling im pretty sure they been short for awhile.Bottem line i rushed there for nothing and didnt get my headlights restored .Thanks for nothing 👌👌👌
The tire and lube Center is very slow ... unless you go first thing when they open. Usually only 1 person working here. I suggest go somewhere else. And Walmart is so BIG ... they have so much $ they dont care about service.
Had battery tested at two parts stores and deemed bad by both. Went here to get it warrantied (only 14 months into 36 month free replacement) and guy tested it saw it was under the 600 amps rating and would not replace it. I didnt argue with him and just left totally aggravated.

Best prices for tires and oil changes, but you might have a long wait and the customer service is lacking. Wish they offered wheel alignments since you can get a new set of tires, but youll have to go elsewhere.

Ive never had a very terrible experience at a store that will make me take the time out to actually write a review. I left work and headed straight to the Tire & Auto care department at this subpar Walmart location to get new tires & get an oil change. Now, every single thing Im going to say here isnt exaggerated one bit. Got there at 4pm, took 20mins for one them to tend to me, was told itd be about 1hr 30mins. Cool stuff. Came back 6pm. They hadnt even started on my car and the so called Manager Mike didnt care. Decided to be patient and waited. Time check 7pm. Wheres my car? Manager Mike had just left, attendant named Blu tells me oh we are short-staffed. And they havent even started on my tires. At this point, I asked for the key to my car and told them I wasnt going to wait for my tires to be tended to. Charge was supposed to be just under $50, it came up to about $72. Why? I ask..error on their part. Now this is where I got really mad, it took 25mins to get another manager, Steve (who doesnt seem like he enjoys his job) to come make the correction and they charged me fully. No apologies whatsoever. Just excuses. Now, obviously I will never visit this auto care unit but I will make it a point to dissuade everyone from going to them. Save yourself the mental energy. A Star rating is quite a lot in my opinion. Your service is Terrible. Do better.

Very poorly run. Ive visited this shop on two occasions and it has not been open despite the posted hours showing 7am. Its 8:15am and the door is still locked. Other customers are coming and leaving. Would you trust this place to change your oil?
Very poor service.no one at the front desk to take my car keys. I hadto wait for more than 30 minutes for the guy in the front desk. If you have nothing to do and you are looking for a way to waste your time, come here.

Very slow service. I was there early to avoid the rush and arrived before anyone. It still took 1:30 to replace my tires. Another customer who arrived awhile after I did had his tires done at the same time as mine.
