Auto way is the best mechanic shop in Raleigh. They are honest folks and I’ve been working with them for a few years now. They are professional and know their stuff. Another good thing they do is give you referrals to other honest places if they don’t have a certain service you need. All the folks they’ve referred me to are also very honest and trustworthy. I bring my car in and even refer folks I know over here. I highly recommend them for your automotive service needs.For directions know that they are at the back of the building maps take you to. Nice guy, very helpful. Place is kinda sit but quite a big garage. He did a quick check for a noise from a/c and fixed it in there minutes (adjusted the cover over engine block) and didnt charge. Their rates are standard as any other place. What makes it different is their positive attitude. If and when needed, I certainly will go to them.

By far the most honest mechanic shop in Wake County. The prices are great, the customer service is fantastic. Never have I felt like they were taking advantage of me because I am a woman with no knowledge of mechanical repairs. I am a student at NC State and this is my first time ever having car trouble in Raleigh. I got a flat tire and brought it in an hour before closing. They were super friendly, found a nail in my tire and patched it up in about ten minutes. Very fast and professional service. Will be coming back in the future!

I have been going here for a few years now, and they have become the most trusted auto mechanics that Ive ever used. When they tell me the cost of something, I know that I wont get it any cheaper or quicker. They do great work and are very knowledgeable.As an anecdote, I went there once for an oil leak. They found that the oil cap wasnt ideal for that model. Without saying a word, the mechanic jumped in his truck and disappeared for 10 minutes. He returned with a new oil cap and sent me on my way without charging me a dime.Recently I went to a specialist due to an issue with my brakes. I only went to the specialist first because this appeared to possibly be an electrical issue and I knew the previous owner had tried to get this fixed multiple times without solving the problem. The specialist was going to charge me about $600 for various repairs once it was diagnosed. I called up Auto Way and they did it half an hour later for about $175. You cant beat that!

Al and his team always give the best service. If you have been here you know they live up to their reputation. If you havent been here give them a try I promise you wont be disappointed.

I have been in Raleigh for 10 years now, and Ive never found anyone better than the folks at Auto Way. They always get parts for less than anyone else, whether new or used. Their customer service is awesome! They always show me the parts theyve taken off and explain and show me what was wrong and how they fixed it. They are always trying to save me money, rather than trying to get me to spend more. I always pay less at Auto Way.Their work is awesome, and I cant recommend them highly enough! I will never go anywhere else for my auto/mechanical needs.
